Fair enough but we shouldn’t make excuses for PO because we would not do the same for others. These gaffes are occurring more frequently. There seems to be a haste to get these things out before verifying for accuracy. Obi or his team need to do a better job at verifying these things before he goes out with them.

@Afrodoc, this is another example of what I was talking about the other day. Are Igbos the only ethnic group in Lagos State? D. Elliot did not invent this wheel, we know he is not intelligent enough. Comments like these are unnecessary and needs to be called out. People should leave Igbo people alone, I will not get tired of saying it. You are speaking to a group of people but somehow, you concentrate on the Igbos, are they the only people that will vote in Lagos? You and I know how much influence MC has in Lagos, this thing needs to stop.

To Izzou's example, if you say we are poor, why is a State Governor purchasing a car worth N300M? How many of such irresponsible purchases is Kogi incurring, especially when you consider the State barely generates anything? If 1 car that he may not return to the State after his tenure costs N300M, then what is the cost of all the cars he alone is using? We are poor but we are operating an expensive government across the 3 levels like we are the United States? Using insecurity as an excuse doesn't make it any reasonable.

Kogi State is poor and doesn't generate enough to keep it alive but somehow, Bello's wife is wanted by EFCC for the misappropriation of N3Billion belonging to the people of Kogi...What gives? Are we really poor or are our leaders corrupts and use expansive government as an avenue to steal from the people?
