natasha: So because your wife is now gainfully employed she has left you? Because her boss is an ex means she has left you? Does it mean every married woman who puts her dreams and goals on hold, to build up a home, raise her children till they are old enough to be in boarding school and then decide to return to work are automatically dating the men in their office? Only GOD knows what you put the woman through to the point where she has to take a Job so far away in the east and the fact that she is desperate enough for an income Of her own that she takes an offer with an ex shows that you never treated her right the last 16 years.
God knows when women go back to their ex's its because their husbands havent turned out to be the angel he pretended to be.
Dude search yourself, you may get all the satisfaction from the comments of unmarried hormonal men bashing your wife but at the end of the day, they are not the ones who sacrificed with you the last 16 years. They are not the ones who sleep with you at night even when you are ill or when not in the mood. They are not the ones who bore and cared for your kids. Not every woman will leave a 200k + job and relocate to be a housewife only to return to a 40k monthly job if she hasnt been through hell and back due to failed promises.
Perhaps, you are the type of man that she has to write letter to request money for pads, cosmetics, hair, maggi etc perhaps you are the type of dude she has to justify why she wants to make her hair monthly, perhaps, just perhaps....we only have your words of how wonderful a husband you have been.
Enjoy the bashing and insults your other half recieves from this public forum....I hope you find the succor you so much desire Lord deliver us from Sons of Saul!! Gainfully employed? What kind of gainful employment will invest over 200k for 40k return? |

mapet: 1. Of course you don't know how old I am,....and humour me, what was it that was significant in his first coming? What differences is there to settle with Babangida? 2. Well I see that our appreciation of values are different, much more my take is that you probably have no value for probity, integrity and honesty. What is surprising to me is your concern with the people picked and not what they did, the enormity of it, how it affects Nigeria/Nigerians/ordinary citizens and the effectiveness of the system to recover the stolen funds and give appropriate punishment to these thieves.
Just like I said, I see that your values are different You may wish to stop being emotional and say what you wanted to say. Tell me that what I said is wrong instead of making assumptions. Values? I hope if you are put to test that your so called values will not burn to ashes. Those who have values do not brag about it. What surprises me about your values is that you don't seem to worry about big thieves like Amaechi and Fashiola with glaring cases against them being elevated and glorified by the same government that shout antikworuption. If you see nothing wrong in the handling of this country at the moment, enjoy your upright values. I don't want to share in such... |

DaBullIT: It is no news that the FG has suspended the payment of subsidies to private / independent marketers and the official PMS is 86.50
Although, Punch , Premium times, Sahara reporters and co confirmed that the price has been adjusted in some petrol stations at the FCT
Please suggest how to make it work all over the country, At least a suggestion can make a difference
TonyeBarcanista , Seun, IshiLove, omenka , modath, Agabai23 , Firefire , Ngeneukwenu , arresa , abduljabbar4 , thevoice , after1 ,
Honest and reasonable suggestions only I thought they said NNPC will be importing most of the petrol that the independent marketers won't be much involved. If NNPC has the capacity, there won't be any problems. On a lighter note, if you're contracted by the government for this solution, pay for consultancy... |

modath: Agabs fear God ooo, please campaign! Please close the barn door after the goats have finished the yam (pun intended) where are the roads ,
What is the land mass of Nigeria?? I travel by road a lot & apart from dualization of Abuja lokoja (half done, started by OBJ or Yar Adua I believe) I have not seen one single NEW road being worked on in recent time, the most hurtful is the Obajana to Kabba that knocks out more than 1hr+ from travel time was left to totally become craters despite Dangote cement being in that axis.
which locomotives are you talking about , 21st century travel by trains not smokey locomotives that were refurbished for photo ops, how many exists to account for the pillage of the treasury? ,
Agabs not being endeared to someone does not translate to hate.. & I sincerely hope you can point to one thing he did to impact the lives of Nigerians.
OBJ with his million faults, changed the fortunes of public servants, middle class got a resurgence, Yar Adua despite being sickly, in his short tenure managed to reduce fuel price, & not damage the economy...
I hope you are not trending tyrantB cos Ayo Salami is still fresh in our memory & I'm still awaiting your stand on Dasukigate ! lol, you have to understand how the mileage is calculated before you disagree. Do you mean that Fashiola and the other guy that spoke on Channels are liars? Like I said, you won't see anything positive with GEJ. They had to borrow to meet the wage increase of 2010 which makes up bulk of the debt you accuse him off. 2010 was the beginning of the recovery from doom for your info. Modath, in your eyes GEJ will do no right. There is no point discussing him. Let's discuss the government of the day. |

Sall: High tarrif and high cost of importation will encouraged them to produce and local production here in Nigeria. You do such when you have built a local capacity. If you don't have local capacity you end up causing scarcity and hardship. GEJ postponed outright ban on rice importation even when 80% local production was achieved. He also shifted the date for the activation of high tariff associated with the auto policy because local capacity was not enough to take care of local demand. Buhari jumps before he looks. |

modath: Agabs, was oil trading @ 37$ during GEJ's time? & what good did the oil boom accrue to everyday JOE? What infrastructure did the partial removal of subsidy benefit average JANE
What is the usual practice in the time of scarce means ? Agabs haba!!!
I have so many plans that I'm thinking of nixing cos 270 to a USD card transaction is a total no bueno! 1k limit a month is beyond laughable but a mono export / over import dependent economy with a reserve that is almost running on empty has no choice but to cut down on frivolities...
I don't support all of PMB's policies but I will give him the benefit of doubt especially when the indices aren't in the country's favour. :DD Madam Mody...You know I have talked about what the partial subsidy removal was used for. I don't want to start campaigning for GEJ again. But Fashiola just recently acknowledged the 20 000 kilometres of roads he built raising available roads from 4k5 to 25000 km. They have over 200 road projects uncompleted. Most of them were carried out with Sure-P. Amaechi publicly acknowledged the functioning of the rail system when he commissioned one of the many revived rail networks. You know I don't expect you to see anything good in GEJ's govt because you hated him. Buhari on the other hand is repeating what he did in 1984 that plunged the economy further down south. Oil did not sell at $ 37 and be never budgeted 6 Trilllion either. Rather they started reducing the budget sum with the fall in oil price. Your friends think they will get money to fund a 6 Trillion budget with propaganda. |

modath: Agabs, that counting on support is story for the gods, Igbos went with Jona cos he gave them more viable position, saw an easy mark & cos they detests everything Buhari is, so kill that gist right now.
Fayose has been a 100% Jona/PDP man so count that as the single yoruba incase you want to sustain the falsehood!!!
Of everything, what disgusts me is the betrayal angle, like yoruba went into a blood convenant with Jona & reneged!! I've asked & y'all scurry away "" what about the votes the SW delivered in 2011, & what did it profit them
Kindly do not mention Mulikat Akande Adeola. Thx!!!
You know I'm consistent in my anti GEJ stand, it has nothing to do with tribe, I just knew he had no great ideas or plans... His antecedents in Bayelsa should have served as a learning point!!!
Have I wished you a Happy new year?? You saying the same thing with me. I don't really think it is about viable position. It is more about favourable economics policy. Every business inclined person will tag with GEJ. His policies are still head and shoulders above this physical fiscal policies that we are in. Yes, we have exchanged new greetings. Hope you're cool? |
