PoliticsRe: IBB To Run For President In 2011: Your Opinion by Afam(m): 7:03pm On Nov 14, 2007
I believe IBB has every right to contest the next presidential election if he wins the primaries in any registered political party in Nigeria by 2011.

I also believe Nigerians have what it takes to get him into Aso Rock or hand him a serious defeat at the polls.

@Afam
Way to go posting someone's photo in a public forum. Did he ask you to do that? What about his privacy? That's vindictive
I think the high probability of this guy using my bank details for fraud is way too important to me than his photo, if he is genuine then he has nothing to fear but if he is not, I am really sorry for him because it is this type of nonsense that make people believe that majority of Nigerians are fraudsters.

I need to be certain that my bank details have not fallen into the hands of a crook that's all. I never asked anyone to bring projects to me as I get to turn down more than 50% of the requests that come my way for different reasons.

Short of going into a lecture here the content below is from the link someone posted as I noticed you shamelessly avoided the issue when facts made nonsense of your position based on warped sense of reasoning.
Anyone with brain will know that the wikipedia link was posted by someone. I don't rush to wikipedia to learn any new thing.

Not that I expect mrpataki to understand this anyway, he is irredeemably stupid.

Team B: Kobojunkie, mrpataki, texazzpete

It seems team A is routing team B. grin
RichyBlack,

How did you miss out davidylan who seems to be agreeing with everything depending on the direction of the wind?

Purist:
@Afam:

Semantics! Semantics!!

That's usually the cause of disagreements on issues like this. I don't know if some just deliberately misinterprete your words to appear more intelligent, or they simply can't understand simple statements. Debates like this are meant to be educating and enlightening, not an avenue for us to start displaying our insulting skills.

Despite desbosky's and my explanation, mrpataki is still asking me what I mean by "originally different".
My friend, frustration can cause so many things. I have chosen not to let them get away with their stupidity and diversionary tactics, I will rather expose them for what they are and what they stand for.

The other guy mrpataki is still defending his lousy claim that Kva is a product simply because he saw Kva somewhere on my website without understanding that Kva is kilo volts amps and as such cannot be a product.

Now, I am beginning to understand why they believe that the black man is inferior to the white man, it seems they have based their positions on their own level of reasoning which is understandable even though regrettable.

So whenever you come across I-man, davidylan, mrpataki, texazzpete and kobojunkie just read and have a good laugh because they are usually wrong and at the same time they can never be corrected so you can understand how difficult it is to make them see reason.

@Afam
I never heard a fool talk that way. Your price was too cheap for such a big project, that i don't believe you could deliver. And your home page is not impressive at all. A portal with much modules needs an experienced develop. If you cares to know, i got a better guy, believe it or not he did it for free. And i won the project.
Too cheap for the demo that you spent time and money begging for the price to come down? You contacted me, over over a period of 10 days, you asked for my bank account after going through some sites, you are sounding as if you saw an advertisement somewhere.

The person could even pay you self for him to do the demo, it is not my headache but yours.

evergie:
Afam please post the link to your previous jobs so we can all review it. You claim you are on every business (power, energy, forex, stocks, etc), so tell me and my fellow nairalander whats your area of expertise. Afam please improve on your so called previous job or homepage www.afamnnaji.com , there is no sign of core programming on your job, just normal HTML.
Sorry, I am into 2 things, web solutions and alternative energy, I don't do stocks, forex etc.

evergie:
I am presently seeking for developer for out right employment, i dnt even need people like you because you are so worthless. People like you kill this web business, cheap, jobless, lousy, infact I don't even know what to qualify you with. Hungry programmer.

Please compare this site to afam's homepage http://www.netxpertsolutions.com, which will you like to work with?
The last time I spoke with you was when you told me on phone that you were in a bus and that you will be making payment into my account and that I should just go ahead and start (a day after collecting my business bank details).

So, when did you realize all these? I just hope you don't go about collecting people's bank details and using same for fraud because that will be your greatest undoing.

Don't worry Everestus your details will be effortlessly sent to the EFCC anyday any scam is related to my bank account, that is a promise I intend to fulfill.

I won't go into comparing my websites with others as that would be childish but obtaining bank details with possible usage for fraud is one think that will keep you out of circulation for quite a long time.

As a matter of fact I will do an official letter to my bank informing them that my account details may have fallen into the hands of a fraudster along with your full names. At least it will make life easier for me should you try any nonsense with my business account.

Can a public editable encyclopedia become a real substitute to proper knowledge or even reference to facts? I think not.
Foreign AffairsRe: Some Memorable Quotes Of George Bush by Afam(op): 12:54pm On Nov 14, 2007
@Purist,

These guys will wear you down if you think you are dealing with normal human beings. If you do not have the energy to respond to their insults in kind then just ignore them.

Most of them are students trying to make ends meet in foreign lands so they easily transfer their hopelessness to the forum as the forum helps them to forget the reality staring them in the face.

You will be surprised to note that one person will agree completely with you on one post and in another post (same thread) do a u-turn and disagree with what he had earlier agreed to. No, it is not magic, it is real and these guys do it often.

