Its only you that knows they need them abi? People that have been working in the army upwards of 30 years do not know. Its only you, a Nairaland soldier that knows. Have u been to any military facility in Nigeria? Their facilities are basically the best run public facilities. The military is complete with every discipline out there in the private sector. Health, Finance, Admin, Education, manufacturing, press, music, religious, hospitality, etc.

So if they buy mortar, rifle and bullets, medical supplies, etc they have to do press statement about it? Smh

He was on air asking about threat analysis this and that, as if the military will conduct a threat analysis and then call a press conference to release their findings. Nigerians must always complain. Dont you know road access is part of what creates jobs? So you think job creation by govt is to physically create the jobs by setting up factories, employing people into ministries, etc? No! Govt create jobs by creating an enabling environment for investors and entrepreneurs to go in.

If Obi or Kwakwanso for example, relocated to the senatorial district that has election in the past 3 months, campaigning door to door, doing proper mobilization and having coordinators for each polling unit, ward and local government, it is sure thier party will do well in the election. This is what is called political structure. Having well motivated people in every corner doing the work for your party. Doing door to door campaign and you yourself as the political figure of the party, showing face and using your local influence and popularity to drive excitement in the coming election.

But what do you have, they just want to want to sit in corner and be feeling funky over social media popularity. Thinking manna will fall on their laps from heaven. You have to put in the work! Or you go with empty hands as usual.

And in addition to this, at the next election, the structure will be there already to reactivate. If you don't put in the work for others, nothing substantial will come to you.

Can you reasonably explain? The last i remember election is won by majority votes and spread. Was it Obi's tribe that made him not as popular as Tinubu and Atiku that beat him silly? Was it tribe that made him not to have even ordinary party rep in all voting units? Obi had many votes everywhere he was expected to, which were major cities, South East and Christian dominated areas. Normal analytics predicted this before elections and that exactly what happened.

This time again, it's clear he'd lose. Does it have anything to do with his tribe? No. Clear logic, he's not as popular as Tinubu or Atiku.
2. His party is new and not popular or known to majority of voters, election is NOT online.
3. He has lost the Christian bloc vote that worked for him due to his previous islamization narrative.
4. The North will not vote for a new southerner. They'll either vote for a northerner or for Tinubu who has just 4 more years.

Clearly, he has no path to victory in the North which is over 50% of votes. In the South, his Christian votes are depleted. Even in his South East stronghold, his opponents will get more votes than previous. These are major reasons and there are others. If you cannot see reason, you can continue been deceived that he'd lose because of his tribe.

Seeking such approval and not getting is a political disaster. That is why they are just doing enough to make the Iranians cave and bend to their wishes.

Same way the Iranians are just doing enough to discourage the US from attempting full invasion. They are making them realize there is a cost implication in that as well. Just like a Lion and a pack of dogs. Everyone knows the Lion can defeat the dogs, but when the cost of victory seems too much, the Lion will simply use posturing to achieve its objectives.
