I was way overboard with that post, but it's borne out of frustration. I'm just tired of seeing Mhiki ghosting in matches and still starting matches. If Mourinho can't bench him, injury might be the only solution to give someone else a chance. Mhiki has been glaringly poor but Mourinho doesn't see it. I don't just understand.

Maybe JM has a better idea of Mikki's mental fortitude( or lack of it) and does not want to crush his confidence. Sometimes players play through bad form until they regain their form so JM might keep playing him (as long as it does not affect results) with the hope that he will regain form down the line.

That is the only explanantion i can give.

I would prefer Mata in the hole. I think he's still being underutilized being deployed out wide. I can't really say I trust Lingard because he is too erratic and lacks a great deal of composure to play that role.

Yes Mata is ideal to replace Mikki in the hole and Lingard can replace Mata on the RW. I believe Mikki needs a rest and he can come back stronger, also JM has to find a game to rest Matic (preferably League Cup). That League Cup should be a match to give Tuanzebe, Lindelof, McTominay and even Demi Mitchell minutes.

Nah. I will never pray for injury for any United player, would rather pray that he regains form or that the manager sees the light to bench him until he regains same.
1) It will affect our squad depth
2) That is his livelihood, i won't pray to take another man's food from him.

Mikki is one major reason Lukaku has been isolated in our last few matches. In this new found defensive set up his major function in the line up is to serve as the bridge between the rest of the team and Lukaku and in that respect he has been a failure so far. JM has to try Lingard and Mata in the starting line up and see how that pans out.

Appearance yes but style no.
Nedved was known for his stamina, tenacity, long range shots and running with the ball. He played mainly as a left winger/left midfielder and was one of the first modern style inverted wingers because he was quite 2 footed.

Not exactly the same though. The only time you get to influence your opponents result is when you face them. That is why it's called a 6 pointer.
You get 3 pts and they get 0.
For every other match if you win and get 3points there is nothing you can do to stop them from winning and getting 3 points in their own game too.

There is no alarm on my part, I believe we can still win the league and the worst position possible is 2nd.. I am just not happy with the insults people have been dropping directly and indirectly since against those with a contrary opinion.
Fergie did it ONCE and JM NEARLY did it once also in 20 plus years of the EPL.
Gaining points whether home or away against your direct rivals is important in this league.

Like someone here said, the bigger issue should have been the defending champions losing twice in succession, the latter one being to a side that was MILES behind everyone in the league.

JM parked the bus against Liverpool 2 years in a row, that is what i know. I also know that nearly all the matches you have listed that Fergie parked the bus in have been disproved. Fergie rarely parked the bus and FYI in the premier league era we have won more matches at Anfield than Liverpool when we have met.

We didint park the bus in that game either. Being outplayed is not the same thing as parking the bus, it is not every time an opponent plays better than you that you can be said to have parked the bus.

Honestly without checking records i can only remember one time Fergie truly parked the bus and that was the Barca tie in 2008.

Best is we should all move on cos this won't yield anything positive. Criticizing JM for his frequent bus parking does not make a fan any less loyal and does not mean we want him sacked, even Fergie was criticized on this forum and he has a statue and a stand at Old Trafford.

He has to devise other ways to gain points away from home because this system he is using now leaves too little a margin for error and will backfire sometime, maybe soon.
