Fighter Pilot: Two different scenarios. Killing rioting citizens is totally different than killing non-violent peaceful citizens.
according to you, it is right for egypt's army and police to to use armoured vehicle gunfire and combat rifles to kill over 500 civilians carrying ordinary sticks and political protest placards. you should be sent back to live in the pre-historic reptile age of evolution.

....you were personally in nigerian war zone to verify that those who were k.illed by the army were unarmed or non-violent peaceful citizens ? go back to your military academy, tell them Augustine asked your lecturers to explain to you what is called Fifth Column in real war

Fighter Pilot: South Africas National Defence Force procurement programme will soon be realised as early as 2015.

SA Navy
1. Project Biro (Procurement of IPVs and OPVs), Subs and Covettes

SA Army
1. Project Hoefyster (Procurement of IFVs)
2. Project Aorta ( Procurement of new battle tanks)
3. Project Sepula ( Procurement of APV)

SA Airforce
1. Transporter planes
2. Missiles ( long and medium range SAMs, ASMs, AAMs, etc)
3. New modern Gunships and utility helicopters.

Fighter Pilot: It seems to me that you know nothing about economics since there is no country that can survive without debt. Debt is not something that SA should be wary about. For instance, let us reduce everything to myself, I still owe a huge debt for my house yet I managed to buy myself a second car.

Debt has got nothing to do with the procurement of those weapons, taxpayers money wich is collected yearly will buy those weapons.

i can speak with the authority of an accountant.

Debt is ONLY good if used for production of consumer goods and services to provide measurable benefits for the company that borrows to do business and make profit, or the government that invests the debt in economic growth especially to increase production of essential utilities and consumables as well as improve the standard of living and quality of life of its people.

show me how another batch of new south african navy submarines and warships will lead to more production of goods and services for the citizens of south africa to live a better quality of life.....will people cook and eat missiles and torpedoes in soweto ?

who is south african military going to war against with these new weapons to be purchased ? Russia ? Rhino Poachers ?

dont deceive yourself, south africa is not buying those new multi-billon dollar weapons on your imaginary wish list produced in dream-land. go feed your hungry people with food....bombs and bread have same shape, but not same utility.

saengine: Oh ok and the time it took your F-7 jets to take off and position themselves before firing what where the Rooivalk doing? Having tea? Your pilots are going to take off, track targets and fire all at super sonic speeds? Um...ok then.

By the time F-7 have picked up Rooivalk, Rooivalk is close enough to the Frigate.
learn to accept defeat. Rooivalk is coming to attack and the moment it flew off deck, nigerian coastal radars and TRACON radars have ranges of 500km to 600km and ATR-42 Surveyor MPA aircrafts has 330km radar and has been flying patrols monitoring all valour frigates movements.

i told you the F-7 will be at alert in my simulation. go and google 'interceptor jet scamble' and thats your homework for today my dear student, google how jets scamble.

the F-7 jet speed is about 7 times faster than your slow snail Rooivalk helicopters. fact.

air to air combat is different from air to land attack, SRAAM missiles are fired at supersonic speed and PL-9 missile on F-7 is one of the best in the whole world.

accept defeat and stop wasting my time. reason why i am tired of this forum...time wasting south africans who dont know the real art of war.....

Nigeria is too hot for any African country in war, even Egypt will sweat before they beat us ! other countries will fall when they clash with nigeria...go ask Chad and Cameroon why they dont fight us for more than few hours....they run back to their wives and children at home grin

saengine: And your st*pid brain is making the assumption that Umkhonto is being used to fire directly at F-7 jets. Umkhonto is being used to shoot down any missiles which enter the 15 km arc, protecting Rooivalk helicopters. Like I said unless your F-7 jets are going to take off from the beach sand, Rooivalk helicopters will be much closer to the frigates before you fire at them thanks to the Frigate picking them up on radar as soon as they take off.
fool, the F-7 jet is 3 times closer to the Rooivalk than the valour frigates umhkonto missile launcher cells, and the F-7 jet PL-9 missiles are 1.5 times faster than your umkhonto missiles.

distance from valour to Rooivalk is 12km, distance from Rooivalk to F-7 is 4km. south african 33% brain grin

it will take only 4 seconds for the F-7 jet missile to kiss the Rooivalk and send the soweto pilots to Hades grin

nigeria has 12 F-7 jets and about 10 air force bases along the coast line from lagos down to calabar. you dont know nigerian military, oh no you dont !

i have locked your south african naval forces in a d.eadly trap, even your admiral chief of south african navy staff CANNOT escape from it....and i am a nigerian civilian, ordinary civilian.

