PietroRick:The former best defenders in that league were Otamendi, Mangala, Rojo, Lindelof. Caveat emptor. |
Cavani is the best of the 3. Then Higuain when he is not potbellied. That Benzema Na non-scoring forward. |
MRTA7:Apart from Lindelof who is still relatively new and Shaw that is still young i won’t miss any of their defenders. All of them (including the 2 mentioned above) are significantly flawed. Darmian can be a squad player until the squad is strengthened. Even though he is mediocre he is versatile and usually not injured. |
PietroRick:Yes, that is what is happening. All those reserve players are just completing their education just like a degree and then they will find other teams to play for. 17yr old Garner and Greenwood moved from under 18 to under 23 and now 1st team within a few months and some players have been playing reserves for 2 years. |
PietroRick:You get am. Sbragia looks very clueless, and he is actually even more clueless than he looks. PLUS the u23 team does not have very good players. Our best players outside the 1st team are the 4 in Dubai and they are aged 19,18,17,17. Practically everybody between 20 and 23 in that reserve team (including Poole) is mediocre. |
Oasis007:Darmian is indeed an option across the defence because of his versatility but he can't be 1st choice. The most important thing is that the next CB we buy has to be better than everybody already at the club and has to the leader beacuse we don't have any leaders at the back presently. I am really happy those 4 young buys have gone with the 1st team for extended training. Chong is 19 and needs to start bulking up a bit and he will be ready, he should just be eased in incrementally and i hope we have a long term contract in place. Gomes also is not physically there yet but he is just 18 and also needs to be slowly introduced into the 1st team. Greenwood and Garner are 17 and i would not introduce them yet unless they show something special in training (even though Greenwood has been disgracing practically everybody he has come across and he has decent size). |
Lmao. Nihilist don craze. |
eph12:LOL. And na rich man brokeness dey bad pass. The Glazers have been using almost half of our revenue to service debt. We desperately need some Arab money cos those Glazer sons are only in it for the money. |
PietroRick:I have not really seen him play, and youtube videos are not reliable. Manolas is the safer bet but Milenkovic might have the higher ceiling. It is hard to predict how a player will turn out in a club. After a lot of misses recently in the transfer market we are due a number of hits. |
Oasis007:How good is this Milenkovic? This is not the time to be buying projects o. We should be going for players at their peak. |
LOL Only on NL that someone will call selling recharge cards owning a telecom consulting company. The only thing you have consulted is a fortune teller to know why your life is so unfortunate. Is there anything you have successfully completed in your life? One minute you are a footballer, the next minute you are begging for CommandClem money, after that it is to be trying to scam others of their money in the name of MMM. You make bets and for you to pay up when you lose becomes as hard as your life has been. Failed at everything and confessed you had to smuggle yourself out of the country without visa now you are trying to form boss. GTFOH Always trying to reap where you have not sown. Well i don't blame you, when everything you sow turns to shyte. Krychokewack will be cursing you wherever he is now. Lets not forget Belotti who you touched with your unfortunate star. This unfortunate soul is the same one that can't contribute anything meaningful to a professional/career conversation but when they mention Baba Ijebu he will be hyperventilating like an egbere on heat. When he wants to boast of what he has achieved in life he will mention certificate in amateur football. That is when you know a grade 1 olodo. Your mates were reading their books when you were kicking ball around like a street urchin. Your biography should be titled a series of unfortunate events, because it has been from one mishap to the other just like a tragedy series. And if it pains you so hard that i am a doctor and you are there in Canada washing plates you can commit suicide by jumping into the Atlantic. Oh i forgot that was your favourite form of transport. |
airmark:What is the plate washer saying? Your whole life is an uncompleted building. They sent you to school, instead of reading your books and getting good grades you were playing jeunjeun football all over the place. Even the football you wanted to play you were useless at it. You next tried reaping CommandClem money that you had nothing to do with and wasted a significant part of life on that. That one failed you then tried MMM and had to swim out of the country even with no visa. Now you are suffering in Canada washing plates. Your whole life is a series of abandoned projects and at almost 40 you are yet to establish a career. Spending significant time on NL betting and doing Baba Ijebu runs with small boys. It would have been funny if it wasn’t so sad. What is irony? When a failed ex-everything calls out a Fellow of a Royal Australian College on his career. |
Agbakolly:Just look at the person talking about English. Just look at you. Agbakolly:You obviously have a problem with the appropriate usage of verb tenses. This is usually what happens when jelesinmi education is followed by jakande education. I noticed it in our vulcanizer ( that is foganizer to you, in case you are lost). Instead of you doing amebo on NL and interfering in things that do not concern you why not spend more time reading for your JAMB exam. Abi you want to remain at home forever? |
Agbakolly:Aja koli, have you taken your medicine? |
airmark:Well your manager said your fans were stupid so you are partly right, plate washer. UP BLOUSE! |
Now comparing Hazard to Ronaldinho? Lmao Up blouse! |
All in all, a terrible performance. I hope Jose left his bus behind, because we need it to offload several players from Old Trafford. |
Lana1:That is not the point. It is easier to make your debut as a young player when the team is playing well or if the team is on the front foot. The team was playing poorly all round, there was a lack of technical quality play all over the pitch and it was his first time playing such a game. It is not surprising that it was not an excellent outing from him. I am interested in his progression rather than his first 30mins. Adnan and Macheda who had great first 30 mins are nowhere now. |
Lana1:So you want to judge him based on a 30 minute cameo in a disjointed game where almost everybody was poor? |
Jones is injured again, lol. The one person to come out with any positives in this game is Pereira. |
pharod:I can't allow Fred spoil my new year. How can a self respecting left footed midfielder have a 1st touch with his left foot and the 2nd touch is off his right shin? |
patrickmuf:Fred should be the first to go. His first touch can give person apollo, he is just a midfield Lukaku. |
dopeJemi:No we are not. I don't hate him, and i definitely don't hate his face. It's all good though. |
Fredo! E be like say na the last punishment wey Mourinho give us be this. |
dopeJemi:But despite these signs that Rashford showed you, you still hated him practically every week here. If McTominay does not give a good account of himself i am happy for him to leave to give others a chance. That will likey happen cos Pereira, Garner and Gomes obviously have more natural talent. |
dopeJemi:Chill, you too dey quick hate people. For a whole year you kept lamenting how much you hated Rashford. I agree McTominay looks limited, but going as far as saying you hate the face of an academy product who turned pro under a bus driver is a bit too much. He, like all other squad members (especially the young ones) deserves a chance to impress under Solskjaer. |
JayKayMaybachz:I don't think he is 100% fit. OGS hinted at that in his interview. Having said that i would be glad to see him go. |
Not a bad lineup. Almost got it spot on, apart from Mata and McTominay. |
SIRcumalot:Oh of course, that goes without saying. Just meant pace has to be one of his primary assets. If he is slow, no matter what other assets he has i dont want us to get him. |
Based on the matchday squad this is a possible lineup. ..........................Romero................................ ....Dalot.........Jones........Darmian.........Young...... ..........................Fellaini................................. ................Pereira...........Fred.......................... ...Alexis.............Lukaku......................Martial..... Lindelof and Rashford should get a rest. Garner and Chong can be introduced in the second half hopefully after we have wrapped things up. |