I state it again: Bioethanol and Ethanol are the same thing! Ethyl alcohol. Prove me wrong without throwing your insults.
You don't seem to get it, do you? Me? Prove you wrong? What for? You don't deserve any free education.

What did you do when I made it clear to you that you were 100% wrong to believe that Kva was a product and that there was something like Renewable Technology for energy consumption?

Honestly, I regretted correcting you, it would have been fun seeing how you would have been repeating them over and over again, slowpoke.

You chop your school fees? Try wikipedia now, abi you don tire?

Kobojunkie:
I notice that someone is now picking on my spelling mistake.

Anywho,

BYPRODUCT, not BIPRODUCT

Just incase, it was not a spelling issue ,

A byproduct is a secondary or incidental product deriving from a manufacturing process, a chemical reaction or a biochemical pathway, and is not the primary product or service being produced. A by-product can be useful and marketable, or it can have severe ecological consequences.

I errors and spelling mistakes in my posts all this while?? wonder how come the same did not notice all the grammatical. Could be that the meaning of the word is the actual mystery here,
(Not that we will ever know the truth anyway ) LMAO!!!
With people like you making assumptions may be dangerous as you could yet again insist that you meant biproduct and you may even bring something from wikipedia to support such nonsense.

For someone that has been wrong in over 70% of issues he got involved in it is only fair to allow you to state precisely what your intentions are.

Una no go kill person for this forum, which one come be biproducts ehh kwan?
Foreign AffairsRe: Some Memorable Quotes Of George Bush by Afam(op): 11:57am On Nov 14, 2007
A teacher comes into a class of say 30 students, spends the next 40 minutes teaching the students on a topic and at the end she asks "any questions?" and the whole class choruses "no sir".

The teacher felt he had been able to pass the message across but something told him to set a small test for the class. He did but was surprised to see results ranging from 10% to 100%.

Now, the students were taught the same topic by the same teacher and at the same time, so what went wrong?

If you can answer this question they you will realize why davidylan, mrpataki, texazzpete, I-man and kobojunkie display the low level of reasoning they display on this forum.

Well, as someone noted earlier, when issues get to the point of logic some people begin to see ghosts. These people don dey even see spirits join (before you know it someone will ask for the difference between ghost and spirit, oya ooo).

@ettehgate,

I know them and that is why they should be put where they belong, the waste bin.

@texazzpete,

Many madmen don't even agree that they are mad so I am not surprised that you cannot even recall that you have been begging for an administrator role on Nairaland.

innumerable number of forums? Name just 4.

If you feel so bad why don't you setup a forum and run it the way you like. You seem to be busy criticizing everybody and yet you have never taken the initiative to start something on your own, is it that bad?

Truth be told, you will be banned in some of the forums that I belong to because they cannot stand your stupidity.

Where the sir come dey come from? Please, lose the sir, I don't need it, you are beginning to sound like a booth licker already. That you may have gone to the university (according to you sha) and graduated in 2003 as an old man is no excuse for you to be addressing people like that.

One more thing, I am sure that the administrator of this forum has been able to see through the many lies of people like you that claim that I insult people because I have never insulted anyone on this forum unless I am responding to an insult and I don't intend to stop this very effective practice, not in the near future.

I respect people regardless of their views and opinions even if I don't agree with them. Why would someone choose to insult another for having a different point of view if not that the person is incapable of making his/her case in a logical manner devoid of lies and misinformation.

mrpataki:
At least there was a reasonable fellow who could argue his own points out without resorting to invectives as it is your custom. I can see you like muddling up issues, without thinking accurately before you ejaculate what you carry in that vacuum you call a head of yours.

Are you not the same idiot who stated, that biodiesel can be gotten from methanol+caustic soda+used vegetable oil?

Yet again, you state biofuels cannot be gotten from biomass.

You really need to stop contributing on the forum, apply your senses to reading then come back for intellectual postings. Enough of you staying under this umbrella of stupidity and thinking that you are the most knowledgeable being here!
So, finally you have benefited again on this forum.

Now that you have yet again been proven wrong you want to use a back door to understand how methanol + caustic soda + used vegetable oil can produce usable fuel for a diesel engine, wrong move.

I prefer seeing arrogant empty heads like you talk nonsense, believe me. I only hope and pray that no one bothers to explain to you how it works so you can live and die the slowpoke that you are.

Next?
Technology MarketRe: Need To Buy An Inverter by Afam(m): 8:58am On Nov 14, 2007
Everybody wants inverter. Inverter systems must be properly designed and setup otherwise you will join over 60% of Nigerians with bad experiences.

Ask a lot of questions because these units will be working all the time considering the fact that once you pay for one you cannot get your money back, you will of course get so many excuses why the system is not performing as promised.

See www.justalternativepower.com and get to know what is necessary before getting an inverter system.

Thank God for debosky that took his time to write what he wrote because you guys don't deserve it.

