I was beginning to get worried about your absence, figured you needed time to digest the L from Villarreal or Na work!

Your boy Book is showing out! Dating a Kardashian doesn’t seem to be affecting him.. lol.
Combination of both. The L just reminded me to face my own work squarely. cheesy
Dating Kardashian no be for everybody, though technically it is not a Kardashian. cheesy

Roland17 i saw your message on the NBA thread. cheesy

I am hoping for a Suns title this year so people can give my boy Book his accolades. The guy is playing on cruise control for now but be sure he can go give you 50 if it is necessary.

The Finnish number 8 (Lod) was the first to see it and reacted by raising alarm.. The referee was also around the action and God whoever started the chest compressions…
Past experiences have raised awareness with everybody. Players, officials, organizers, and medical personnel are now more prepared and crucially, quicker to see the signs and respond.

Would the onset of cardiac arrest be that sudden?

I thought the victim would expect to feel unwell prior to a heart attack
Hear attack. You heart's tissues are starved of blood (and hence oxygen) usually because of progressively worsening blockage of the arteries carrying blood to them. Most people would have had subtle and not so subtle warning signs for weeks, months, and in some cases years.

Cardiac arrest/cardiac arrhythmia you heart suddenly starts beating haywire or it stops because of default in the electrical wiring controlling the heart's activity.

They are different and yes in most cases arrhythmia/arrest is the more deadly one.

The exact question I was just asking Doc. It seemed too sudden from the outset.

I had to rewind a couple minutes back to see if he showed any signs before that moment. He looked perfectly fine.
After that run they showed his face briefly. He looked a bit concerned. But the warning signs for arrhythmia or arrest are usually a few seconds or a few minutes if you are lucky.

Usually sudden but one might feel ill for a few seconds or minutes prior. Eriksen was on the screen after the run and just before he fell down, and he looked a bit worried. You can rewind it and check. Most likely at that point his heartbeat was all over the place. I pray for him.

Doc, what does it look like at the time it happens? He was lifeless from the exact time he dropped to the floor.

I saw them trying to shock his heart.
Yeah, it is a situation i have witnessed hundreds of times unfortunately. I saw his legs convulse once meaning they did actually shock his body. And one of the guys was doing CPR. I pray he makes it. He is an athlete meaning his reserves are good and he got the required assistance in minutes so hopefully he pulls through.

I hope it's heat stroke and not a heart attack
Definite cardiac arrest. They shocked his heart on the pitch and they were doing CPR.

Modified: More likely an arrhythmia.

You need to explain your symptoms very well..
What you have is just Angina pectoris.. from your knowledge ans explanations your vitals are okay.. so it's pretty a case of maybe a minor angina pectoris..

Just go buy Nitroglycerin spray. And whenever u get tightness of chest or referred pain to the back, spray under your tongue(sub lingual) just 1 time.. it has a side effect of a slight headache.. but this will totally solve your issues.. also consider sleeping on your left side to ease blood flow.. remember in Medicine, resistance of flow is inversely proportional to radius of blood vessel.. which is R=1/r4
So therefore, a 270 degree sleep pattern will increase the radius 16 times more than the current radius..

Blessings!

I saw parts of that season that he,Lingard and Ravel Morrison starred together when they won the Youth FA Cup.
Will be looking forward to seeing him more in action, assuming our Ole can decipher how to use him and not keep him on the bench.
Yeah that was a good team. Funnily enough if they had asked people to guess which of those boys would be a United player 10yrs later Lingard won't have made the list.

That is one thing but i am more worried about injury. His eleda is working overtime to keep him from a career ending injury. The refs there usually don't come to the field with whistle or card.

That guy whose brain sometimes does dakudaji. Anybody who has ever watched the youth team knows that Elanga has exactly the same right wing problems as Martial and Rashford yet this man parked him there for over an hour. Then late in the game his brain dajid and he decided to switch him to the left.

He makes unfathomable decisions and ridiculous mistakes. He is the X-factor in the development of these kids.

I will really love to see him in the first team next season, but what do you think about a loan for him?.
I was thinking in that direction before. It depends on how many minutes he can get. He either gets decent minutes or he should go on loan. No matter what they do he must not go back to that Under-23 league.

@elder,
I've not seen much of Hannibal to be confident of his abilities.
His cameo yesterday was more of a dead rubber with nothing really at stake.

