eph12: For Bissaka, I dare say its because of the lack of a winger in front of him. He's not a Dani alves, he won't be able to man that wing by himself. Not like he gets any help defensively, remember Lindelof is the one beside him there. I believe he will be better going forward when he has a winger he can interchange with. Yeah I hope you are right. I am happy with him so far though. Let’s get a proper RWF and solidify that right hand side. Rashford, Martial, James all prefer the left, and it’s looking like Chong who plays both sides also is better on the left. We need to start either Chong or Greenwood on the right in a couple of games and see if they are ready. |

odizeey: I don't know why we are asking more than what we should of him. The question should be are the RB doing their job? Make everybody face him work. It is part of his job. The modern day FB has to play a major role in the way teams attack. A good example is Liverpool with TAA and Robertson, and even the way Pep uses his FBs. One of the reasons our attack is blunt and we are easy to defend against is that we get next to nothing from our FBs. It is not the major reason but it is a factor. |

eph12: I saw him every where, from the defense to the attack. He's bound to lose some balls.
Bissaka hardly loses his man. The guy is good I don’t wan’t to jinx him (Bissaka) but defensively he is a roadblock. It is obvious that 1v1 wingers don’t fancy themselves against him. He is as good if not better than advertised defensively. Going forward however he still lacks some polish. The good thing though is that he puts in serious effort and tries to make something happen. He still might come good in that respect. Lindelof should hit the gym. His lack of strength and aerial ability when is troubling and is more highlighted now he is playing beside Harry Maguire. |

afrodoc: there are always choices especially this early in the transfer window.the club just has to be proactive that is all. i believe we need a player who is mobile, good defensively but also importantly very good in possession especially passing(not necessarily through passes etc but recycling the ball).fellaini doesn't really fit that description This is what i said in 2013 BEFORE we signed Fellaini. |

ChristoBam: Seems you guys on this thread can't make a discuss without throwing abuses here and there. So many times on this thread I've been forced to reply one abuse or the other. My point was that an academy player with no senior experience shouldn't be compared to these senior players in any way. Except one is a dingbat, I don't have to spell it out and include ' in passing ' before you know what I'm saying.
And going by your statement, I'll say you're the one that needs to get your eyes checked. Cuz I said Fellaini "looked like" a prime passer of the ball, I didn't say he was a prime passer of the ball. If he looked like a great passer to you then you need eye transplant. Very silly of you to say Fellaini ever looked like a prime passer. You no know ball. |

And apart from that, how many fucking matches at the top level has Gomez played that I'll rate him higher than those first team players. Make una dey calm down abeg. Fellaini at a time looked like a prime passer of the ball. And this is someone that played at the top level for sometime. You need to get your eyes checked. You can’t read properly and you saw Fellaini at some time being a prime passer of the ball. You need to see Unlimited over at the Chelsea thread. |

ChristoBam: The way you guys hype these academy prospects is so shocking. Did I see someone say Brandon Williams is already better than Shaw? or that Gomes is the best passer in United except from Pogba? These statements are really really shocking!!!
Let these guys start playing at the senior level consistently for about a year before we start with all these hype and comparisons..When the EFL, Europa league and FA cup start, then we'll start seeing them regularly. I said going forward i.e in terms of attack, he is better than Shaw. Don’t make me believe you can’t read properly. It is not really hyping the youth players though, it’s more of a criticism of the senior players. If it was a prime Evra or Irwin nobody would be making the comparisons. If we had prime Scholes nobody would be calling for Gomes to start. If we had prime Giggs n Becks nobody would be asking for Greenwood n Chong to start games. |

Leyqute: The one receiving the pass. Two mistakes don’t make a ....right?
I understand your point but you shouldn’t be making needless fouls when there’s little at stake.
Having said that, Elanga and Brandon didn’t communicate well in that match. Elanga most times didn’t pick the right pass (weight, timing, angle etc) down the left for Brandon.
He seemed confused. Made wrong decisions too. Had multiple chances to wreak havoc but couldn’t. The other guy on the other side knew what he had to do and how to do it although he ran into walls a number of times.
The other guy Ramazani is older and is a proper regular wingforward. Elanga is younger and has been moved back n forth between wingforward and CF. Same with Mellor. One thing i don't like about our youth set up is how they rotate a player's position so much that by the end neither the player nor the coach knows his best position. |

Leyqute: Who was that afro guy wearing 9 yesterday? Looked like Chong. He was useless throughout the duration I saw That's D'mani Mellor. He didn't have a great game but same can be said for most of the team apart from maybe Mengi, Fish, Williams and of course Kovac for his penalty save. Garner and Levitt played below their usual level. |

DeadPresidents: I blame the second on Elanga Yeah it was mainly Elanga's fault, but Williams knowing he is already on a yellow card should not have made that tackle. That is the kind of self-control he currently lacks and that hopefully will come with time. |

Oasis007: He's the main Reason I mentioned one of the promising LBs, instead of hoping United should spend some Cash to get a LB.
He seems ready to be honest, and I hope he's gonna be involved in the Upcoming EFL Cup Match. I really like him, but he has too curtail his temper a little. I think starting him with EFL would be a good idea cos we know Shaw and Young are ahead of him for now. Hopefully by end of the season he would have replaced Young as no2. Do you have any recent info about Gomes contract situation? If he hasn’t signed i believe he would leave for free at the end of the season. His former mates have left him. Sancho is playing senior international football, Foden is playing under 23, Gomes is with under 20. |
