I remember what my dad did was to first outlaw any sort of lantern or source of flame in the house. All we had at home were battery-powered torches. Next was to keep the fuel and the gen almost a plot away and far from each other.

He also limited who and who could go to the gen house to refill. Once the certified people were not at home everybody had to persevere with no electricity until they got home. We worked round this by ensuring the gen was always full and ready to go.

The guy knocked that paranoia you talked about into all of us.

The best form of safety is not to store it at all. I once witnessed a building nearly razed down due to this fuel storage wahala; even the road for fire fighters to access the building was not accessible. They had to stay on the main road while stretching their hose to reach the building in a tight corner.

Of course that is best but Naija condition is not normal condition. Wetin men go do in the jungle?

Safety is relative. Maybe one can say as safely as possible. Some are very careless with their storage.

I am yet to see why we need to spend money on him for a long term deal. Just being better than McTominay should not be enough.
There is still time for him to impress before the end of the season, but so far he has not done enough for him to be offered a long term contract.

It’s an FBI-themed series about a criminal that is on their most wanted list who walked into one of their offices and offered himself up for arrest . He was using the FBI and was helping them as well to solve high profile crimes .

it should be renamed The Long List. Like you said it was initially good in the first few seasons but after a while the list kept getting longer and longer, and the twists became too tortuous. James Spader is a very good actor though.

My 55 year old VP who is fully ambulatory and in good health uses the airport wheelchair anytime he is flying through a busy airport or his flight is more than 2 hours! He’d tell you, he hates navigating busy airports before departure and after arrival. Also, he is tired after most flights and just wants to be wheeled. We laugh at him all the time but the man no send anybody.

For frequent flyers, this is a familiar and normal sight. If the agenda is about the CJN meeting with Asiwaju, then there may be something to cook because of the optics and timing but if the agenda is about this wheelchair disguise, then, dem no cook this one well.. nothing to see here.

CJN and Tinubu could not find anywhere in the whole of Lagos (or the rest of Nigeria) to meet despite all the high-fenced houses and vehicles with tinted windows at their disposal but had to travel to meet abroad with the CJN disguising himself (some would say calling attention to himself) on a wheelchair.