Do you really think he could thrive at the big stage?
Let me drop it like it's hot for you.

Hannibal is potentially a Pogba level talent. There it is. I said it. Nobody should @ me if you didn't watch Pogba as an 18yr old. cheesy

Greenwood, Hannibal. Only catastrophic injury or indiscipline approaching Ravel Morrison levels can derail them.

Somehow he's ended up right. undecided
James actually seems to be playing a lot better from the left.
James has played on the right as well. You shouldn't drop a youth team player into the senior team and play him in a position he struggled in even in the youth team.

Doc, to my own understanding, I feel the wolves defense will swallow him up, hence where he is playing, amad isn't playing the CF either, him and mata are playing as SS/AM, with mata being more withdrawn.
He does not play well on the right at all. Apart from the goal which he scored when ran centrally he has done nothing. Why not play him on the left and play James on the right? At least James has played both left and right at senior level. This thing is not WAEC.

Omo, I've never seen anybody who has the inside scoop on the academy/junior teams like you.

You dey subscribe to MUTV?
Most definitely. It took me a while before i could watch Greenwood cos even though the commentators (and people on Reddit and Redcafe) kept talking about him he was always injured. At a point he seemed like a unicorn until he was finally fit enough to play and he didn't disappoint.

Laird was even more elusive. He would come in, play well and maybe get an assist and then he is off again injured for 5 games. Luckily he has played almost 30 games in all this season.

I admit I found that claim a bit far fetched back then, but time has more than proved you right.

No need for strong head. If elder talk dey something, na to take heed.
Laird's problem is fitness, if not he would have been in the senior squad by now. Only Greenwood was more highly rated in the academy that time but he just kept getting injured. There is still hope though because Greenwood himself was almost a doctor like Phil Jones in the academy.

I don't want us to go into next with Wan-Bissaka as the only option at RB...Dalot or Laird should stay or we sign another RB which isn't a good option.
I am hearing they will make the decision at training camp. The likelihood is he goes on another loan and we sign Trippier or another stopgap.

I just hope he is given a fair chance by Ole...W8th Dalot coming back, those 3 should be made to fight for that RB slot...

If Laird is as good and assured on the ball as the video depicts then I don't mind if Dalot is sold or offered in part exchange for Sancho...
We have been watching him for years. He is good and assured on the ball and has good acceleration. He has 2 enemies, defensive consistency and injuries.
Both are tied because he suffered a series of injuries between 16 and 18 which meant he was unable to get the regular minutes needed to iron out his mistakes. Luckily he has been relatively injury free this season so hopefully he can kick on from that. Maybe Championship loan next season or a mid-table EPL loan cos his current loan is in League One. He is still only 19 so there is still time, he just needs to stay fit.

I used to think so too, but recent happenings have made me have a rethink. The junior officers have the short end of the Stick while the senior officers have been profiting from the never ending so called war against Terror.

It just takes the just takes the the cry of the masses ( which will surely happen if the proposed subsidy removal is carried out at this critical period) and the determination of some idealist junior officers and boom! There u have it.

We already have cases of deserting officers, some officers speaking on camera against being under equipped and also cases of some officers refusing orders like shooting at unarmed civilians. U think everybody in the army is cool with th massacre of Shittes right from the days of buratai?
The structure of Nigeria as a whole and the Nigerian Army in particular is too complex for such to succeed. I can't think of any junior officer coup that has ever succeeded in Nigeria. And that was when we had only a couple of divisions, not to talk of now wey divisions yapa.
Before they co-opt the large number of people needed to carry out the coup someone will leak it to the authorities.

As much as the bench affect a players confidence, if you really want to be up for selection, the chances you get, you take it, there was a time bailly was played for three straight games, before he was returned to the bench, you guys don't know what goes on during training.
If you get your chances, TAKE IT, a manager can't play everybody. I hate lindelof and Maguire combo, I would prefer a bailly and Maguire combo personally.
Ole is not a coach that takes risks, try understand this one.
I don't know why you guys are arguing what is glaring for all of us to see. Amaka overplays some players and allows others to rot on the bench. Even Vidic and Rio in their prime were not played as much as Maguire, and the difference between Lindelof and the other CBs is not enough for him to be compulsory starter whenever fit.

Almost everybody here has complained about Amaka runs players into the ground while neglecting others so i don't understand the need to argue this.
