I remember Missin troubling the opponents in the last game. Seems he even scored a goal.

Lacey has flair. He’s skillful and technical too but he can be lazy. He loses possession too much. He didn’t start the last game and had to come in for an injured teammate. But he played well when he came on. That’s probably why he started today.

This group of U-18s look more technical and intelligent on the ball than their seniors Although things are different at the U-23 level. Maybe it’s me.

They are very good technically and they are very intelligent or is it that they are well coached. Also, they are the best off the ball in terms of pressing and defending that i have seen in the club in a long time. Even though Munro is only 16 he is a very strong CB (though limited on the ball) and for the first time in a long while we have solid defensive full backs on both sides.

Chelshit has no striker. Brighton has a hugely talented teenage striker.

Are you thinking what i am thinking? grin

Toad Boli to buy Evan Ferguson for 200m pounds next summer. This i have seen.

Yeah. They were not called up for the tournament. But good for them nevertheless.

Did you watch Malachi today? Does he look like he can get back to his best and continue his development?
He played only a few minutes but he looks like he hasn’t lost much of his speed. He was really speedy before his injury.

Wheatley’s hold up play and general play was excellent apart from his finishing. Biancheri was the opposite. He didn’t do much apart from score a hat-trick.
The new LB Amass was class and Missin was good on the LW.
I think Lacey still has to hug the bench in a knockout game. Williams, Missin, Scanlon, and maybe even Sharpe are older and more prepared than him for now.

Poch’a formation and selection is the problem, he is acting all nice and trying to please all the players. With the money spent so far we are still playing Gallagher as number 6, Pep won’t even dare do that seeing that Gallagher is not technically good.
Poch has problems? How many?

I will wait till October/November before tipping Chelsea for the title some of our key players are either injury prone or inexperienced and you need consistent performers to stand a chance against a Pep coached team not to talk of Klopp and Arteta with a stable squad.

Yeah. Shea Lacey was also called up to the U17 camp. Hope he does well.

I followed the U-18s game up to the first half. 1-0. Mad goal.

I think Dem Shola and co also have a game today. Who is Malachi? Name rings a bell.
Yeah Lacey and Jayce Fitzgerald were called to the Under-17s. They are not the ones going to the Under-17 World Cup though. Malachi Sharpe is a pacy winger who joined the club 2 years ago but got injured after a few games, so he has been out for close to 2 years.

Yes. I saw that yesterday. I don't know who he'll compete with but I think he's better than the other GKs in the squad.

It's a good opportunity to showcase his abilities. Hope he performs well and wins accolades.

Do you think England will go far?
Hard to say. They got to the QF of the Euro tournament. With regards Harrison, the 1st choice GK is at Ajax so i suspect he too will be a ball-playing goalie.

Meanwhile Under-18s rodding somebody again. Leading 4-0. Biancheri hattrick.

P.S Malachi Sharpe back after nearly 2 years injury. shocked

Leyqute your boy Harrison has been called up to the England Under-18 squad that is preparing for the Under-17 World Cup later this year. He joins Finley McAllister who has been our only player in that set.

What happens if Greeenwood (for example) wins the la pichici(or something like that)? Would the club look for another team to dash him to or they'll keep him?
In a year’s time most of this noise would have died down and if he is doing very well the club will accept him back, unless there is another major similar scandal brewing in football.
