I don't believe in any of those gods but i don't press people's necks to convince them to join me. Pressing people's necks to believe in a god or not to believe in a god is wrong. People should leave other people's necks alone and allow them to breathe.

in the bible that is REJECTED by the Jews
There are several non-biblical sources that verify a historical Kingdom of Israel and a historical Kingdom of Judah. Whether those kingdoms existed is not in doubt. The riddle that people have been unsuccessfully trying to solve is whether those distant claims trump the more recent claims of the Palestinian Arabs.

At this point i think trying to determine whose claim is stronger is a waste of time. They are both there now and have to try to find a way to co-exist without trying to annihilate each other.

Talking about who God has blessed , They make bastarrrd money from tourism allowing people access to historic places mentioned in the New Testament ( The same New Testament they don’t believe in o)

And they already know their Arab Neighbors will always curse them, they use wisdom invest in military research and technology which enables them deal with those curses in appropriate manner .

If they are talking about people that have suffered the most in world history Jews will make Top 3. In terms of length and severity of suffering they have seen the ultimate. Their god has a strange way of blessing them.

But what Israel is doing is no different from what Nigeria's army does in the SE. UGM attacks and goes into hiding amongst the locals and the army in retaliation ransacks a whole community.

The people condemning the NA are supporting Israel. UGM should go after the army and when the army comes, they should face them headlong and not hide under innocent civilians. Guerrilla warfare is very difficult, the only way to inflict damage on the other side is to go in hard on them even if they use civilians as shields without which you will hardly score a point against them because they come in when your guards are down, inflict maximum damage and go back hiding in civilian populated areas...

Innocent civilians will suffer and sadly so...

How did the Arabs so thoroughly fk up what should have been a straightforward military operation? Especially as in the beginning, the western world had no skin in the game
In the initial war in 1947-1948 even though the Palestinians and Arabs had a larger population the Israelis had far more soldiers. I think this was where the eternal fuk up happened. Also the Israelis appeared to have tactical superiority over most of them apart from the Jordanians who had a badass commander, which is why Israel couldn’t conquer the West Bank at that time.

In the subsequent wars though Israel had developed into a military state with tactical and weapons superiority and with the backing of the western world.

.....Doc. My posts are still there. Ain't a type that deletes posts and no where in my posts I celebrated killings of Isreal Civilians.

Yes... I posted flags to show my support for Palestine coz they've been going through a lot under Israel.
Yes your posts are there and not once did you condemn the killing of innocent Israelis in the initial attacks. Most of the Israelis that were killed were innocent civilians going about their daily business far away from military formations. There was no condemnation from you only celebration and commenting that Hezbollah will join if Hamas can’t handle the Israelis. Now you are lamenting about dead Palestinian civilians. E no enter.

Secondly those maps you keep posting serve as an ode to Palestinian stupidity. The reason those maps changed over the years is that the Palestinians and their allies attacked the Israelis.

In 1947-48 when the Palestinians rejected the partition plan and fought about it they lost most of their land.

In 1967 when Egypt, Syria, Jordan fought Israel they lost Gaza Strip, Golan Heights, West Bank to Israel.

The main reason that map has changed in Israel’s favour from the initial partition map of 1947 is Palestinian/Arab aggression. The only time the Palestinians have gained significant territory is when it was handed over to them through peaceful negotiations. So if you want to blame anybody for the map changing you need to blame the Palestinians and their allies.

Isreal is bombing residential buildings in Gaza, killing innocent old men, women and children but that ain't a crime cos its simply retaliation and Oasis feeling sympathy for them is a waste - according to my good bruh, Obaino.
I saw your initial responses to the Hamas invasion of Israel in which hundreds of innocent civilians were killed but you didn’t for once condemn those actions but rather celebrated them. In fact your first post responding to the news was one of multiple Palestinian flags. It is therefore quite strange for you to be lamenting about Israelis killing civilians.

Where was the outrage when Hamas was seeking out and killing civilian Israelis including babies just a few days ago? You can’t have it both ways. You can’t applaud the killing of civilians from one side and then lament when it goes the other way. That is the very definition of crocodile tears. And e no dey work again.

What I gleaned from the reading is that the whole issue of this conflict was fueled by Britain. They used the area due to its religious significance as a negotiation tool.
Firstly, you should have seen that most of it happened before the Holocaust and even before Hitler came to power.

Britain in its desperation to defeat the Ottoman Empire during the First World War (not the Second) started making VAGUE and fantastic promises to everybody, and the extremist factions of both groups ran with extremist interpretations of those promises.

The context long gan my brother.

A long long time ago, Popi, in trying to find a way for Ziyech to thrive at Chelsea, declared that left footed wingers must be played on the left wing. That’s how Ziyech’s crosses will be effective, he said.

We told him that that was old school thinking. Inverted wingers are the new thing. And it gets more results than the old fashioned cross and nod winger. Full backs can provide width and cross the ball.

