Politics › Re: South West Leaders Call On Buhari To Open Nigeria’s Land Borders by Aflix(m): 12:58pm On Nov 10, 2020 |
Litmus: You appear to defeat your purpose. For exactly, Terrorists and American forces passed through our none-existent borders. You’re making the case for a more tightly controlled border and not the relaxation of one. Our borders need closing. I'm saying that the government is unnecessarily making people suffer by closing the border. The aims of the closure is not being achieved as terrorists and rice smugglers still find their ways through the border(with some risks hence the high price of foreign rice). So, it would be better for the government to just officially open the borders for goods. |
Politics › Re: South West Leaders Call On Buhari To Open Nigeria’s Land Borders by Aflix(m): 11:42am On Nov 10, 2020 |
Litmus: "Opening the borders will also play into Bokoharam’s hands" is not the same as the bold in your response above. And you’d be the dumb one if you tried to downplay the importance of Nigeria’s porous borders to Bokoharam/ISAWP. Lol........ Which border did the terrorists that kidnapped that American citizen passed for safe haven We shouldn't deceive ourselves. We all know that the government will stop Boko haram when they are ready to. Opening or closing the border doesn't affect the fight currently. |
Politics › Re: South West Leaders Call On Buhari To Open Nigeria’s Land Borders by Aflix(m): 11:15am On Nov 10, 2020 |
Litmus: Keep those borders closed and stop using ethnicity as a means of undermining every policy necessary for Nigeria’s real progress. The borders are not even half closed enough. Opening the borders will also play into Bokoharam’s hands because they are right now under tremendous unsought as Nigeria takes the fight to them. Damn..... How has the closure in anyway reduced influx of boko haram? You bmcs are stark dumb! |

IamWonderful: In Abia?I blame Obasanjo that played us into the hand of Dangote, he promised cement wouldn't be sold more than 600 naira then but the price never go down beyond #1400 then, when he ban the importation of cement which suppose to good for our economy but it actually didn't help us in anywhere Same way Buhari banned importation of rice and we are all suffering it now. |

Jidibia: U think ogogoro is food abi? With your barren land. Lol..... very funny. Please come to the south and see for yourself. Our land is very fertile and we don't need to spend much on irrigation. Have you ever seen rice growing as weed in the North Tomato, pepper growing as weed!! Just come to the south and see for yourself. |
Politics › Re: UN: North Eastern Nigeria, 3 Other Countries On The Brink Of Famine In 6 Months by Aflix(m): 8:55am On Nov 08, 2020 |
Jidibia: So we are even important to you? Why should you buy food from neighbouring countries why we can produce ours? Abi no be "ONE NIGERIA" again? The way Northerners talk about them feeding Nigeria is very annoying. They talk like without them, whole of south would die of hunger. We in the south can as well produce our own food with lesser efforts than the North. |

MusaChukwudi: Ok, tell us what initiatives (a single one) that you would have put in place to yield money for Nigeria......
If you can’t then you are a much greater failure than Buhari is. Talk is cheap my friend. That's the Reason why he is not the president and Buhari is. If anybody wants to become president, he/she must have the knowledge to move the country forward. Not every dimwit is meant to be president. |
Politics › Re: UN: North Eastern Nigeria, 3 Other Countries On The Brink Of Famine In 6 Months by Aflix(m): 8:41am On Nov 08, 2020 |
Jidibia: The North feed the nation? Yes, that's because, highest percentage of the food you eat is imported from the North. Except you only eat Italian pizza. The meats, the grains, the yams, vegetables and fruits you feed on are all proceeds from Northern Nigeria. Oil spillage has rendered your land barren so we feed you okay. Ask Buhari to open the border and see if we buy food from you. You guys should stop overstating your importance. Northerners get food from the South as well. |

seborrhic: The great irony and what I even call s tupidity of these Kanu, not Ndigbo supporters,is that they rightfully detest Buhari for his bigotry, clannishness and nepotism, but support a man that is actually doing same thing, not even based on ethnicity, but race. They support a man that support police in their brutality and extra judicial killings. Yet here, they are fighting with the police and rightfully denouncing Buhari for the same atrocity. America's economy got to the highest peak during Trump's administration, The lowest rate of of black Americans unemployment came under Trump, Trump fights against Terrorism e.t.c. If Buhari does half of the Things trump has done, No Nigerian would mind his nepotism and Bigotry. |

The number of security personnel in NO Nigeria is just too low, hence the high rate of insecurity in some parts of the country.
We really need more security personnel in the country.
This further reiterates the how important it is for the country to be restructured. |
