Ijesha, Ekiti, Ìjẹ̀bú and Egba dialects are not really hard. I understand them perfectly well.

It's those Ondo dialects and Okun people of Kogi's I consider very very hard
This is correct.

There are levels to difficulty. Ijesha might be hard for you to speak as a non-Ijesha but if spoken to you there will be a good level of understanding. Compare that to some dialects in Ondo State and Kogi where they will plan to sell you off into slavery while standing beside you and you won't have a clue at all.

Ife, Ijesha, Ekiti are relatively close. I couldn't differentiate between Ijesha and Ekiti when i was a kid.

Is Tengrism and Shamalism the same religion ?and Buddhism was name as part of Mongolia empire religion.

My argument was that we are always at the mercy of powerful Individual/State/Nation.
Yes Tengrism is the particular form of Shamanism that the Mongols practiced. The Tengrism Genghis and his people practiced was definitely not Buddhism which is a Dharmic religion that developed in a different part of the world.

I was just highlighting that difference and also noting that Christianity and Islam are the 2 main religious that significantly used violence to spread the belief in their deity. Genghis killed millions not to spread the worship of his own god but because he wanted people to submit to him. Even the Persians did not conquer other countries to spread the worship of Ahura Mazda but instead were very tolerant in terms of religion. This is one of the reasons why they allowed the Jews to return to Jerusalem from their Babylonian captivity.

Exactly. Good friends will always do you good and you can intimate them in toto about the ins and outs as well as the ups and downs of your life.

For example, I am sure you have made many good friends since you got to Australia. You must have penetrated deeply into Aussie society.

Talking about this, I met an Afghan who fled the Taliban in Kabul for the first time last week and I instantly knew she must be a descendent of the Mongols. Those guys knacked anything in their path without recourse or remorse. There’s a crazy estimate that them devils on horseback single-handedly lowered the earth’s temperature due to the amount of people they killed.

I also then realized i had subconscious biases because I only expect Arab-looking or black people to be Muslim but she was a Muslim whilst being facially indistinguishable from Michelle Yeoh grin

Afghanistan has real diversity which i found really intriguing
Yeah the Mongols were consummate knackists especially Genghis Khan himself. For a relatively small population they caused a lot of damage and spread their seed far.

The native Afghans are of Iranian stock but have major Turkic and minor Mongolic, Arab, Indian and even distant Greek admixture. That your Afghan gf might have gotten her appearance from her Turkic ancestors and not the Mongols. Did you ask her for her ethnic group?

1. Prophet Muhammad (saw) mother was from Medina. And Medina is partly Arab and Jew I think there are some Christian.

2. He migrated to medina because of prosecution from the polytheist in mecca, though he has instructed some of his follower to migrate to Abbysinia

3. How can a man with little follower as she claimed conquer large number of people ?
He was welcome in to Medina with fanfare because he has already has some follower in Medina

4. Their is a war which claimed most of prophet follower due to sabotage of the Jew that was when they have problem. I think the tax thy are paying is equivalent to zakkat which Muslim pay

5. The yom Kippur fasting she is referring to is equivalent to Ashura and Tasura fasting, (it is a celebration of the day the Israelite freed from the bondage of Pharaoh) it is an obligatory fasting as we have 13,14,15 of every Islamic month and Monday and Thursday fasting of every week. Ramadan is compulsory

She did not talked how Islam was wiped out of Spain by Ferdinand and Isabella.

Lastly civilization was build on human blood
and you cannot take civilization away from religion.
Buddhist did their own through the mongol
Zoroastian through Persian empire
Christian with Holy roman empire
Islam with the Caliphate
The Mongols were not Buddhist and they generally didn’t wage religious wars or really bother what religion their subjects were as long as they submitted.

She forgot to mention that the Christians oppressed the Jews more than the Muslims did. That is why when the Rashidun army captured Jerusalem it was a Christian city. The Christians had killed and chased out most of the Jews.

Her history is very distorted.

Firstly she says Muhammad could only recruit his family and friends to his religion in the first 12 years.

Then Muhammad went to Medina to convince the Jews to join him.

The Jews refused, then he began to kill them and then Jews and Christians became second class citizens. Then Islam began to grow.

So my questions are:

1) How did a man that just had his family as members suddenly have the nerve, and resources to start killing people? Something she has indirectly admitted he didn't do initially.

I could go on, but let me stop here.

I don't know history sha, but this presentation no get foundation.
Muhammed was in Medina which was part Arab and part Jewish. Mecca sent an army to attack Medina because of Muhammed. As the battle started a tribe of Jews withdrew from the Medina army leaving them heavily weakened. If the Meccans had given themselves brain that would have been the end of Muhammed and Islam.

I already know everything she said. Most of it is true but there is context to some of it that she didn't mention.

1) There is no doubt in my mind that Prophet Muhammed religious ideology was heavily influenced by Judaism which was huge in Arabia during his time however i think it was more of a case of him being influenced by their monotheistic teachings compared to the polytheism that his own people practiced, rather than him sneakily trying to convert Medina Jews to his cause. For one, he started in Mecca and only moved to Medina because Mecca became unsafe AND he was invited to Medina.

