Nothing wrong with that, just as people study French. Can you speak French and German fluently?. English doesn’t make you superior bro, it’s just a language like other major languages. It’s a choice to learn it, it doesn’t make one less or more intelligent. I had to learn it because I’m Nigerian by origin and it’s our official language.

Btw, you studied English too or you want to tell me you were born with it.
We are saying the same thing bro. I was advising the guy to argue with you in French.

Afrodoc2 have you heard about NickyButt’s resignation ? Reports allege it’s friction with Murtough but things may not be so.

I know you don’t like his approach to football tho.
Yeah I heard about it. There just weren’t enough duties to go around. The appointment of Football Director and Technical Director made his job as head of first team development fairly redundant anyway.

P.S I have nothing against Butt.

Milan of 89-95 that was a 6yr span and had 2 managers Capello and Sacchi. It will be like spanning Barcelona from 09-15(Pep to Enrique) or Rijakaard to Pep) which will mean 3 CL wins to include 2 trebles

If its by CL achievement, it will be difficult to look past Zidane three-peat team
It is the same club and many of the same players whether it is 1 manager or 10 managers and feel free to use 09-15 for Barca. Like i said it is my opinion and personally i rate that Milan team higher than the Madrid team.

This train of thought is quite misleading. Beating one strong team doesn't automatically make you stronger. It is your sustained performance against other strong teams over years that makes you the best.

For all their talent and quality, this team only won the UCL twice- against the same manager, and not back to back. And for the 5 years or so that they 'dominated Europe', were eliminated in the semis of the UCL more than twice.
Between 89 and 95 AC Milan played 5 finals winning 3 including a back to back. They won 2 of those finals 4-0 including their victory over a legendary Barca Dream Team. They had 4 all time greats in Baresi, Maldini, Gullit, Van Basten and a number of other great players. That team at its best was really tough and the best club side in the modern era IMO.

If we are to go all time it is hard to go against the Madrid team of the 50s that won 5 straight European Cups and had both Di Stefano and Puskas who at that time were probably the 2 greatest players who ever lived. It would be like a club having both peak Ronaldo and peak Messi.

Maguire shouldn't have passed the ball knowing it was Fred and not Carrick or Scholes. Fred crumbles under that kind of pressure so even as a modern footballer you have to apply common sense.

Having said that, the goal exposed what i said earlier about Fred. He shows up for passes he should not show up for. He should know his own limitations and stop making himself available for passes in dangerous positions. The execution of the pass itself was atrocious but equally important is his lack of field awareness and self-awareness.

Doc you would have just said this now

Which one be market woman style cheesy
People don tire me for here honestly. The most reasonable minds here now argue the way you see those market women arguing out of point over whose turn it is to sweep market. Out of point arguments don flood this place.

No matter the good point Oleout makes in a specific case OleIn will turn amala shamelessly and die there rather than conceding the point. And if the roles were reversed it is the same thing.

Every page is flooded with OleOut vs OleIn arguments. If that is people's idea of fun i am out. I can't really call them out cos it is a free world so they can continue their good works.

To be Frank, OleOuters are on point. So Zinchenko, Foden, Stones, Rodri, Larpote, even Jesus are quality Players?

We shouldn't shy away from Truth, Pep saw Potentials but made most of them quality Players. Who would have thought Stones would later shine for Man City? Zinchenko is not better than Williams, but he's getting built and more experienced than him.

Foden is growing better than Greenwood, whereas the latter is known to be far talented. How many Minutes have Amad played so far? Is that how to nurture a Talent? Shoretire has to return back to U23 before he loses his Mojo.

Your Manager would rather inject Rashford and force him to play, instead of trusting rest of Squad. If Pep ain't playing Zinchenko, Foden and Co, would they develop? Even Arteta is developing young Lads in his Squad with adequate playtime, but sir Alex -0.2 would rather play his first XI for 90mins.

What's Essence of Subs on the Bench? You're privileged to change 5 Players in UEL, our main Man would rather use One and reserve rest as Chips for later Use in the Future. Lindelof, Fred, even Maguire are better Players. Give them to top Manager and see womders.

Same Rudiger, Chris, Alonso, Jog and Co Chelsea Fans are saying they're are done, are beginning to perform magically.
So many things wrong with this post but i will highlight just 2.

1) Doubting the talent of Foden, Laporte, and even Stones. Pep that made Stones the 2nd most expensive defender in history at the time knows why. If anything Pep has not helped Stones grow as a defender. Stones looked like a potential world class player at 21 (which is why Pep almost broke the bank for him) only for Pep to struggle to improve him for 4 yrs.

2) For you to even put Foden on that list shows you don't know him. Foden won the Golden Ball at the under-17 world cup and was the standout player (after Sancho left camp) in a star studded England team that had Hudson-Odoi, Angel Gomes, Emile Smith-Rowe, Rhian Brewster e.t.c

I watched both players from age 15-16 and it is untrue to say Greenwood is far more talented than Foden. Greenwood might be more talented but the difference is not what you are indicating. I know what damage Foden and Sancho did in the youth teams.

Pep will obviously utilize players better than Amaka because he is by far the better manager but let us not forget the huge turnover of players that Pep has bought and discarded after they flopped and he couldn't improve them. The list will fill a foolscalp sheet.

What about Diogo Dalot? Andreas Perreira? Can’t they be bench options? At least someone with fresh energy to run and to help mark in midfield when we’re closing games out or any other thing like that.
Pereira ke? That one time don expire. Better to sell him off for small change. Pereira has good technique but little awareness or vision. Plays central midfield like a winger. Hannibal can get those minutes instead. He and Greenwood are the best i have seen in our academy in a long time.

I am not sure Dalot is better than Brandon Williams, not to talk of Ethan Laird who is in my opinion better than both barring injury problems. A decision has to be made between Dalot and Williams for next season pending Laird's development and recall probably in 2022

Ain’t that the truth?

We have to look at the players we’ve loaned out- which of them can be a starter or can be a good bench option? Then we need to think about the positions that we need to strengthen, identify targets and then go after them.

It’s not until the season ends before we start making moves.
None is really ready IMO. James Garner is doing quite well at Forest after struggling at Watford but he is probably 1 year away from being ready to contribute. Mengi is probably 1-2 years away. As a CB it is better he makes all his mistakes on loan away from the bright lights of Old Trafford. He too is not doing too badly at Derby County.

Tahith Chong in Belgium, Dylan Levitt in Croatia, and Bernard at Salford City have little or no chance of making it here.
