This is typical of most of our leaders today, they take decisions based on their little abi na limited knowledge and yet would not want to learn anything.

Nigeria1 is basically looking for government patronage, the other time he was organizing a welcome party for the wife of Yar'adua in the US.

I just pray that Nigeria does not fall into the hands of people like this man.
Foreign AffairsRe: Some Memorable Quotes Of George Bush by Afam(op): 9:20pm On Nov 07, 2007
Your level of ignorance is getting higher by the minute.

1. There is nothing like Renewable Technology for energy consumption

2. What is a backup Kva? You seem to be manufacturing phrases that don't mean anything. K=Kilo, v=volts, a= amps. Backup KiloVoltsAmps? Your stupidity is alarming.

3. Not interested in what China build as we build inverters ourselves

4. You are yet to answer the question as regards what you were doing at the 5 weeks energy course because your comments thus far show that you know next to nothing as regards alternative energy.

On the mistake in your grammar, I doubt if it will make sense to you after all in less than 3 posts you have clearly shown that you are an alternative energy wannabe, talking about things you don't understand and claiming to be using words interchangeably.

Swallow your pride and hide your head in shame.

I have quoted my statement meant for you above, also with your response to me. Please where am I lacking proper English/Grammar? huh I am willing to accept correction if you got anything sensible to proffer.

I tried as much as possible to make my grammar construction less herculean for your comprehension. embarassed You are still complaining huh
I refuse to point out the mistake, it gives me pleasure to know that you cannot even figure it out, real shame. Maybe you are used to making such mistakes all your life that you don't see anything wrong in it.

mrpataki:

Just saw your website. I can see that you are good with advertising power backup systems on your website. When the world is thinking of renewable technology for Energy consumption, you are still celebrating backup KVa's. Now I understand your predicament the more. cheesy
Again you will display your ignorance here. What do you understand by renewable technology for Energy consumption?

Renewable technology? Please give a simple example.

I am aware of renewable energy. Renewable technology is strange to me. Did they just invent that last night?

mrpataki:
I am totally short of words for this skunk called Afam. At the moment, I am in a five weeks energy management course, and we have different people from different nations represented. You need to see the way Indians talk about the Energy Policy in their country. Even Indonesia!

Tanzania sef dey open their mouth for talks. Relevant case studies abound in Tanzania about how energy usage is been maximised. Nothing can be said of Nigeria. Yet some people are here talking baloney on Bush administration.

Shameless beings!
This 5 weeks energy management course you claim you are attending, who are you representing? Nigeria? Netherlands? Or are you just a cleaner making sure that the venue is in order?

A small information for your ignorant brain.

You cannot have any renewable energy plan without a backup plan unless your renewable energy plan has a steady source of energy and in most cases this does not exist.

Solar or wind solutions still require inverters and battery banks.

But again, maybe just last night the world developed a "renewable technology" that does not require backup features and yet are viable alternatives to energy issues.

I have designed, built and installed backup solutions for even ISPs for up to 2 days backup with a real performance of 4 days during a long power outage.

So, when next you choose to display your ignorance on something you clearly have no clue about choose your target well so you don't look stupid (even though you are actually very stupid based on your comments here).

@my2cents,

If the Salvage feels that you are insulting his design and/or person, clarify yourself and continue with the review or say bye bye.

Personally, Nigerians like advising others but never like to take advice.

As a reviewer I have been misunderstood.

As someone asking for reviews I have also been misunderstood because I refuse to accept insults as criticisms.

As they say clever people know how to solve problems, wise people know how to avoid problems. I have chosen to be wise as time spent solving avoidable problems could as well be used making progress elsewhere.

Seems you have nothing to offer as you have clearly run out of lies.

There is a saying that goes thus;

If you tell a lie today, tell another lie tomorrow, and another lie the next day, it will continue until you run out of lies.

It seems you have reached the point where you can't even figure out any more lies to tell.

I warned you earlier that you will simply self destruct even though I didn't know it was going to be soon.

I checked out the website listed (www.electrical-project.com) but saw a single page website with copyright info @2007.

In 2007? Even the website of the designer refused to show up.

Unless this is absolutely free I cannot imagine a good reason for a single poster like this.

It all depends on how you respond to them.

All that is needed from you is a receipt for the laptop as far as the laptop is concerned.