Popi disagreed. Since then he always mentions me whenever a left foot winger scores or provides an assist from the left side. Or if a right winger does the same thing.
I remember this argument. The guy too stubborn. grin

The moment teams started playing with a single striker the days of orthodox wingers were numbered.
Crossing is a highly inefficient way of creating chances and it becomes even more inefficient with 1 striker instead of 2.

Let me firstly state that I am not in support of the actions of Hamas but I just like opinions and claims to be based on fact. Almost every part of your first paragraph in that post I quoted is false.

Before we can have a proper discussion on the facts of the matter I would like you to read in detail about the Balfour Declaration, the Damascus Protocol, the McMahon-Hussein correspondence, and the Peel Commission.

After you have read about all the above you can come back and tell me what you think of your own statement that the British offered Palestine to the Jews as compensation for what Hitler did to them.

Israel Zion Movement were offered Palestine by the British who colonised the area as compensation for what they suffered during the Holocaust. But instead of occupying they went in and bought the land from the nomads living there. After selling their land and other religiopolitical groups realising that Israel is building a state, they decided to declare war on Israel.

Israel defeated all those nations and decided to occupy their territory. Though they later released those territories on a peace treaty, yet the dissident fake Arabs called Palestines (they are not really Palestine) chose to violate the peace treaty and continue fighting for a land that does not belong to them both in the past and present.

Saladin once asked, 'what is in Jerusalem?'

Israel should just silence those terrorist groups once and for all.
When i read things like Britain offering Palestine to the "Israel Zion Movement" as a compensation for the holocaust and the Jews subsequently buying the land from "nomads" it tells me you don't know what you are talking about. cheesy

Jude does not even start in midfield anymore. Usually a combination of 3 of Modric Kroos Tchoameni Valverde Camavinga do the midfield work. While Jude plays a free role or moves

I have seen Jude start in a front 2

There is no way Lampard would have worked in La liga. He needs a sterile striker who is okay with letting him hug the limelight like Drogba Heskey or Joselu to thrive

How Lampard wan score when Messi and Etoo dey team.

How many times you don see Barcelona play without a good attacker that knows how to score
Jude Bellingham is Dele Alli with increased sliders.
He can’t control a midfield as a CM but as a runner into the box he has the technique, timing, finishing to be a steady supply of goals. If you play him as a CM he will run and leave his primary duty.

So, how do we hold them accountable?

Infact, using this case of Tinubu and CSU, how should we hold him accountable?
Even you had to confess the other day that this CSU case left you confused, and that is after listening to all the experts on Nigerian TV and listening to/reading the deposition, neither of which I have done so you can be rest assured that your understanding of the case is greater than mine.

One thing to remember though at this point is that this case is now out of the hands of the common man like you and i. The courts are the ones that will determine the outcome not the people.

Holding leaders accountable in my mind is about elections, journalism, social activism, and putting public pressure on leaders in terms of their policies and other activities (embezzlement, inordinately exorbitant government salaries and costs). This CSU matter to me is just a distraction from the hardship people are facing. Atiku and his people have got it covered. He is looking after his own interests so I think the people should also focus on their own interests.

I don't think anybody here is demonising that statement to be honest, they are just calling out the hypocrisy of people who tell them to hold leaders accountable, but still attack them for calling the leaders to account. Was it not on this same Nairaland people were being insulted for criticising Buhari Govt for 8 wasted years? Why tell people to hold their leaders accountable, then insult the people for trying to criticise the leaders actions because you support that leader or party?
Oh ok. Well you have a point if people are being insulted or attacked for criticising the government, I however think the focus should be on putting pressure on the government. This other stuff seems to me to be really just a distraction, but that is me assessing things from a long distance away. It has been nearly a decade since I visited the country.

Because majority of people on this thread saying hold your leaders accountable, are the same people supporting the bad leaders and attacking those who want to hold the leaders accountable. It is called hypocrisy in English
Whether a leader is bad or good he needs to be held accountable. So asking “these are the kind of leaders we are meant to hold accountable” shouldn’t come into it. Even if the leader was a mix of Jesus/Mohammed/Otem/Bertrand Russell/Marcus Aurelius, you still have to hold him or her accountable.

Also if you claim majority of the people saying hold leaders accountable are supporting bad leaders, you are implying that the ones supporting perceived good leaders don’t want leaders to be held accountable, which we both know is not the case.

All leaders need to be held accountable. Whether perceived to be bad or good. I don’t think that statement should be demonised the way it has been here. Unless you see it as a bad thing and want to stop holding them accountable, there is no point focusing on that statement. The focus should actually be on putting pressure on them and actually holding them accountable.

I would have perused the deposition document myself, but what would i really do with the information? Tinubu is President and i don't believe Supreme Court will remove him, even if it is eventually proven he didn't graduate but forged his certificate.

This are the leaders we are told to hold accountable.....
You have a right and option not to hold them accountable though. It is actually not compulsory.

How people have demonised holding leaders accountable on this forum must be one of the wonders of the modern world.