Personally, if you depended on this forum to understand the difference it would have taken you forever because each time you display your lack of knowledge on something here I enjoy it because there is nothing worse that mixing arrogance with stupidity.

I will suggest further reading anyway as one entry will not give you a fundamental knowledge on the issue before you go elsewhere and start another senseless debate based on your inability to learn.

It is all about consistency, from day 1 I have maintained bioethanol and ethanol (synthetic) are not the same and you guys have been changing and shifting positions without any shame while pretending to have an idea of the issue on ground.
Foreign AffairsRe: Why isn't Bush Impeached as yet? by Afam(m): 8:40am On Nov 14, 2007
Seems the frustration is getting out of hand here. As they say little minds discuss people so I am not surprised that your submission was about Afam as I am sure your brain cannot process information properly.

Complaining that the forum is too big for one person to manage is not the best way to get into the action on NL, respectfully approach Seun and beg him to give you administrator privilege (I doubt that anyway considering your level of stupidity).

It seems you really miss posts from my inbox, don't worry it usually takes less than 5 minutes to post them here once I get them, it seems such posts really give you the chance to air your opinions based on your warped sense of reasoning.

Why feel bad about the inverters I build? At least I build something while you are desperately begging for a part time job on a public forum.
Foreign AffairsRe: Some Memorable Quotes Of George Bush by Afam(op): 1:05am On Nov 14, 2007
davidylan:
@ debosky, we already get your point. Unlike alfa afam, some of us actually use ethanol on a daily basis.
The argument was on whether bio-ethanol and synthetic-ethanol AS AN ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCE were any different. Of course you can't use ethanol from palmwine in the lab no thanks to impurities.
It is clear that you are under a curse. You are already doomed for life.
Foreign AffairsRe: Some Memorable Quotes Of George Bush by Afam(op): 1:01am On Nov 14, 2007
debosky:
'originally different' is probably not the best way to put it - 'different in origin' is more applicable

Now regarding the differences, since they are produced through different chemical processes, they may in fact be different, let me explain:

'synthetic ethanol' produced from ethylene or coal through catalytic processes may contain impurities which affect/prevent its application for certain uses

as opposed to 'bio-ethanol' produced by biological fermentation from a particular feedstock may contain cellulosic residues or other impurities. . .these subtle differences may actually lead to a difference between the products not easily distinguishable by the lay observer.

'beverage alcohol' is not exactly the same as 'industrial/cosmetic alcohol' - these are some of the differences that Afam might be trying to point out
@debosky,

You didn't have to do this. You should have allowed the gang - mrpataki, kobojunkie and davidylan to continue to display their stupidity on a discussion forum.

mrpataki's case is even worse, until I corrected him he thought Kva was a product and felt there was something like Renewable Technology for energy consumption.
WebmastersRe: Designing A Website Demo For Client by Afam(m): 12:52am On Nov 14, 2007
@smartsoft,

How many times will I tell you never to do a demo for free?

If anyone wants a demo make sure it is being paid for.

No matter how serious you think these people are don't waste your time because they will ask about 3 or 4 other people for the same thing and later take the best from all of them.

evergie contacted me for a school project he claimed he was doing for a bank, he even sent me a copy of one website he claimed the bank asked him to better and the money will be made available.

I insisted on getting N30,000.00 for the demo and that is after I confirm that the money is in my account. He kept making promises about going to pay N10,000.00 today, N10,000.00 the second day and I kept reminding him that anytime the money is in my account I will do the demo.

He refused to answer his calls neither would he respond to chat messages even when he was always calling and sending text messages before hoping that promises will be enough to make me do the demo after he realized that I wouldn't even write a single line of code without the cash.

There are so many evergie's out there, your portfolio or past projects should be enough to convince a client on your capability, if the person wants a demo then charge for it.

The hopeless gang again.

Kobojunkie:
The average american does not even know where Nigeria is. You mention Nigeria and they echo "FRAUD". The Average American does not even want to visit Nigeria or most places in Africa. The average american is content with having a good job and paying money to organizations that will go out to help poor people in africa and much. Where in the world do you get your idea of what the average american cares for?? Heck even the polls show it daily. People are more concerned about the government getting the price of gas down and really do not care how many people in nigeria have been killed so far.
Some people can be stupid.

The content in brown - Did you take a poll? If this is not hypocrisy then what is it?

The content in red - Who are the they? Who is doing the mentioning?

The content in blue - I am sure the poster asked the americans to know that the average american does not want to visit Nigeria.

Bottomline? We are faced with people with very low level of reasoning who only see things in 2 dimensions.

In one single post someone queried a statement for using the average american and then proceeded to pollute the whole area with similar statements. Real shame. I guess some of us should stop thinking with our left hands.

The quote above should read

Unless some of you are living outside planet earth I am sure you would know what the average american (that has heard about Nigeria) thinks about Nigeria and Nigerians even though the average american cannot even show you where some states are on the US map not to talk about Nigeria.
Apart from the content in bold I am sure the remaining part of my statement made it clear that finding states in the US is even a hard task for the americans so telling us that they don't know where Africa is to me is plain waste of space.
