I wonder why people wish other people dead. It's as if they won't end up dead too. Many people who have called for the death of politicians like Obj or Ibb have even died before them. If death is the ultimate punishment, it therefore means we will all be punished ultimately.

Politics / Re: Olusegun Agagu Slumps And Dies At 65 by afroluciferans: 6:34am On Sep 14, 2013
sunky644: Hhhhhnnnn!!! Fellow Nairalanders, I wonder what you will say when Mimiko kick the bucket like Agagu cos very soon you all will get to know that Dr Olusegun Mimiko looted far more than Dr Olusegun Agagu we are castigating and crucifying even after death. Let them just continue to loot, one thing I am sure of is that the end will surely come some day just like this. Asiwere n koro jo, ti ko si mo eni to maa na (A fool lay up wealth but he knows not who will inherit it). Vanity upon vanity, all is vanity. May Hishi Soul Rest In Peace though... God knows best.

I dont like Nigerian politicians. Infact I detest them. But the fact Is that death is not a distinct punishment in real sense. Anyone that thinks so is indeed a shallow thinker. The bitter truth is that both the good, the bad, the rich and poor are dying everyday.

The truth be told. Jennifer as a brand does to connote premiumness and class. The truth is that while it can be said that she is a good actress, the kind of kind of roles that she dominates or features in nollywood aren't that classy. It's people's perception of a brand that drives It's acceptance. No matter how premium you may think you are, if consumers don't agree then you aren't. A simple consumer research or sampling will help her determine if she should go ahead or not. It will save her from bad investment decisions.

Ok. Now I'm so pained and cant even sleep. I.know the world is so wicked and some times it's seems hopeless as if all hope is lost. But rejoice because the Lord God most High is not going to sit and allow the earth become a failed project.

Now, hear the Word of the Oracle! The captor shall be dead in 3 days and the captive shall be given up by one whom is most close.

Oluwaseun! I call you by thy secret name! That given to you from the very beginning at the dawn of the spark! I call you! Come forth!

Welcome back little damsel!

It's just the same thing as multiplying 10101 by any 2 digit number. Try it with any number below 10 and it will fail. The op knows most people in nairaland are above 10 and below 100 years.
Politics / Re: DSS Questions Mother Of Stowaway Teenager by afroluciferans: 1:18pm On Aug 27, 2013
What is all this craptalk about this delinquent boy being talented? The guy committed this act largely out of ignorance of its implication rather than anything else.

There will be nothing of value to gain from this spoilt brat other than a life of crime. What he needs now is to serve sometime in a reformatory or penitentiary.

There is no iota of talent in this despicable act. He was only lucky to survive because of the short haul and low altitude maintained in flights between Lagos and Benin.

Lest I forget. This incident reveals the depth of security lapses at our airports. I remember flying free with my friend back in the late nineties. All we needed was a high dose of confidence in military fatigues and used tickets!

Forgive us.

Celebrities / Boycott Burna Boy by afroluciferans: 10:39am On Aug 26, 2013
Recently we have witnessed a growing case of either physical or verbal abuses by our so called Nigerian celebrities. The most recent case on record was the abuse of a helpless sales girl at silver bird galleria in portharcourt by burns boy.

The unbridled display of arrogance and toutlike show of shame by an upcoming artist like Burma boy is uncalled for and unbecoming of an aspiring celebrity.

I hereby use this platform to solicit for a mass boycott of anything brand, company, etc associated with burna boy. All well meaning and justice seeking Nigerians to click like and post their opinions on this thread.

Regards

Okwyjesus: New thing is on the way as The Redeemed Christian Church of God is set to build a new camp auditorium in their
redemption camp along Lagos -Ibadan expression way. The new auditorium will measure 3km by 3km and will be completed before their next convention.
No doubt it will be first of its kind in the world and this arised bcus their old camp auditorium can no longer contain their ever increasing members duriing their national programmes.

It would have been better to have factories and industrial complexes in the place of these so called auditoriums set up to hoodwink the simple minded

anonimi:

So a maradona talks and every mumu listens and gives CREDENCE and value to what he has said.

Interesting reflection of our values!!!
Indeed in a land of mumus a governor who has been in power for over six years with some N=3 trillion (3,000,000,000,000) down the budget drain along with his 57 LCDAs is "excellent".

It does not matter that he has NOT addressed the very BASIC issues of everyday life for the residents of his state from whom he derives 60% of his budgeted revenue in the form of IGR. The very BASIC things such as

* potable water,
* primary, vocational and secondary education,
* feeder roads

that are the RESPONSIBILITY of the state and LGAs as per the 1999 constitution amended to date.

I refuse to be part of people with short memories and hence celebrate MEDIOCRITY (average performance) that targets impacts less than 20% of the state over which he governs.
I reject such!!!

Is this not a state where Alhaji Lateef Jakande was governor for only four years (1979-1983) before Ayatollah Buhari overthrew him and other REAL progressive action governors, locking them up in jail while he
kept his fulani brother, Shagari in comfortable house arrest in Ikoyi

Is this not a state that formed part of the old Western region where the great sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo was Premier for only six years (1954-1960)?
A period of outstanding reform and transformation yet to be paralleled?

Awo's performance, almost 60 years ago, is simply a MIRACLE compared to the mediocre standards that are being praised today.

The only sensible but not necessarily historically correct post so far
