larride:Na real wa. I have to just hands off Naija's issues like Mr Ibu. |
larride:Return 50b? |
akwesenana:I think so too. He probably is unhappy that the club rejected the 30m offer from West Ham and has logged out mentally from anything Manchester United. Sancho had also probably mentally logged out even before the suspension and I think it all stems from him playing quite well as the CF all through preseason only for ETH to dump him from the starting lineup for misfiring Garnacho and Rashford. I have no hard evidence for either theory but just trying to make sense of the madness. |
akwesenana:I am not sure how unpopular it is. He is on his way to being pound for pound our worst ever signing. Only Alexis Sanchez and wastemen like Taibi, Bebe can rival him. I think Sancho and McTominay have downed tools this reason for different reasons. ETH is a bit culpable for Sancho’s downing of tools and the club management is a bit culpable for McTominay’s own. Barring an injury crisis I would be surprised to see McTominay starting any game until January. |
izzou:He is 60. It was his nephew Orlando Anderson that shot Pac. That one was killed a few years later. Keefe D is probably the only person in that car that is still alive. The rate at which African-Americans dey eliminate themselves is quite impressive. |
izzou:The streets knew but nobody really talked and the police didn’t really care back then, however over the past few years Keefe D has been snitching on himself. |
akwesenana:The club doctor who okayed his return should be sacked. This is the kind of fracture that might have long term effects if not managed properly. |
raumdeuter:A large percentage of civil servants just go there to gist. Many will come to work late and leave early and will carry out little official duty while they are there. Others rarely appear at work. Nigerian civil service and parastatals are the foundation of corruption in the country. |
Segedinho:As you vex now I don dey fear. Abeg , long life and more blessings to you. |
izzou:I wonder whose birthday it is tomorrow. They should all just gather and celebrate it at Odenigbo shrine. |
Yesterday Ebuka. Today Segedinho. Happy Birthday to the Jazzmen Olofin. |
MRTA7:That’s an option but I was just going by ETH’s preference to play Bruno there. |
raumdeuter:I no sure say any group of people disappoint pass mechanics for Naija history. Drivers too strong but dey have to be hustling for silver medal alongside other Amakas like tailors, photographers et al. I remember one tailor that was a notorious Amaka. His own was so bad that he disappointed himself on his own wedding day as he didn't finish sewing his attire. Divers bad sha but mechanics get long history. It is like comparing Man City to Real Madrid. ![]() |
Ellexy:I rate him a bit. I am just not sure his ceiling is high enough to be a productive player for United. First of all is that he is going to be 22 in 3 months and is not a teenager like some of the other youngsters. He is nearly 3 years older than Garnacho, and Garnacho is already far more productive than him. He has not really been productive in terms of goals or assists so far from his reserve games and even the loan moves. I believe his ceiling is limited firstly by his talent level and also because he is an orthodox winger in an era of inverted wingers. This is compounded by the fact that he doesn't really have a left foot. So, his options are either to try to go on the outside and whip a cross into the box or make an across the box run inside and then pass to someone else. This means his goal scoring opportunities will be limited. The only orthodox winger i can think of who is currently doing very well is Rodrygo at Madrid, but the talent levels are not the same. |
everton4life:It is not what i would prefer if things were more settled but it is very likely what the manager would do. Amad is injured. Sancho is on strike. Antony has his hands full. At this point the only other option is Pellistri, and i don't think he quite ready. Meanwhile we are now overflowing with midfielders that need minutes and many of whom have to play (Case and Amrabat are needed for solidity, Bruno is the captain, Mount is the big transfer fee club No 7). |
Leyqute:It might actually look more like a lopsided 4-2-2-2 with Casemiro and Amrabat at CDM while Mount is the AM and Bruno the nominal RW drifts inwards to join him centrally as well. |
everton4life:The guy is quite tenacious. Martial wanted to beat him up last season after receiving a gory tackle in training. I don't mind seeing a midfield of Mainoo, Gore, Mejbri 30 minutes in a game if we are winning with a good margin. I suspect that our 1st choice midfield for the next few games will be Casemiro, Amrabat, Mount with Bruno on the RW as we don't have anybody on the right until Antony returns fully. |
nitrogen:Shebi i wan you. ![]() |
I wonder how long it will take some of these bigger opposition players to know that Dan Gore is kpako. ![]() It is not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6WY_ujD1AY |
obainojazz:O lu le yan yan. ![]() A great defender can defend perfectly 8-9 times out of 10 but the great attacker just needs 1-2 opportunities. Life is not fair. |
obainojazz:See what Pele did to Beckenbauer and Schulz. What Beckenbauer did there is what they used to call "lago epon". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEAU4-zRT88 |
obainojazz:You no dey watch all those Marvel movies? When gods meet other gods, some gods must collect. You are isolating Beckenbauer, Baresi, Maldini against Messi, Maradona, Pele and co with Cafu and Carlos bombing down the outside and you don't think there will be blood on the dancefloor? I would remove Platini, push Cruyff infield and add Thuram as RB. Switch to a 4-man defense. |
raumdeuter:Drop Garrincha and put R9. Garrincha can't displace Zico cos Mane Garrincha was a pure touchline wizard and Zico would be far better in central areas. Di Stefano is the one that keeps getting overlooked because of his peripatetic international career. If we consider him South American he gets in ahead of Zico or Garrincha. If we consider him European he has multiple avenues of getting in. The only players IMO that are definitively better than him are Pele, Messi, CR7, Maradona. |
obainojazz:The main problem is that Europe's team is not balanced. Too many attacking players. 3 defenders and no full backs or wing backs. Beckenbauer, Baresi, Maldini are gods but gods sef fit collect. |
akwesenana:Great news. We need all hands on deck. |
Diagnosis upon diagnosis. All is diagnosis. |
![]() nitrogen no go set bad precedent o. Partying should be only after losses or eliminations. |
Red card dey smell for Hannibal. Make ETH relive am e no gree o. |
CapitalCee:He will be 22 in a couple of months. If he can't be a contributing squad member this season he should be sold. |
nihilistjnr:Federal government ke? The ways in which the ruling class deals with common man are innumerable, and this is just one of them. There is little or no protection for the rights of the common man as a citizen, an employee, an investor, a businessman, or a consumer. |
nihilistjnr:Eleda wey don shayo sleep off. Gambling wrecks families to ground level. Just this Monday a guy came to my place for his routine check. His BP was very high and I was wondering why cos that was unusual for him. He explained that on his way to the clinic he saw his wife’s car parked outside the gambling joint, after she had sworn never to gamble again (her debts nearly wrecked them previously). Imagine, at the same moment the wife dey laugh and drink, gambling their family fortunes away, she dey give her husband Hypertension without knowing. |

I feel like Messi and co will disgrace Europe’s great defenders