You should be able to respectfully tell them its not their jobs to investigate you, as hard as it seems it is really simple and effective, don't forget that the police men are usually scared as they don't know who you are or who you may report to.

Believe it or not, people in countries other then the US, pay attention to world affairs. We form opinions based on relevant information, and most likely are better informed on what is truly happening in your country than you are. Your media is biased and censored; your only getting the stories the Bush admin wants you to hear. Ignorance!? Ha! As a Canadian I can only laugh.

Won't be surprised if comments that were complaining about non Americans commenting on US issues were actually made by I-man or Davidylan using different user IDs as usual.

Danmasani:
No where in this post did Amaechi say that EFCC can not touch Odili. He only said there was a "lack of evidence". That is, when "evidence" shows up, there will be an "offense which could be probed".
This idea of outrightly lying or using misleading headings just to get people read posts is bad and should be frowned upon.

It seems that some Nigerians simply cannot face facts in life and this is not good news.

Afam,
I simply want you guys to ''shift'' all that energy of yours from talking about ''Bush's memorable quotes'' to ''quoting'' tangible and workable solutions to the myriads of problems that's staring us in the face here in Nigeria.
I don't do what you want.

ono:
You might say there are other threads with naija problems and solution, well, but I believe all these your quotes (including Richyblack's) will not stop Bush from completing his term of office.
And where did you get the idea that anyone is interested in Bush not completing his term? Must you manufacture nonsense from thin air just to be seen as making a contribution?

The title of the thread is simple, clear and straight to the point. Trying to divert attention to other non existent issues is a waste of time and energy.

@nigeria1,

Check yourself very well. Stating that you lived here and there means nothing as regards dislike for a tribe because majority of the people that harbor such dislike never openly admit it, rather they mask it but once in a while they let their guards down and say what's really on their minds.

If you are looking for justice and equity then make contributions towards that but if you are interested in playing politics, continue but don't confuse it with justice.

PoliticsRe: Senate: Need For The Creation Of Zaria, Apa And Owena State. by Afam(m): 12:49pm On Nov 06, 2007
@nigeria1,

Nigeria is not making progress today because of people like you, people that are filled with tribal and ethnic sentiments to the extent that common sense is thrown away.

In your wisdom and fear of God (since you asked someone if he had the fear of God) you believe that it is fair to create another state in the South West (making it 7 states) while retaining the 5 states in the South East even when the Igbos constitute the 3rd largest ethnic group on Nigeria (at least Nigerians agree with this, so no need to even go into whether the Igbos are no 1 or no 3).

People like you talk about justice even when injustice runs in your blood.

WebmastersRe: Can You Build A Result Checking Portal For A School? by Afam(m): 11:43am On Nov 06, 2007
This is as easy as implementing any access control feature. Restricting access based on login credentials, in this case say the pins and student names.

The same way you are able to login to read emails even when thousands or even millions have their emails on the same database.

Will hopefully advice (if need be) anyone willing to handle the project as my firm cannot do so due to other on going projects.

It may even be simpler and cheaper for the school to just provide the relevant pins directly to parents (and ultimately to students as some parents may not be computer literate so will still rely on their children to access the results) rather than printing and distributing scratch cards (just cost implications).

The lights may dwarf the freezer and fridge if not changed to energy efficient bulbs so to be on the safe side 5kva inverter would do. If you carry out an energy efficiency program then a 3.5kva would suffice.

you guys are skilled @ chasing shadows instead of the substance. Where did all this talk about NECO and WAEC come up from and took away thereall substance of this tread? you people will be here arguing blindly about interfacing NECO, JAMB, TOFEL, GMAT, PHD , etc and someone else will collect the job under una nose.

The guy tat posted this clearly expalined what he meant when he said NECo and WAEC but una no wan hear, just keep arguing about what dosnt matter.

please can we gett back to the main issue and leave shadows?
I think this is what people that seek attention do all the time. They try to slander people so they look good, sorry you have failed.

I doubt if people have been bidding for this project on this thread so I don't know where the guy got the idea that someone may collect the contract while people are arguing.

But for abhosts that provided information that NECO/WAEC actually send master copy of results to all schools the general impression has been that people check their results online using the NECO/WAEC portal.

If according to abhosts all schools have access to the original results then any school can develop a result checking portal.

If otherwise, then any result checking portal will have to go through NECO/WAEC database and it will not be free or possible without an understanding with NECO/WAEC and in this case all the issues that people have pointed out remain valid.
