smartsoft:yes i know, still putting up some content kazey:it is based on a template. i an even give you the site of the designer, http://solucija.com. I tried to adapt it to fit my needs. Just because I build a house doesnt mean I cant use a house another man built. And no, it is not a wordpress theme. my2cents:i used that to quickly show how the sites look like, i intend placing an iframe/div to load the actual site on the portfolio page. should be done by evening my2cents:800 x 600 are so yesterday. i agree, i'll reduce them a bit, but now i believe most users should be on 1024x768 at least. I use 1440x900, so i did not consider that. my2cents:yes they do. |
do you have any specific sections you like to implement the google ads? header? panel? by the sides? |
Need some constructive criticisms. http://ibsnigeria.com I belive this is all grown up compared to my learning project @ http://geocities.com/bg_aurora |

I am assuming the poster referencing Frontpage 2008 actually meant Visual Web Developer. As Frontpage is officially dead. VWD is a lovely tool, would have been better than Dreamweaver (been using dreamweaver since version 2) if only it supported more than ASP.NET or had Server behaviours. Dreamweaver tends to be slow unless you have like 2gb ram. Also has some other faults, especially with the HTML is generates. Sometimes bulky. mavtrevor:you obviously havent seen the wonderous works of users of frontpage. |
how many people continued looking for something after they found it? |
i initially posted a joke here, but someone had posted a similar earlier "Mike is Dead" u kids r rude |

I use Starcomms EVDO, I started browsing the night I paid. Set up was easy. I have referred 2 friends to their EVDO services, and they all set up instantly without complaints. And it is not because we are IT guys. My connection is roughly 30kbps, though Starcomms keeps claiming 300kbps+ even when the modem can exceed 115kbps. It was only once, on a sunday morning that I could not get a connection, but when I came back from church, obviously to avoid the wrath of God from the anointing I must have received, my connection came in through. I als use it while on the 3rd mainland bridge, there are only 2 black spots (around where your are just leaving the island) but instantly I am reconnected. Apart from the fact that I have a friend working as a Sales Rep in Starcomms, I do not have any other ties to them. And I do not need to advertise for them. They do not pay me. -- Piece of advice, if you are in the market to purchase a new laptop, and you want to use the EVDO, check if it has a PCMCIA slot (which is disappearing from most laptops nowadays), else you'll have to buy a USB to PCMCIA adapter that will set you back around N35,000 http://9jasite.com - http://nigerianweblogs.net/greg/ |
i use Starcomms EVDO, and I must say it is far from broadband - usually at 30-40kps. Once I achieved 75kbps, but then just once. A friend told me WiMAX providers place a monthly bandwidth limit, e.g u pay for 24 hours unlimited but u must nt exceed 1gigabyte bandwidth transfer in a month. Awful. My EVDO has downloaded almost 4gb within the 11days I've purchased it. I'll stick with it for a while longer, until they bring in new cards |
Hi, am African Boy (obviously) i agree with some comments that fraudsters could easily claim to be who they are not. it happens everywhere, but if you need a referral for brume i'll be willing to give my recommendation., my email is on my profile page or on http://9jasite.com/about/ i have done quite a number of business with brume (all satisfactory till date) |
dhtml - OUCH. no need for that analysis |
i am not looking for Chris, am looking for information about a product the company is offering. if you have it, i'll appreciate it |
i was on the search for a software (presumed written by connect technologies - chris uwaje et al) and i have spent the last hour looking for the website of the company to get more information. just does not seem to exist. what type of "award" winning software company will not even own a site? if they do, and it can't be found, what are they doing in information technology? even the guy does not have a personal site? |
i was somewhere in the middle |
And some shall pass away. And some shall rise and take their place. |

I joined Nairaland on January 30, 2006, then it had approximately 12,000 members, of which less than 3000 were active posters. Compared with today, 153,753 members, must really be an achievement. I remember when members virtually celebrated the coming on board of the 20,000th member. Then people started looking forward to the the 25,000th member, then 30,000th member. With any system that has an increase in member numbers, its bound to face some form of corruption of ideals. Nowadays, you can hardly make a post without someone replying with an insult. Is it necessary, must you reply? Many of the "old timers" on Nairaland seem to have "disappeared". Is it unconnected to the inflow of "new generation" nairalanders? I don't think so. There were times I spent a whole working day on Nairaland, but now I just visit once in two weeks - watching, reading and leaving. Even the RSS feed system has been disabled by Seun. Since I can't keep track of new posts, I am left with no choice but to read posts that make the front page, I am left to the discretion of the owner of the forum. Nairaland's editorial policy became non transparent. Then, you were notified of an error and allowed to make amendments. Last time, I had an infraction, the post just went poof. No notification, except the mail that said it had been deleted. What happened to Nairaland? Got too big for its own good? Or have I just been away for too long? --- Please, if you feel like replying with an insult, I beg you not to. Use another thread. |
hmm, seems like u just shouted. |

in his words, he would have bought a hummer, but since he seems to be settling for a geely (relatively unknown car), i guess he has not "hammered" yet. |
