As far as this clime is concerned, you can back out at any point. Nigerian employers can be very manipulative with the recruitment process in some cases and not until resumption you might not get to discover some misery about your new position. I remember getting a job offer to discover its a work from the CEO's apartment thing, also discovered after a month of resumption that he was in a serious financial debt. Walked his ass out of the crisis with my sales team and next boss relieved us of our jobs after some hide and seek of 8 months no salary to me the manager and 4 months of half salary to my team. ( We were making enough to float the coy) He sneaked to a new Lekki office after we were gone but back to his house now.

To be very honest i have never seen any place where that is done. even in private labs, you would still definitely have some explanation
Pierocash:
my question is,why should it be like that?

You conducted a test, you should be the one to explain your discovery. Does it make any sense to carry out investigation ,submit a report and expect the person to go to another ministry for explanation?

Rubbish

We are so out of syllabus in Nigeria. As if teaching those redundant 100yrs old stuffs is not enough crisis, they now infuse cruise in our syllabus by importing online meme and slangs in exams. How bad can it get? every part of the system is dysfunctional

When you get a result you walk to the doc for an explanation stop condemning cos he didn't state any flaw o their part. Some people just chose not to go see a doc or better still want more clarity
Pierocash:
What kind of medical practitioners do we have in this country, how do you give someone a test result without explaining it to the person?

Every discipline in this country is whacked , everybody acting irresponsible ,and senseless.

You need to take a deep breath and really slow your role. Hurting yourself is one thing, damaging your kids is another. Imagine when she gains full custody and can do anything she wishes. I believe she is not just showing all yet, once she gets in your kids will suffer the most. Be really careful as she is really throwing your feelings and concerns into the trash can.

Career / Re: Business Or Handiwork What Should I Do? by Afonjashapmouth: 8:16am On Apr 24, 2021
My Token

Carpentry is lucrative if you can explore the world of social media in as much as your finishing is bam and you don't stop at just the normal Naija local carpentry level. However brother look into little things that are not happening around you and invest into it or sponsor your woman on that if she is reliable. E.g Phone accessories is always lucrative anywhere, anytime no matter the numbers of sellers. That should boost your finance while you wait on a breakthrough in your handwork.

My advice........

It is never too late to change course my brother. As a Nigerian who is a strong believer of working on my own, i started my venture after moving back to this clime but they all seems very slow. We all of course know how starting a whole new IT idea works. Even though my new initiative caught the attention of Zenith bank, but i could not proceed to develop my mobile app on time. After a while, pressure started kicking in from my family on sourcing for some random jobs which i wasn't interested in. To be honest with you, i gave in to the pressure and ventured into some buying and selling ( wasn't easy at first). Mind you i didn't give up on my IT project. Now i have something good going on and hopefully fuel my ambition soon. Please even at 40 or 50, its not too late to change course, 4months might be all it takes to excel in a new venture that fits you. Do a thorough calculation of it all by weighing on the time and specific target plan and not just jumping on it.

More interesting that people under this clime don't know celebrities abroad drive round town and throw wads of cash at fans and people get injured in the process with no charges attached to the act. I have witnessed a few times so cut it
passion007:

Interesting when people think the world is mad like Nigeria.
Try that anywhere else, you will be charged with dangerous driving, your vehicle impounded and then your licence permanently revoked.