NNS ARADU : Powerful Missiles, Powerful Radars...

Mission capabilities

Aradu is an all-purpose fighting ship capable of undertaking the following missions alone or in concert with other units:
Sustained and independent blue water patrol over a range of 6,500 miles (10,500 km).
Gunfire support to friendly forces operating up to 16 km from the coast.
Air defense of self and cooperating forces up to a range of 13 km.
Anti-submarine warfare (short range or extended range using helicopter borne torpedoes.
Electronic warfare (intercepting and jamming).
Anti-ship warfare missile attacks against surface units up to a range of 120km.
Mine laying.
Airborne or surface Search and Rescue.

Service history

In 2001, another refit (with American assistance) was undertaken, and the ship returned to operation.

The obsolete AWS 5 radar and PHS sonar were replaced with a Signaal STIR (I/J/K) 60NM fire control (range, bearing, altitude), DA-08 90NM air (search, track) as well as an Atlas EA80 20NM passive anti-submarine sonar (bearing, class), in addition to these, all other systems including weapons were cleaned, overhauled and put in good working order. The non-operational Lynx helicopter was replaced by a Augusta 109E.

saengine: Not even worth replying really. If a Frigate is at 20km from the coast, and a helicopter is at 8km from the coast it means that there is a distance of 12km between the frigate and the helicopter.....i.e inside the 15 km arc of Umkhonto. Which is the point.
run away again, you lost based on poor mathematical calculations. i shot down your helicopters.

only Rooivalk is in the Umkhonto shield, but F-7 jet is outside it at 4km from the coast meaning Valour frigate is 16km away from the F-7 jet...hahahha 33% south african brain.

4km + 16km = 20km

we were forced to pass mathematics in nigeria or else they will say i failed with the 80% group. high standard nigerian education, far superior to south africa.

thats how your south african military will make mistake in calculations when you fight nigeria....dummy grin

saengine: 20km away from the coast. And so what? Rooivalk helicopters can be 8km away from the coast meaning they are still within the range of Umkhonto missile protection.
hahahah grin grin grin they dont teach you dimensional geometry and mathematical mensuration in south african schools like we learn in nigeria.

if valour frigate is 20km from nigerian coast...

there is 5km from nigerian coast into ocean that umkhonto missiles range cannot reach...

then Rooivalk helicopter is 8km from nigerian coast....

then the F-7 jet at 4km off nigerian coast into sea will be only 4km away from the Rooivalk and will shoot down all south african helicopters from visual range no need of BVR missile capacity of the PL-9 air to air missile...

hahahahaha grin grin grin grin

Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 9:06am On Aug 16, 2013
saengine: And what is your point? How does your radar having a range of 600km change the point I made above? Your radar can have a range of 5000km, because you have already placed our ships at 20km off the coast. On a clear day they might be visible with the naked eye. Point is, unless your F-7 will take off on the beach sand, we can warn our pilots to come closer to our ships once we pick you up at 120km. So Rooivalk will be much much closer to our ships by the time F7 arrives.
read your own post of June 10, i put it in bold for you above.

your warships are 20km away from nigerian coast, outside the range of valour frigates umkhonto missiles protection and nigerian F-7 jets will shoot down all your Rooivalk helicopters.

nigerian coastal radar plus TRACON air radars will see your helicopters and F-7 jets will do their usual job of interceptors to shoot down all your slow helicopters.

oh ! i forgot to warn you south africans...NNS ARADU has 24 units of ready to fire Aspide SAM anti-aircraft missiles with range of 13km.

no navy in all africa can blockade nigerian waters, not even mighty Egypt.

the south african naval blockade of nigerian waters will end in a national military disaster for jacob zuma's navy

.

13 km range Aspide SAM anti-aircraft missile launch, similar to the 24 units ready to fire from NNS ARADU

Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 8:50am On Aug 16, 2013
saengine: Hence I said quote where I said that.

