elampiro:Phil Jones is more intelligent than Rojo or Smalling in terms of reading and understanding the game. He is actually quite intelligent, he only becomes stup.id when he has to protect himself from injuries. I remember a couple of seasons ago when people here were hyping Smalling and especially Herrera. Herrera like i always said is a squad player in any team that wants to challenge for titles. Disappointingly for a Spanish player he does not have enough technique or vision but relies too much on ishan and agidi. |
Mourinho is really unhappy with Rashford, just stopped short of calling him an olodo. |
elampiro:I am not really blaming JM for it, but i believe with a more attack minded manager he would have made that pass. The main isssue though is why was that a difficult pass to make for a professional footballer? Especially one that has been mooted as a special talent? There was acres of space for Lukaku and Mikki to run to on the right, a simple lofted pass to that side and it was a 2 v 1. And if he was not going to pass why not run it to the corner flag? He did neither, even the bible warned us not to be lukewarm.......i am sure you can relate to this. |
elrony:LOL,you sef see am? Na why sometimes e no pay to debate here. JM isn't all bad and 100 percent to blame for every problem AND he also isn't all good and 0 percent responsible for the difficulties, however you have 2 opposing camps here sticking to unrealistic positions. |
CapitalCee:Rashford for one has to get back to the basics and put in extra work on the training field and the video room. His touch is not good and his decision making is actually getting worse. Martial's problem is just mentality and work rate., he needs to hit the gym on a regular. If the manager can't develop you then you better develop yourself. SAF recently said he was not responsible for Ronaldo's incredible work ethic and improvement at United, the guy did it almost independently. |
The players have to bear most of the responsibilty for this draw, however JM is not completely blame free either. His defensive mind set is affecting some of the players and a good example is that late Rashford non-pass. And in terms of squad quality, Pep inherited a better squad but it was not 14 points better. Pep has definitely done a better job in terms of improving his squad, and in terms of improving the quality of the players he met in the squad. |
funlord:I am not a Smalling fan, but i can't blame him for that equalizer. He was already injured before then and could hardly move in the earlier defensive actions, the only reason he remained on the pitch was cos we had no subs left. The commentator was saying JM should move him to midfield and away from the box to prevent him making a late critical mistake cos he had become a defensive liability. |
elrony:LOL. The spelling needs to improve in order to be in sync with Yoruba orthography rules though. |
chrisley024:We need to sit deep a little (not bus parking o) and hit them on frequent, quick counters. Leicester usually struggles when there is no space for Vardy and their wingers to run into. |
elrony:Young would be the most natural replacement at RB. Our attack will look sharper with Young at RB and Shaw at LB. Darmian should be sold off and TFM recalled next season, no way is he worse. |
elrony:I translate "You are the one who compared yourself to the aged of my family, not me. It is imperative that you all will leave (this earth) together. It has been ordained. You have bitten off more than you can chew." |
Nihilist:Hateful 8 was GREAT, but the bar had been set so high with previous movies, and the furore surrounding the stolen script before the filming made expectations a little over the top, so it didnt hit me with the force of those 2 i named. I will give Hateful Eight this though, the second half of that movie is the best work he ever did. Inglorious was great too, especially Cristoph Waltz. Truthfully an argument can be made for almost any of his movies apart from maybe Jackie Brown. Dusk Till Dawn is not a Tarantino movie. It was directed by his pal Robert Rodriguez, Quentin only wrote the screenplay. |
chic2pimp:. Tarantino is the man. He is the boss of dialogue and the ensemble, from Reservoir Dogs to Pulp Fiction, to Kill Bill and Inglorious Basterds e.t.c. The 2 that hit me the hardest when they came out though are Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill. |
diggz:Hitler too was talkinado, just saying it does not pay the general public if what you are talking and doing is majorly rubbish. |
diggz:Oh my! That is a proper tie. |
raumdeuter:Yeah i remember duduspace and kitaun. I had this Arsenal friend from way back in school (he is a dentist), our last major debate was Cristiano Ronaldo vs Jose Antonio Reyes . I have been searching for the guy like Abba Kyari but the guy don disappear into one jungle for dat una yankee. |
All my college Arsenal friends who claimed Wenger was better than SAF don deactivate for social media, LOL. |
elrony:Una don turn this place to comedy central. No PROPER debates anymore, just people meeting up for regular spin contests and sticking to their guns (and omorogun) no matter the evidence......or lack of it. |
Everyone is turning amala in this hot weather, even the ones accusing Dayo are pointing at him with their omorogun. |
KDB should just go and thank his eleda that he didn't break his leg in multiple places. That Dele Alli has a few screws loose upstairs. |
A40:We will have to agree to disagree on this one because this is an ideological difference. You believe it is a team achievement award and i believe it is an individual award, that is why Weah in 1995 and El Fenomeno in 1996, Keegan in 1978 and to a lesser extent Belanov e.t.c have won such awards. If it is close between individuals you can then consider what they achieved with their teams. Sneijder was an important cog in successful teams but was not the best player in the world that year. His performances were not the most exciting or outstanding and his stats were not the most impressive. There has really not been any year since Messi and Ronaldo came of age that anyone was better than BOTH of them. |
raumdeuter:This is a dicey case and from all the blood everywhere I suspect foul play. I am not treating anybody without Police Report. |
All you people complaining about JM and Lukaku should relax first, i want the true fans to talk. |
From Moyesi to Messi, una suffering pass Isrealites own o. |
