Which implied He drank water. If he ate or drank anything with calories He wouldn't be hungry.

Fasting has to do with preparing of the mindset spiritually as we re little gods. Spirits in human skins. Eating, drinking is waved out of the exercise and strictly u take ur time of fast.

While fasting, u pray. The moment u deprive urself of certain tins, you have to be spiritually closer to the voice of God. Spiritually we all know drinking water is doubtfully not good but the flesh pushes one to ask.
