Doc is like you have something against Schmeichel. Na one place experience dey start from. At least he's a club legend and he knows everything the club stands so he looks like an ideal candidate to me.
Who would you prefer as DoF? I have nothing against Schmeichel. It’s like you guys think DoF is child’s play. Well if you think it is, you only need to look at how Woodward has been bungling transfer window after transfer window. Or you can check Milan’s eternal rebuilding process. Man Utd is not a lab or secondary school that someone will be using to gain experience at DoF. You need to understand all the tricks of transfers, player agents and also have solid contacts all over Europe and some football admin experience to tackle a major rebuilding job like the one we need. |

Lana1: P.Schmeichel interested in the position for DoF. He has no business applying for that role and he won’t get it. They had better get an experienced and visionary guy (or group of guys) to run the football side of things. |

snrman: Lets see how this team performance against spurs If we beat Spurs it does not tell us much, if we lose same thing. What matters now is for the team to play attacking football with a quick tempo and passing. Full backs overlapping consistently and defensive players making forward passes. As long as there is no relegation at the end of the season I am good. Solakjaer is actually an exorcist who has been hired to remove the spirit of negativity and fear that Mourinho inflicted the players with. |

Good game, but there are tougher tests ahead.
It was not even about the result but it was great to see Man Utd CBs and DMs making forward passes between the lines and FBs making overlapping runs AHEAD of the ball.
There will be struggles because it will take time to expel the negative mentality that they have been taught over the last 2-3years. |

MRTA7: I do want some of the players to further expose themselves though. Because Jose was not the only problem at man utd. And it'll hopefully allow the new manager to know who he'll be selling quickly. They will expose themselves. There will be an exodus at the end of this season. Mourinho was definitely not the only problem and I hope the remaining problems are kicked out very soon. Fellaini, Darmian, Matic, Jones, Rojo, Valencia should be shown the door. The only thing working against Ashley Young is his age, cos he has shown himself to be a model professional. |

I can imagine all the haters and Mourinho stans waiting for things to go bad either today or later in the season.
Haters and stans, we are not asking Solskjaer to win the league or even make top 4. With the hole JM dug this team into that will be too tall a task.
All we want for this season is attacking football and no relegation. |

Creatrixity: Fosu-Mensah and Axel back would be a douse of crystal clear water from the everglades in the Atacama. It would be awesome to have center backs that can aid with actual ball distribution and not the P.T Barnum circus clowns we've got masquerading as CB's at the back.
Mason looks really good for his age group. Love the touch, fluid languid movement and build up play. He plays the United way—keep it moving and never stop running at the opponent until they cower into submission. We'd do well to keep him, Tahith and Angel developing within the same unit while being tested against much more challenging opposition naturally.
Can't wait to see our first game under Ole. Hoping the players put in a decent shift with no spectating. I am not so sure about Fosu-Mensah. His athleticism interfered with his football education , and being used at DM, RB, CB did him no favours. He is still a bit too rash and as a result injury prone for my liking. I think only one of Tuanzebe and TFM will make it here and it is very possible neither of them will. The major hopes are on those 3 attacking talents coming up. Luckily they can all play together at the same time, so one making the team does not stop the other from making it. If somehow Greenwood, Chong, and Gomes all fail then i will know something is really wrong with the coaching in the Academy/Reserves. |

patrickmuf: I checked him up couple of days ago, dude looks assured on the ball and is very pacey, he just needs to improved his finishing...Gomes, Greenwood and Chong are the future... Sup, with Tuanzebe? Finishing? Right now Greenwood's finishing is better than anybody in the senior team. He finishes with right foot and left from outside the box. He is mainly left footed but sometimes takes set pieces with right. Technically he really does not have a significant weakness. What he has to work on is his strength rather and get better generally. I would not identify finishing as the one thing he has to work on. Tuanzebe has been very impressive playing CB for Aston Villa in the championship this season. I hope they let him finish the season there, and next season he replaces Jones/Rojo. |
