We don’t have that depth unfortunately.
Take him off and bring Rasmus on. Mainoo, McTom, Bruno midfield. If Amrabat does not cause a goal soon he will cop a red card. He is playing like someone who is just recovering from general anesthesia.

They said it’s because he’s not match fit.
People who are not match fit don't play full games so let's take him off early, at around 45 min mark.

Is this not the same Ambrabat many of our supporters were criticizing ETH for not playing. He had two 'okay' performances and our people quickly jumped on that wagon. Some were already saying he must be bought permanently. Sometimes I think we, the fans, are part of the problems.
Amrabat gives us a better structure in midfield because of the TYPE of midfielder he is. The problem is that he is a low-quality version of that type of midfielder. We need someone like him at CDM but with much better quality.

Amrabat should not come out for the 2nd half.

We are losing factories and gaining churches. It looks like Nigerians' reward is in heaven.

Yes. Also, our ladies were not interested in the game after the FA Cup win. Half of them are still hungover after the manager made the silly decision to give them days off after the FA Cup final.

I agree with u that burden is too high when it comes to getting conviction for medical negligence even in the advanced world . But then, in a country like Nigeria steeper punishments should be meted out to doctors like this woman upon conviction.

I followed this case back then and I remember that shortly after FCPCC stepped in to shut down her clinic , some bloggers who were on her case actually reported that she was still taking bookings for surgery and she actually did carried out surgeries at her friends’ clinics while her clinic was shut down during investigation.

Imagine such level of disregard for the laws of the land. The bloggers had to keep shouting that it appears she has backings in higher places because how will u be in the news for medical negligence that led to death and u are still taking more surgery bookings illegally ?

For that fact alone , I feel the judge should’ve slammed her with a more severe sentencing terms
The family should lodge a civil suit. That is where the real punishment comes from. That and censorship by the medical council.

The first question that people should be asking is what did the medical council do about the case.

The second question is when is the civil case.

Unfortunately, I don’t think she broke the law by working in a different clinic as it was her clinic that was shut down not her as an individual.

I suspect that fine was codified during the days of Gowon and has not been reviewed since.

Maybe u are right doc ,I just feel when a life is lost due to professional negligence one year prison sentence with option of fine less than $100 is a slap on the wrist considering the gravity of the matter .

I guess the key takeaway from all of this is that let one be careful about some of these life changing decisions . The victim of the botch surgery is dead and gone now, she only left her family members with grieve that won’t leave them soon even with this so called “justice “ at the courts
The truth is that in most countries it is difficult to obtain a conviction in a criminal case for medical negligence. I do not know the specific details of this case but you will rarely see a doctor jailed for an error in treatment. The burden of proof is just too high, and practically every medical procedure carries the risk of life-changing or even life-ending complications.

The way most medical negligence cases go is that the medical council in that jurisdiction would likely suspend or cancel that doctors registration and take away the right to practice AND then the civil courts will impose compensatory and punitive damages.

Those two processes have a lower burden of proof. The criminal case almost never goes satisfactorily for the plaintiffs.

What we term justice in this country is crazy mehn!

I don’t know if anybody remembers this lady’s story ; Dr Anu. She performed a botched plastic surgery on a lady who ended in the mortuary.

She has been convicted and was sentenced to one year imprisonment with the option of N100,000.00 fine .

Omo! the fine for killing somebody due to professional negligence no even pass 67 dollars 🤦‍♂️( at the rate of N1,500/ 1$)

https://punchng.com/breaking-lagos-court-convicts-cosmetic-surgeon-adepoju-over-clients-death/

At this point , make everybody mount their guard make person no go die carelessly and they will insult the person’s memory by giving useless justice in the court
That was the criminal case I believe. It is usually difficult to prosecute those cases even in developed countries and convictions are even more difficult because the burden of proof is so high.

I don’t know what the situation is with the Nigerian civil law code, but the best resort is usually for the family to file a civil suit asking for compensation and punitive damages from the doctor.

Na Arsene Wenger introduce dat term.

Like A New Signing. Those players that are always injured so that every new season the coach and fans think that having them back is like having a new signing.

Shaw and Reece James are LANS players. Abou Diaby was the original LANS player.

You are also right, but some employers no send u. They care less about where u stay ; in such instances the onus is on u to arrange for a friend or relative or colleague who stays close to ur work place whom u can crash with for those days.

I remember around 2009/2010 when I used to go hustle around that Ikorodu side . Places like Imota and other towns on the outskirts of Ikorodu will do their traditional festival for one full week ( I think they call it Eluku or something like that ). For that one week , they will just ground economic activities unnecessarily . I used to wonder if people working in banks and other modern offices will take one full week leave or their employers will just allow them stay off work without consequences .
I have heard of poverty alleviation program, but this one is poverty elevation program. Black man needs help.

During this offseason, the OKC need to find another starter that can score, preferably a guard.

They also have to figure out a rotation that includes a Center so Chet can exploit his scoring offense and reduce the defensive burden.
This is another evidence that the regular season is different to the playoffs. Looks like nobody else on the team can even create his own shot, yet they bagged the No1 seed.

At 28, he is at a good age for the kind of experience striker we need at the moment. If the new board can negotiate a decent fee (say £70m) and salary, it would be great for the team. Skysports reported United could sign Fulham Defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer this summer, i don't know how good he is but he will be joining on a free.
Yeah i am not saying we should not go for him, just saying it will not be cheap.

Champions league side for how long?

Newcastle did it last season but they’ve bottomed out.

I don’t see Villa qualifying for UCL next season. They might nick a spot in Europe though. Maintaining that top position is difficult.
During negotiations his agent won't look at it that way. His view would be "my player has to be adequately compensated if you guys want him to forego what might be his only chance of playing Champions League football".
