First all of you non Lagosians I think you should first go and criticize your Governors and laugh at your states before you interfere in a state that yours can not be like even in the next ten years.
Governor Fashola that Amnesty boy is just doing his work,if he no make noise no money for am.
Pls sir concentrate on the good people of Lagos-who acknowledge your works, ignore the detractors.
God bless you Sir Fashola

Lagos state environment special task force should work on this, this is an environmental and security risk.
The state security apparatus must be vigilant.undercover detectives and secret agents should be planted in ghetto areas and places where crowd of people stay, for the enemy hides within the crowd-slums should be discouraged in the city, for criminals and terrorists hide in slums.

Lagos state is a novel state,it truly represents what a state in a federation like Nigeria should be.
Our federal system of Governance gives every state the right to an assembly, who can create laws by a concession of the majority in the house representing the people of Lagos.
On this premise I say the people blaming Fashola should get themselves aquainted with a copy of the Lagos state statutes.
In America some state accept homosexuality, some don't.
Some state like texas still use the death penalty some don't.
IT IS A MATTER OF THE LAW.
Fashola did not create all the laws of Lagos,Fashola did not create one Law in Lagos.
Most of the people complaining are not even Lagosians.
If you are coming to somebody's house you must humble yourself and live within their laws.
Touting and miscreants have been prohibited in the streets of Lagos for sanity and safety of citizens according to its statutes.
I was born in this great city of Lagos, and I say Kudos to the most Objective, intelligent governor-Sir Fashola.
We all know that Lagos state is very important to Nigeria-it holds our international gateways,it host the best hotels and fancy places that host international businessmen and tourists, and most of the head offices of international companies are situated in Lagos, and these Companies pay back VAT and WTH taxes to the federal government coffers.
Every Nigerian should respect and pray for Lagos to grow into a world class city-for the respect, prosperity and brand image of Nigeria.
The development and sanity of Lagos is a testament of good leadership, the value of Lagos today is much than it was before your arrival in office, indeed you are making huge profits for the state.
Sir we all know that in Nigeria there are more mediocres than men of intergrity and most of them are men of selfish desires that tend to seek only their benefit and that of their political affilliations.
Ride on sir,the good people of Lagos are with you,the laws of Lagos are on your side, and our federal constitution supports you.
God bless you sir...Eko'Oni bajeoo
Long live the federal republic of Nigeria.

Charbless: Lagos on News Again?
If you don't have anything better to say shut ur mouth.
We all know that judge was compromised...this is beyond Abiola's family-Lagos state does not condone injustice.
Nuff respect to fashola for this.
To dumb Amnesty international-this is a federal nation and each state has a right to proscribe laws to effect peace, security, stability and serenity-Amnesty has no right to interfere in Lagos state carrying out its laws.
All nuiscance and beggars in the streets of Lagos must be rehabilitated.

Stop sounding like a domestic animal...what is wrong in fighting for justice?
Are you the lawyer?
Are you the one paying the legal fees?
Or you are just a mediocre Nigerian that condones impunity, corruption and injustice...
People like you that condones and supports injustice are the cause of all these violence and criminality we see in Nigeria today.
God does not like injustice, and God use men to fight good fights.

PropertiesFashola Construct Mass Housing For The Youths-lagos Born Youths Are Homeless. by Afroconnect(op):
Dear Governor Fashola,I must commend you sir for your objectivity and intelligence on governance. The almighty Jehovah will bless you with more wisdom and shield you from the enemy's snare...Amen.
Sir,there is an urgent need for the construction of mass housing estates for Nigerian youths working legitimately and paying taxes in Lagos state.
Lekki expressway, ikorudu and ibeju Lekki should be targeted to cover the whole areas.
Landlords are only concerned about maximizing profits, therefore this critical sector ought not be left to private investors and business men property owners alone.
If the state can invest in mass housing estates to compete with the Landlords, they will be forced to reduce the price of tenement in Lagos.
In Lekki axis for example,an ordinary self contain goes for 400thousand naira/year on average-if the State government can build mass housing estates and let out a self contain in Lekki areas for 200thousand inclusive of all fees,it will go a long way to alleviate the sufferings of the youths.
The youth can save more and invest in Lagos state, create employment through his business and contribute to the overall GDP of the state.
This is how we can spread wealth round the state-by making the necessities affordable for the masses.
youths delve into criminality because of the high cost of living in Lagos, most youths rob and commit fraud just to get money to rent a house.let us stop beating about the bush and do the needful sir.Food and shelter are important for human development, and the human resource is the greatest resource of a nation.
your's faithfully

Fashola build mass housing estates for the youths in Lekki,Ikeja and mainland areas of the state.accommodation is so expensive.if the youths can get nice miniflats in Lekki axis for 200thousand naira a year I think it will help and as well compete with the Landlords.pls build storey buildings for upcoming youths-these landlords are ripping us or you want us to live with our parents forever.
The only buildings I see are for the rich or those with rich parents or girls hussling rich old corrupt politicians.

