As things are now Falcao is not better than Kingsley Obiekwu or Alloy Agu as a striker.
He can't out run defenders, he can't hold up play, his finishing is fecal, he can't even choose better boot ( falling all over the place like a drunkard).
I am not talking about goal stats now, just general play........one doesn't need to watch him 90 mins weekly to know Monaco loaned us an expired product.

Van Gaals tactics were terrible today. After shaw was substituted for Evans, why the heck do you have to use Evans as 3 when you have a natural 3(blind) on the pitch? A normal thinking coach would have moved Evans to partner smalling in defense, move blind to 3 and Jones into 4. Jones has the physical presence to be a better 4 compared to blind expecially when we came under pressure. Evans was non existing at that left back position. The only highlight of his(Evans) evening was when he was one on one with zaha, zaha fell and he took the ball: he was still in his indecisive mode when zaha got up, mark him, took the ball from him, dibbled past him, and created a goal scoring chance. Damn!!

Shaw if he can stay fit is a starter at LB.....hope he can do just that next season.

Daely Blind is limited, not quick enough to be a LB, not strong or defensively aware enough to be DM. If we are to take the next step up he has to be a squad player

Falcao had better not return next season, spent force. There is NO FOOTBALLING REASON why Falcao gets games ahead of James Wilson.

Jury is still out on Di Maria, hope he is more consistent next season (if he is still here).

It depends on the kind of team they are to play in. Tevez is the best all round footballer however i believe Lewandowski is the better striker.

Exactly my thoughts. Today performance was top notch with everything being equal, we just wouldn't punish them when we had the chance early on but they did took their chances and that's the difference. We played well today and the boys should hold their head high up and concentrate on the remaining fixtures.

all in all progress has been made this season, we can't deny that.
the general level of play has improved and we are starting to see a system in place.
2 things now

1) lets ensure we make champs league next season

2) go out and get higher quality players who can slot into this system for next season