I never put any Frigates at 50-100km from the coast. I kept them where they were. My post on the so called Naval simulation is on this site for all to see.

A Darter missiles are being integrated onto Hawk jets. Mistral missiles can simply be purchased. All integration and technical work has already been completed.
A Darter missile is NOT yet in operation today, remove it from your simulation. fact.

nigeria too can simple purchase C-803 aircraft launched anti-ship missiles and put it on coming L-15 Falcon jets or we put ship launched version of it on our two new Type 056 stealth warships to sink all your valour frigates from 250km away because the Type 056 anti-ship missile has range of 300km and fire control rader guides it up to 200km to 250km range 3 times longer than valour frigate Exocet 70km range missile...so who wins ?

Nigeria wins ! naval blockade ends in disaster for south africa and you loose all your navy frigates sunk in one day ! grin

you see why i can NEVER agree with you that south africa will defeat nigeria in war ? NO NEVER ! nigeria is more powerful.

Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust:
Thiza: @AGAUGUST NIGERIAN MILITARY STILL BELOW INTERNATIONAL STANDARD – PRESIDENT JONATHAN .....NOT ME BUT YOUR PRESIDENT

President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday admitted that the Nigerian Armed Forces were still lagging behind when compared with most armed forces globally even as he warned against religious, tribal promotion in the military.

In his address as the reviewing officer of the passing-out parade and commissioning of the Direct Short Service Course 20 (Navy) by the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Jonathan noted that the welfare, equipment and professionalism of the nation’s Armed Forces were nothing compared to best international practices.

Represented by Vice-President Namadi Sambo, the President said it was in this regard that his administration was working towards transforming the Armed Forces to meet the world’s best standard.
He called on the passing out cadets to shun acts capable of jeopardising the peace and unity of the country.

A total of 85 cadets, among them females, passed out from the nine months direct short service military course with three of them receiving Navy Gold Medal, Navy Silver Medal and Commandant’s awards respectively.

Said Jonathan: “Let me at this juncture reiterate the high premium this administration places on the welfare of the members of the Armed Forces. As commander-in-chief, I have repeatedly assured members of the Armed Forces of my desire to transform them into a modern military institution that the nation can be proud of. The transformation will make it comparable to other Armed Forces in advanced world in terms of welfare, equipment, training and professionalism.

“As the NDA provides equal opportunity for our youths from all over the 36 states and the federal capital territory to train irrespective of their cultural and religious background. I also urge all of you to utilise the friendship you forged while in the Academy to discourage any act of tribalism, promotion of religious or political differences to cause disharmony in our collective unity and peace”.

The President reiterated that, “it is a source of pride that this citadel of military education has continued to live up to its responsibility in training and churning out excellent men and women for the Nigerian Armed Forces.” He said there was no doubt that both the physical and mental training received had prepared them to make meaningful impact on their chosen career.

http://www.google.co.za/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=standard%20of%20military%20training%20in%20nigeria&source=web&cd=5&cad=rja&ved=0CEcQFjAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fbeegeagle.%2F2012%2F04%2F22%2Fnigerian-military-still-below-international-standard-president-jonathan%2F&ei=ZQIKUsXXO8uFhQfu04DwBQ&usg=AFQjCNF24KFuK7GG901Z_IsThJNdDrPcFg
now look up and read your own posts, i put in bold letters. nigerian president was comparing nigerian m ilitary to the best in the world, not with south africa or even Egypt. the best military in the world like Israel, India, Sweden, Germany. those are the ones nigeria is compared with, not your south african military that has no single satellite to spy on their enemy and fight blind as a bat grin

quote :

"Said Jonathan: “Let me at this juncture reiterate the high premium this administration places on the welfare of the members of the Armed Forces. As commander-in-chief, I have repeatedly assured members of the Armed Forces of my desire to transform them into a modern military institution that the nation can be proud of. The transformation will make it comparable to other Armed Forces in advanced world in terms of welfare, equipment, training and professionalism . "

that tells you that nigeria has decided to become the best military in africa and overthrow Egypt in some years to come.

the malaysian APC was never produced. so whats your point ?

south african R4 rifle is a stolen Israeli Galil rifle and Russian AK-47 rifle.

