TrebleChamp: Doc Ronaldo is not finished at the top, he will score goals in any League at his current age. If he joins Mancity at Age 50 playing under a Pep, Ancelotti, Mourinho, even Ole 😁 he will still score a minimum of 20 goals a season 😎. I am not arguing that he does not have quality. My point is that scoring goals in Saudi League is not evidence of that quality. If Georges-Kevin Nkoudou could do it, and Abderazak Hamdallah could do it, and Talisca could dominate in that league why should CR7 not do it? Bafetimbi Gomis at 35-36 was scoring 27 and 24 goals in Saudi league na. Even Odion Ighalo that scored 0 league goal for us is averaging 0.8 goals per game in Saudi. |

You can't compare Case to CR7...
Many of you here vilified CR7, and at his age he's still churning out better performances than you average favs in this club... Context is key. Nkoudou and Talisca are averaging nearly 1 goal per game in Saudi League. If Nicholas Jackson or Wout Weghorst should catch those Saudi defenders, na glorious exit. |

Jokerman: Are you talking of Ronaldo snd Messi that destroyed all European leagues, or which??
If what they are doing is easy even at their ages, Rooney, Hazard, Dinho etc, won't have retired early...
So let's appreciate them, especially a UTD legend like CR7 Bruv, that is exactly the reason why it is not news. CR7 and Messi are such GOOT candidates that the news would be if they were flopping in those jeun jeun leagues. If Casemiro can go and play well in Saudi league, why would CR7 and Messi not go there and dominate? Just 18 months ago Messi was the best player at a World Cup. Why should it be news or surprising that he is dominating MLS. Just 2 years ago CR7 was scoring 18 league goals in the EPL why should it be surprising that he is dominating Saudi League? Bradley Wright-Phillips is a legendary MLS goal scorer. Nkoudou that took 94 games to score 19 goals in Turkish league is dominating Saudi League. Level of competition matters and CR7 and Messi are only rightfully dominating those moi moi leagues. |

ChristoBam: I believe people said he was done at the top level. He's in Saudi now. So I don't understand the update like he just scored in this UCL night.
We're all saying Casemiro looks finished. Which league are we saying he should be sold to? So if he drops mad performances back to back there, you go come drop update too? Penduists are very fanatical and illogical. This is like when one Messianic cultist was hyping Messi's performance in the MLS the other day. They too are fanatical and illogical. Saudi league that Nkoudou is averaging nearly a goal a game. The same Nkoudou that was shipped out from Premier League after 0 goal in nearly 20 games. Saudi league that Treble wants us to offload Casemiro to because he is over the hill, that is the league he is now using to boast? |

Take it that you dont like Bellingham. Why though?
Think he's alright if you dont buy into the plenty hype typical of new English young stars He is a good player but the hype is insane. He is getting the level of adulation he does not deserve in my opinion. For a midfielder he does not do enough to control a game or create for others. When he is not scoring he struggles to influence games. |

Maybe things have changed now, but back in the day most people who got dubious results in WAEC did dubious things to get those results. For JAMB however you can get a dubious result for no reason, and you can’t explain or defend yourself.
That’s what I mean by dubious. Outside exam malpractice, WAEC results were logical. JAMB results however had no rhyme or reason. |

popizaino: Crossing with your weaker foot is not something difficult for 99.9% of players. I can do it even though am right footed, most amateurs can do it. Using it during the cause of the game like Carzola and Pedro is not something you can see too often like right footed playing crossing with their left leg. Pedro at a point was comfortably mounting the RWF position and driving in with his left. Car Carzola and Pedro are the most dominant ambidextrous players i have seen. Dribbling with your weaker foot and taking free kicks with your weaker foot are even more difficult than crossing with your weaker foot. You rarely see ambidextrous players doing either of those things successfully and consistently, because it is so difficult. That list is not complete without Andreas Brehmer, Pavel Nedved, Bobby Charlton. Sneijder too was quite two-footed. |

Jodera: It's not about the misses being way more glaring. It's about scoring.
Give Torres one on one with GK during his Chelsea days, he might dribble GK and miss. Give him same chance again and he'll score.
Give Jackson three 1v1 with GK and I can wager that he'll miss ALL Bruv, Torres averaged 6 league goals a season throughout his stay for a dominant Chelsea team that was competing for titles. He missed chances again, and again, and again. That na why the team would be scoring 70 to 75 goals, and he will be dropping 6 goals. The chance he missed against us shocked me so much that every time i watch the replay i still expect him to score. |

nihilistjnr: Going by his stats, Onana makes 1 bad touch in 2 games, and is only dispossessed once in 3 games.
His pass completion rate of 85% is actually very respectable in a direct ball Sean Dyche team, that only knows nasa and budey.
I also don't watch Everton that much, so you might well be right. But his numbers don't shout Bakayoko to me. I am just looking at the eye test the few times I have watched him. Those stats you quoted are good. Might be different if he is the CDM of a possession-heavy side, who is tasked with helping build up play though. Also, how many passes is he making? What is the variation in his passing? If he running box to box and laying it off short most of the time his stats might be misleading. He is someone that many United fans want because of his physical superiority but I just have some doubt about him technically. |

BlueRayDick: I don't know why people are not seeing that Onana for who he is. That guy don use sweat deceive a lot of people . Even Arsenal fans dey recommend am as replacement for Party; I just shake my head . Onana definitely has Bakayoko characteristics. The only difference is that he is way more athletic, however his touch and his awareness, and hence his ability to receive the ball on the half turn are quite suspect. He looks like somebody who will be vomiting the ball under pressure, like a pregnant woman. I don't watch Everton a lot, so i can't say for sure. One thing that is obvious though that because he is a physical mismatch for almost any midfielder, he will be great for a team that plays on the transition. He is not even a similar player to Partey. Partey's injury just phucked him up. Africa normally does not produce players with his qualities. |
