Omo that Le Tissier's goal is sweet... The way he cool slotted it home at the end took me off guard. I was expecting a thunder shot only to see him calmly slot home. Yeah, Le Tissier 's foot could be like a hammer or like a feather. His top goals collection can rival and maybe beat any EPL all-time great. |

Okay If people report outage what will be done about it? Will government use Sango or amadioha thunder to generate light and distribute to the areas reporting the outage ? What’s the essence of getting reports that can not be worked on ?

Fear women. I said it before that what Antony was saying was plausible. I don't like him as a footballer but what he was saying didn't sound outlandish. It is looking like a love triangle gone wrong. His ex-gf decided to deal with him, most likely because he was banging her friends and acquaintances including this Ingrid Lana girl. Then when Ingrid Lana saw that she was being made out to be a slutty girl she too came out to say Antony had assaulted her, when in actual fact he flew her into the UK to successfully bang her. |

I can't grade any sport that once you have the best car, you automatically win Yeah. That one go tough. Even till now many people will say Ayrton Senna is the GOAT. Others will give Schumacher. For an individual sport there are too many variables involved. That reason you gave is why sometimes a driver will win 1-2 titles sometimes but won't get the respect because people know it is majorly the car. |

Ibime: 5-3 is not decisive, but 8-2 is, so Nadal is beasting him on clay and almost drawing the other surfaces
The rest of the bolded can be put down to injury plus Djokovic has had a clear run to amass stats in the last couple of years whereas Nadal was battling with Federer and Djokovic his whole career Why won't he start having injuries when he was doing pass his power to keep up with Cyborg Djokovic. Nadal his Clay GOAT. More than half of his grand slam titles are on clay in the French Open. If not that we have forgiving spirit we would call that stat padding but because we have forgiving spirit we won't. Djokovic is more balanced in his dominance and he has won more, and he pushed Nadal to the point that even his chi had to give up the ghost. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by afrodoc2: 4:01pm On Sep 11, 2023 |
ToyinDipo: GOATs are determined by grand slam’s performances, more so, performances in finals. That’s what the greats reserve their form and energy for. As it stands, Nadal leads Joker H2H in grand slam finals, also leading him on a hard court surface, that’s to prove that when Nadal puts his mind to it, he can rival him on HC(US open 2013) and destroy him on clay.
Definitely Joker has an edge over any or player at Ausie, though Nadal almost won last time they met.
It’s debatable whether Joker is the Goat, considering he got most of his slams against Murray, Wawrinka, Thiem…
I agree it's debatable but for now Djokovic is winning the debate. You can't be using putting his mind to it as an excuse. My personal favourite is Federer anyway. I just thank Ahura Mazda for bringing Djokovic to save us from a Nadal domination. Tennis is one of the few sports that is lucky to have the obvious GOAT contenders in one era so it makes comparison easier. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by afrodoc2: 3:31pm On Sep 11, 2023 |
ToyinDipo: Nadal has better H2H record against joker in US open, has 4 US open titles, 1 more than joker till yesterday.
There H2H at Wimbledon should probably be just +1 in favour of Joker.
If Nadal’s knee didn’t give up and made him uncompetitive for years at Wimbledon, he would easily have 2 more titles at Wimbledon and at least 3 more on the other courts. On the hard courts in general their record is 20-7 in favour of Djokovic. On clay the record is 20-8 in favour of Nadal. The grand slam record is cos of the French Open weighting. If most of their meetings happened in Aus Open Djokovic would have had the edge as well. Djokovic is the GOAT. He has won more overall titles and grand slam titles and beats Nadal in overall H2H apart from their French Open weighted grand slam record. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by afrodoc2: 3:08pm On Sep 11, 2023 |
Ibime: In that case the score should be 10-8, not 11-7 It is all about probability. Nadal's chances are increased when they meet in the French Open and while Djokovic's chances are increased in the Australian Open. Unfortunately, while Djokovic was getting to the late rounds of the French before losing to Nadal, Nadal didn't go as far frequently in the Aus Open to face Djokovic. Djokovic is better on 2 of the 3 surfaces, namely hard court and grass. Djokovic is as dominant on hard court as Nadal is dominant on clay court but Djokovic edges it on grass. The record is 8-2 for Nadal in the French Open but 5-3 for Djokovic in the other 3 combined. Djokovic has beaten Nadal in ALL the grand slams. Nadal has not beaten Djokovic in all of them. Djokovic has won the most grand slams, spent the most weeks at No1, most years at No 1, most big titles, most Masters titles, most ATP finals. |

raumdeuter: Tiger Woods Golf F1 Lewis Hamilton NFL Tom Brady One dominant undisputed GOAT athlete in his field is Alexander Karelin. I think he is the most dominant sportsman that ever lived. He lost only 2 times in nearly 900 wrestling fights, and the 2 fights were by 1 point each. He has multiple Olympic gold medals and once went several years without an opponent scoring a single point against him. |

raumdeuter: Novak could have been more if not for vaccine issues which barred him from some competitions. He isn't really a power guy like Nadal. He combines the power of Nadal and the techniques of Roger The major advantage Djokovic has is his mental toughness. His mental toughness is the level I have only ever seen in combat fighters and maybe Michael Jordan. He sometimes gets to a point in his mind where pain disappears and fatigue does not exist and injuries do not matter. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by afrodoc2: 1:23pm On Sep 11, 2023 |
Ibime: Nadal has a very strong case because he has better head 2 head at Majors vs Djokovic (11 - 7) and injury took him out of many titles
Also Nadal won his titles solely in the era of the GOATS (vs Federer and Djokovic) whereas Djokovic has been picking up titles against small boys since Federer and Nadal declined/semi-retired, while Federer picked up many early titles against lesser men. Nadal only faced the best of the best Nadal packed most of his titles in just 1 Open while Djokovic was more balanced all round. Nadal does not have more than 3 wins outside French Open while Djokovic has 7 and 4 titles in his less favourite grand slams. The major reason Nadal leads 11-7 in grand slams is cause most of their meetings were in the French Open. Out of 18 meetings 10 have been in Nadal’s favourite tournament. Djokovic has more grand slams and more balanced spread of grand slams, dominating different surfaces. |

We chatted, normally. Everything was calm. What annoyed and irritated her was that I said to her: "I have to go, because I also have commitments." That's when the argument started. She got angry, she broke a glass, she broke a plate on the floor, but she also threw them at me. She threw herself at me. At that point, I hugged her and told her to calm down. At no time did I hit her, nothing. I didn't headbutt her."