EmmyDe25: Well, i really dont know where to start from because i dont know exactly which planet am on presently. I am a batch A corps member serving in Lagos state. For over a month now i've being on the look out for an apartment around the Ogba axis of Lagos state. Fortunately or unfortunately for me i was finally able to get a room yesterday 07/8 through an agent. After inspecting the room and was convinced with what i saw, i told the agent i was going to bring the money before dusk. Leaving his office i headed straight down to the First bank branch at Ogba, along Ijaiye road to clear all the money i had in my account. Heading home, i passed through the estate where access/keystone bank is sited. Lo and behold, i saw a gang of 7 guys besieging me, before i knew anything they brought out a gun asking me to bring out the money i withdrew frm the ATM. Wanting to shout but the sight of a gun seized my voice. After giving them the money, i was told to run and never look back. Didnt know how i got home, and since then my head has been filled with all sort of thoughts. Dont know where am going to start from... Feel so terrible!
If you have a suspect, hola me-will come with you with soldiers...shoot the fool legs up.
Nairaland GeneralBigmanilism Syndrome and hypocrisy Killing Nigerians... by Afroconnect(op):
Its very funny how some people reason in this country, pls I know its your right to reason how you like, but its also my right to be amused by ur reasoning.
1.Some Nigerian Ladies,(especially the myopic and vain ones )see big stomach as a sign of wealth.this to me is very funny, every reasonable person knows carrying a huge mass of fat in front of you is a huge discomfort.it also leads to laziness and strain in their metabolism, cos naturally a fat man will eat more than a slim person, and this in itself is unhealthy.some people can not even talk short walks, they believe that if they have money they should always be inside AC as a status.wise people are spending money jogging and doing sports to get fit, going out and getting some sunlight.pls I would advice you make some research and help yourself out if you fall in this category-it is disease you are carrying around.
2)Short sightedness and mediocrity:it is appalling how Nigerians will support a criminal during elections for 5000naira and later turn around and complain of bad leadership, corruption and so forth.you sold your child's future, sold your security, sold your respect among the committee of nations for 5000naira...shameful.
Nigerians time to wise up na now,its better to endure a lil more and enjoy later ooh, support good men of intergrity for better tomorrow,a Nigeria where we go dey chop yanfu yanfu.
God bless Nigeria, bless Africa, bless the world.

7thCANON: Fellow Nigerians, It is evident that some unscrupulous foreign elements are bent on destabilizing our nation. Any further attempt, or attempted attempt shall be met with great resistance. I trust our gallant soldiers and officers who are capable of handling the situation. Just wondering, why are the propaganda international media houses (Aljazeera, CNN, BBC etc) not carrying such news? Well, there is more to many things happening in Nigeria than what meets the eye.
You see clearly brother-God bless you.
Nigerians it is true,do not believe UN,Amnesty or the west "Democracy"-its all about interest for them.
God bless our Military, only God and our Armed forces can save Nigeria, may God enrich the Miltary leaders with wisdom and bless us with good, wise leaders.
PoliticsRe: WHO, Boko-Haram's Doctor Arrested by Afroconnect: 11:43am On Aug 10, 2013
I have always known amnesty is an unscrupulous organisation-selling out to the highest bidder.
Nigerian government should learn to ignore amnesty and even sanction them for working with the enemy.we should be careful, all these amnesty and co are tools which the enemies use to smear our military and now they are directly working with the enemy.
Nigerian military should keep a close watch on these organisations and diplomats as well-they are all infiltrators and spies, used by the west and the rich extremist arabs.
To hell with amnesty.
Amnesty does not talk when Saudi Arabia aid Bahrain to kill innocent protesters.
Amnesty does not talk when American government uses force to quell protest.
Amnesty does not critize the Saudi Arabian Dynasty-which is an authoritarian rule neither do they critize Qatar.
Nigeria wake up Amnesty is a sham,a tool of manipulation.