2) The killing and exiling of Jews that happened in Medina took place only after some of them betrayed him in the middle of a battle in which he himself was injured.

I prefer to get my information from unbiased sources rather than someone like this that is a rabid lifelong anti-Islam activist.

Doc, make I ask abeg, why una no rate Hazard abeg?..

I totally concur with your Neymar assessment and your last paragraph..
Rating has levels. It was when people started comparing his talent level to Messi that i personally got involved. I stated then that his talent level is below Neymar's not to talk of an extraterrestrial like Messi and i stand by that. I don't know why others don't rate him.

For me personally it was the blasphemy of comparing him to Messi and the fact that apart from a couple of seasons he did not score enough or create enough for an attacker. Drimbling without result does not a great attacker make.

I highly doubt that. It makes no strategic sense to expose to the world how easily your Iron Dome can be overwhelmed just by sheer number of homemade rockets

Russia Ukraine war showed how overwhelming missile defences with cheap Shaheed drones costing just $20k will force air defences to shoot them down with $250k missiles, eventually if you flood the airspace, the air defence will have to let some through. Same thing Ukraine learned from, using many cheap drones to attack Russian black sea fleet, allowing one or two to get through. Hamas took notes and have exposed the Israeli air defence system using same tactics

Israel is now in big trouble as Iron Dome weakness has been exposed, they will need to start physically occupying Palestine to prevent the rockets at source. But can they do that for Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and other places where Iran backed forces will launch rockets from? Israels peace of mind in that region is now seriously at question. There is nothing to be gained from deliberately allowing the Hamas attacks except exposing their weaknesses
Yeah like i said it might just be people attaching greater powers to Israeli intelligence than they really have. It doesn't make much sense on a good day but i can't rule it out completely. Egypt is claiming that they warned Israel about it but Israel didn't take preventive measures. In 1973 some reports were that Israel had been warned about the attacks but the US advised them that they couldn't make pre-emptive strikes in order not to be seen to be the aggressor.

One possibility is that they got advance warning but didn't completely appreciate the scale of the Hamas attack. One has to remember that Netanyahu is a radical himself who resigned from Ariel Sharon's government when Sharon decided to evacuate the remaining Israelis from Gaza in 2005. He has also harboured deep personal animosity towards terrorists beyond the average Israeli since he lost his brother in Entebbe. He might have thought allowing a small Hamas attack into Israeli territory would give him the justification for invading Gaza.

I understand the iron dome issue as well. Also, that 1973 attack led to Golda Meir's government falling and ultimately Israel agreeing to peace talks in the Cap David Accord so i would overall side with you but i don't think i can completely rule it out based on how much extremism exists in both camps.

None of them send us. Arab, Jew, Indian, Chinese, Hispanic, White. In fact they don't like themselves. The only difference is that some of them fear a few of the others while others respect others. Chess not checkers. Some people have said the same about the 1973 Yom Kippur War in which an Arab coalition 'surprised" Israel. It just might be people giving too much credit to the Israeli intelligence and security services but i know that Netanyahu is despicable enough to sacrifice a few hundred of his own people if it will give him a chance to wreck the Hamas apparatus.

The guy needs to be checked by a doc. Get blood tests done (thyroid, hormones, diabetes screening, cholesterol). Also needs to carry out an STI check, rule out heavy alcohol intake, recreational drug use. If all these are normal then it is probably psychological, though he probably needs to tone down the heavy lifting as this might contribute. Hopefully he also does not worship at the shrine of Onan.

Doc… Let me seek your expertise on this.
Just seen the news about pollen season in Melbourne and I googled it.

Will you say everyone is allergic to it or few people?..
I had swollen..itchy…red right eye, been coughing for a week and blocked runny nose… plus hay fever.
Not everybody is allergic. I for example never have such symptoms. The thing however is that there will be people who are not normally allergic who will experience symptoms during very bad pollen seasons. Then there are people who will have symptoms whether it is a bad season or not.
So I think the summary is that it is a spectrum from people who almost never have symptoms to those who are always having such symptoms.

For your symptoms you probably need a combination of antihistamine tablets, intranasal steroid sprays, antihistamine/anti-inflammatory eye drops, depending on the severity of your symptoms.

Always believed the Messi/Ronaldo throne would be inherited by Hazard/Neymar..

Now at 32, one is retired and the other at 31 is in Saudi..Two immensely talented players gone so soon..

With the ridiculous money now, I highly doubt we'd ever witness that great rivalry again..
Hazard was never in the race. He never had the sustained productivity in terms of goals to take the mantle.

Neymar is the one that missed out. He was Brazilian, had the productivity, the flair, the looks. He just didn’t have the psychotic dedication of those 2 football gods.

Apart from the money you also need people with that psychotic mindset, and you need at least 2 of them at the same time to push each other. Neither Messi or Ronaldo would have achieved the superhuman levels they reached if not for the other person being there as a rival. At their peaks even 50 percent of what they did would have won the Ballon d’Or at other times.
