LondonCool: As you land from the Afriqiyah plane at Gatwick Airport get ready for TOUGH questioning from Immigration Officers when you arrive. They can over-turn your student visa if you are not sharp and eloquent. Passengers arriving from Afriqiyah airlines are rated the least level of Nigerians as they normally produce the highest number of "Oluwole" passport/visa holders into UK Chei Londoncool you no go kill me. NSE don de mess up you come here de pass time. |

Romance › Re: A Clarion Call To Ugly Nigerian Women! by agaba123(m): 10:33pm On Aug 18, 2008 |
Orikinla: What makes anyone ugly is the character and how he or she will display and portray it.
What most people in Nigeria call beautiful or ugly is based on the features of the face and that is pedestrian, because what makes a woman attractive is more than a pretty face.
I have seen pretty faces with extra-ordinary legs.
What of a pretty face with flat chest and flabby bum?
I go for the figure of a woman.
Nollywood star actress, Mercy Johnson is not a pretty face, but she is a beautful woman.
Give me a woman with hot legs anyday. A woman with hot legs will go places.
Most of the women in Nigeria are quite attractive.
You are as ugly as you agree. Good man. I agree with you. Hot body yes hot body. But I think we have many Nigerian girls with a combination beautiful face and hot body. Those who say otherwise probably have been looking the wrong way. @poster Hope you have sent your memo to Japanese and Ghanaian Girls |
Career › Re: Doctors And Their Pay Packets by agaba123(m): 10:15pm On Aug 18, 2008 |
Kongi: Like it or not, doctors are supposed to be the creme de la creme of our brains and should be rewarded as such. You amaze me with this your statement. You now believe that anyone who is a doctor is creme de la creme when medical school is going to the highest bidder in Nigeria. All these stuff of being the la creme is balderdash. I know in my class in secondary school guys who shot 8A's and did not want to go into medicine but some who lined carbon chain went in pursuit medicine because of this feeling you have here. Some succeeded after some years and other did all sorts of things to come and you say creme what? People are going into medicine cos of the societies perception of the profession. In Eastern Europe, every body is going for Architecture because that is what pays. No body cares about medicine and doctors are not highest paid and they still deliver quality services. So the aeronautic engineer or the pharmacist etc is not creme de la creme? Please be real. In the UK here, do you know that the GP is paid more than the resident and even some consultants? Why, because pay is based on the amount of work you do not based on the amount of book you have read. Please come down from the high horse if that is why you studied medicine. Those who talk most are those who entered medical school through remedial courses or the famous pre-science. . And the worst are those who spent 2 years extra in school. |

Uche2nna: Is there an alternate hypothesis What else could it mean H o : Men chasing does not mean they are pretty H A : Men chasing them means they are Sexy and Pretty Your null hypothesis will not survive a rigorous test even 95% confidence interval. You might want to discard the hypothesis Please do not objectify our girls. Even though they can be snubish, they are pretty and sexy. |

mcbunde: @Wisedman Man I don't really know what's wrong but just imagine I have written UBA, DiamondBank, FCMB aptitude tests of which i was among the top four in each of them(and attended their interviews up to the 2nd stages), NNPC, Eterna Oil, Fezel( attended their interviews) NICON, Ecobank, Firstinland Bank and other companies I consider as small timers. I always pay attention with the way I dress to interviews but honestly I can pick where I am inadequate. In fact I have lost count of where I actually apply/drop my cv although I have precisely concentrated my job search between Abuja and Lagos. You might want to get a professional qualification. That might help in a way since you graduated 4 years back and have not had a job. Good luck |

Epiphany: Topics like this annoy me. How can people be arguing that doctors are badly paid, WHEN ALMOST EVERY EMPLOYEE IN NIGERIA IS PAID BADLY? Is it because doctors go to school for 6 years and do a one year internship that they should be paid more? What of the lecturers in schools who after their BSc or BA degree's go on to Masters and PhD level. Have they not dedicated their lives to 'book' too? Apart from that, you can't single out doctors in the health sector and say that they should be paid more. What about the Nurses, technicians, physiotherapists, pharmacists, physiologists etc, who are not doctors but contribute immensely to the success of doctors? The same thing happens in Universities. Today, ASUU (academic staff union) will go on strike because they want more money. Tomorrow, NASU (non academic staff union) will go on strike too because the academic staff have not fought for them, but for themselves.
LOOK PEOPLE, the whole country is in shambles so let us not single out doctors and say they are badly paid. What of the people who teach the doctors to be doctors, who are not doctors themselves? Dont they deserve some 'good pay' for training these doctors? Iwe ji gi di anyi chei! . Na real vex When i saw this post the first time, I just thought of the bolded portion. Well they are what the society made them even those who are will manage to come out of medical school through whatever means and get a licence to fast-forward the grave bound journey of some unfortunate patients. They are those who make the most noise. Apart from those in oil and gas, IT, telecoms, I guess are the best paid. In civil service, who earns more than they do in Nigeria. There work should be appreciated but they should not compare themselves to those who work there ass out over here with mirad of bills and tax to pay that end up decimating the whole pay packet |

Hannibal: The male athletes didn't ask u to look below chest level too. Only angles of elevation and eye levels are allowed. . . . .no angle of depression. You are commiting by looking below the belt. So cover your eyes before they start the slo-mo schitzo.
Cos women don't have bulging genitals. Remember volleyball players have to jump to spike. Umpires/Organisers are wary of what those eyes of yours might SEE. Is that what you think my dear? some of them are very thick that you can actually see em . .,.When I go to the pool to swim, you see loads of stuff you will prefer not to talk about. Meanwhile Queenisha when are you begining the confession |
