What is the definition of terrorism?

That some misguided people here have chosen to see terrorism via tribal, racial or religious prisms is their own cup of tea and that does not change the meaning of the word.

Any act that strikes terror in people is an act of terrorism regardless of the person, group or nation involved.

If this man was a muslim a lot of you that are now trying to redefine terrorism would have summarily concluded that he was a terrorist and killed those people because islam supported the killings.
