^ well, my pastor is African not indian/pakistani. the 2 AA girls on the train were talking about Africans, not indians/pakistanis. |

for the first time, Dark & Lovely has chosen an African to represent the brand. Nonhle Thema, South African TV personality. she's GORGEOUS. she looks like lark voorhies- the black girl from Saved By the Bell. Here she is at her recent birthday party wearing Dark & Lovely's official colors.

africanancestry.com actually tells you what ethnic group u may be from. other DNA testing company just tell u what continent u may be from. let me know if u want a link to my article. it tells how some folks got started in their roots search. |
quote from oyinda:but we eat naija food abroad and there's no smell- not that i know of. maybe not using deodorant does have something to do with it. |
angelina- UNattractive, annoying, arrogant, rude (she disowned her own father!) all those pics posted, EWWWWW ![]() aish- beautiful, sweet, lovely, family-oriented, great smile |
beautiful body. i love the hairstyle. her face is nothing to write home about |
why do people say jjc Africans smell?? my pastor (born and raised in 9ja) said in a sermon one sunday that whenever he returns from a trip back home, he takes 5 showers to wash off the smell. almost everyone laughed becuz they knew what he was talking about. some time ago, i heard 2 AA girls on a train talking about how bad newly arrived africans smell. i haven't noticed any smell from JJC africans to the U.S. what is this smell that pple are talking about? just curious |
beautiful beautiful. that village on the lake was nice. poster, do u know k24, the tv station? |
u are such an amazing writer. your story is easy to read, has a good flow, and it's hilarious!!!! wow, what a nice read. well-suited title. |
the words are really really passionate, but it's all over the place. soo many random references that come out of nowhere- eagles, drunk driver, pheasants, wind coiling its tail. the first 2 lines are illogical. i do love the 4th stanza. |
JMAN, there's an AA genealogy society in VA. it's a big one. first start by joining that group. they'll teach u how to trace ur family genealogy. the research does take time. secondly, if you want shortcut, do a DNA sample test for $300. it's really popular nowadays. africanancestry.com has the largest database of DNA samplings of indigenous africans. celebrites are now doing this: oprah, danny glover, forest witaker, chris rock, chris tucker, t.d. jakes DNA will give you an idea of what ethnic groups in africa share some of ur DNA. |
quote from siena: please, don't even try that with me. me-- the promoter and lover of dark skin beauty? me --who adores the dark skin of my gorgeous sisters? u obviously didn't understand my post. i asked how can she be described as an ebony beauty becuz she's not ebony. and if i were "of the notion that fair equals attractive" i wouldn't have described rita as unattractive. but she is UNattractive (my opinion). |
elegantly funky and global: sleek skinny jeans, ankara tops, super high waist "hippie" jeans, open toe flat "afrocentric" sandals, indian sarongs, tight black turtlenecks, chinese brocade vests, tall headscarves, chunky wooden necklaces, gypsy style skirts |
i adore her. i can't wait to see her when she speaks at my university next april!!!!! |
this poem is kinda all over the place. too many random metaphors. no focus. hard to understand. why are you writing in Queen's English? you get an A for effort, though ![]() |
