Regan Poole should be in too. Apart from Tfm, not only is he the best young Cb who's great in the air, plays as a Lcb but the best on the ball. The total package yet shortchanged by being deployed majorly as a Lcb while others had free ride as Rcb.

Gomes is the darling of the youth system and the one with the flair, but like i told some guys here earlier his lack of size will be an issue.

And it is already showing a little because he has not been as dominant in the reserves as he was in the Under 18s.

Buffonge is physically ready but his skill level and decision making is not Gomes level.

The special one really is Greenwood. If that one fails i will confrim that village people are after Manchester United.

I have watched your Regan Poole. He is not bad defensively, but he is just 5'10 tall, he is not a local boy and he joined the club relatively recently. I don't think he will be a priority.

Greenwood does, don't worry. He is just 17 so time is still on his side. By the time he is 18,19 he will be physically ready. Technically now he is Rashford's senior already.

DJ Buffonge and Ro-Shaun Williams training with the 1st team. Those ones are physically ready, not sure they have the quality we need though.

Last season he averaged 4.7 tackles per game which is a Kante-level stat but only 1.5 interceptions per game.
This season his stats are more balanced so he is possibly playing a smarter game now.

No, I actually saw on a YouTube video that some of Ndidi's stats are similar or close. It's not hype. I'm just saying that's the best benchmark to use.

Ndidi averaging 1.4 tackles and 2 interceptions LESS than Leicester Kante. It is not really close.

Someome should compare Kante's 2015/16 and 2016/17 stats to Ndidi's current stats, but also look at passing stats ie total attempted, accuracy, success with long balls, average range. They are very necessary if a DM like that will play in your team.

Come on now. I don't think anyway is comparing Ndidi to peak Kante. I believe the point is that Ndidi has quietly been performing at a high level without much hype.

First off, Kante has been playing higher up than them both.
Then Torreira and Kante play for teams that keep the ball more so their breaking up play is required less often.

Ndidi is still a good player though.