"The R4 is a selective fire, gas-operated weapon that fires from a closed bolt. As with the Galil parent weapon, the operating system is derived from that of the AK-47. "

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R4_assault_rifle

south african Cheetah jet fighter is France's Mirage III jet with upgrade done by Israel and you mandela boys are claiming glory for it.

" It was first built as a major upgrade of the Dassault Mirage III by the Atlas Aircraft Corporation (later Denel Aviation) of South Africa (established 1965) in South Africa and is based on the Israeli Kfir fighter.

Most leading aviation publications[3] believe that Israel Aircraft Industries was involved in at least the initial stages of the upgrade, and that some of the upgrades components were sourced from Israel, though the SAAF refuses to either confirm or deny such speculation"

now @THIZA please stop wasting my time, i have posted all these things before and i am tired of repeating one post for 100 foolish south africans.

Thiza: @AUGUSTUS YOU WERE PRETENDING THAT NIGERIAN MILITARY ARE ENGELS WHEN IT COMES TO CORRUPTION.....HERE ARE THE FACTS:

A multi-billion naira scandal is brewing in Nigeria’s Ministry of Defence over failure of the ministry to announce the winner of last year’s tender for the supply of 6 Mi-17SH Military helicopters.

The helicopters are meant to beef up military surveillance against Boko Haram’s menace. So, instead of speeding up this
process, the country is awash with cheap Algerian made bomb detectors which are grossly ineffective against Boko Haram’s
bombs.

In December 2011, the Ministry of Defence invited eight companies to bid for the supply of six brand new Mi-17SH
Military Helicopters.

However, seven months after the completion of the tender’s process, the ministry is yet to announce the winner. Many
believe that the money for the purchase of the helicopters may have been looted. And the delay could have been lack of money in which officials hope to put in 2012 budget.
south african military is just as bad and corrupt too, i hate repeating old posts, but eat swallow this one ...

b.loody liar ! you and @andrewza were defending rooivalk helicopters with air to air missiles the moment i flew in F-7 jets to shoot down your defenseless helicopters trying to find and hit nigerian coastal artillery with 10km range mokopa missiles.

if Rooivalk stays within 15km range of valour frigates unkhonto anti-aircraft missile protection, then the valour warships are withing 15km from nigerian coastal artillery and all your warships will be cheap targets that will be sunk to sea bottom under heavy artillery bombardment grin

reason why @andrewza quickly changed story and ran away with your warships to 50km-100km off nigerian coasts for fear of artillery shells grin

Thiza: ANOTHER LIE DISGUISE AS A THRUTH BY NIGERIA

The Pf1 is very similar to the Malaysian DEFTEC AV4 that never entered production Source: Proforce Defence

Nigeria's Proforce Defence is currently developing the Pf1 light armoured vehicle aimed at the local military and police markets.

Bimbola Owojori, the head of business development at Proforce, told IHS Jane's that the Pf1 prototype will be launched soon.

According to information provided by Proforce, the LAV features an all-welded steel monocoque hull that in its basic form provides ballistic protection to STANAG 4569 Level 2 standard but can be upgraded to Level 4. Mine protection is to STANAG 4569 Level 2a but can be upgraded to Level 2b.

The baseline Pf1 has a typical combat weight of 7.85 tonnes and can carry eight dismounts and a crew of two.

IN a move that is now interpreted as a fore-runner to the planned review of her multilateral diplomacy, only the signals corps of Nigeria’s 1,200 troops (initially 900) in Mali is being left behind as the Federal Government withdraws its peace-keeping contingent from the West African country.

Until the beginning of last year, facts from the report of the UN Department of Peace-keeping showed that Nigeria had about 6,000 peace-keepers in various flash-points, a figure only surpassed by those of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

In the course of time, over 250,000 members of the Nigerian Armed Forces have participated in UN-sponsored missions worldwide, translating to 73 per cent involvement, having participated in 40 of the 55 UN peace-keeping missions.
see the part i put in bold from your own post...thanks for glorifying Nigeria again as the 4th largest UN Peace-keeping force in the world with one quarter of a million nigerian army soldiers so far done UN operations....and south africa is NOT on the UN military capacity list your source quoted tongue tongue tongue

Not need to even read your wiki rubbish. Boko and Mali confirm everything the fool says.

You have no capacity. It's a brilliant piece. The fool event accepts that South Africa has pipped you nicely there.
