Everyone misunderstood my post where I said Africa had no technology until the white man opened our eyes.

I am a Blackman, i wont insult my own skin color . We had some civilization before the white man came to Africa but 90% of Africa was rural and undeveloped. We had no real scientific technology and that was why the whole of Africa was defeated in combat by the white man who had guns when we had spears and swords.

I don't think anything was wrong with my post, I only repeated the history I was taught in Lagos primary and secondary school. Or was the history text book wrong?

I am more fanatical and passionate about black Africa than the south Africans here. I am a patriotic Nigerian to the core and bone marrow. No kidding, ready to die for my black race if necessary.

I was correcting the wrong impression the south Africans were making trying to act as if the black Zulu man was already advanced and the white man only added something's to it.

History books remain for us to learn about our past ancestors not to make us sad. We are a rapidly advancing continent now, but still get our technology base from the white man.

God gave the white man the gift of scientific technology and we cannot take it away from him. We have our own black man gift from God too....strength, mineral resources, warm weather....winter snow was -50 degrees ice frozen cold in USA Alaska region last month and white men died.

sheyie2007: My friend, durban has buildings than calabar but beauty-wise they both match. I've toured durban, and stayed in pta for a year dude.. capetown is the bomb that i must admit, but as for the rest we can compete
@Sheyie2007 , I will fully address the NNS ARADU issue from where you reached, good job my brother. So I will match the whole south African navy vs Nigerian navy.

I will address the issue from two points. first without Nigeria's two new stealth light frigates announced by finance minister okonjo iweala as under construction and second without those two new stealth warships which will be replacing NNS ARADU when they arrive from china.

I will post a naval combat between Nigeria and south Africa when I have time Thursday or Friday.

I will wait till all guys are done with the issue of Nigerian level of development in infrastructure. @GreenandGold insulted Nigeria calling us a country that does not function. I replied him and his people from south Africa started ranting as usual.

the white man built everything technological in all africa, the whole of africa was jungle bush before the white man came. we all owe him respect for opening our blind eyes, but you south africans dont want to acknowledge that. you dont mention the fact that south africa has 5 million white citizens who massively transferred european technology for over 100 years continuously from their white brothers to their home country south africa so that they can live good life like their fellow white brothers in europe.

dont take the glory that does not belong to you. all we west african nations are 100% black, no white citizens. our blacks have achieved far more than south african blacks since your 20 years independence.

give honour to whom honour is due, and respect those you did a solo journey long before you woke up from sleep.

i am off this topic. bye bye.

GreenandGold: Just to add, those cities will be powered by what? you have a chronic shortage of electricity, you don't even produce 33% of what we produce and we're low in population figures.

You have put your priorities all wrong! This cart before the horse is not going anywhere.
i said you are lost and locked up in cage of pretoria, the world has advanced outside your knowledge. eko atalantic city is a joint private and government project. also there is a law in nigeria now that ensures "due process" in contracts awards. if you get money and dont build, you go to jail. nigeria has advanced.

we said we would build a modern abuja city, and we built it, the land was dry semi-desert before, go to abuja now and see a paradise in africa, billions of dollars poured into abuja and it is one of the most beautiful cities in africa today. we did not fail, we succeeded.

you try travel out of your south african cage so that your eyes will open.

i dont want to be entangled in talks with south africans unless absolutely necessary, i dont want to waste my time.

google eko atlantic city lagos. beach resort lekki exists, i visited it when i was home briefly. many more places in nigeria too beautiful and too modern to describe.

for the late comer GreenandGold, you are lost behind time, nigeria and canada are in partnership signed to produce, use and export electricity in nigeria, contract signed last year.

the canadian company manitoba power is taking over nigerian electricity industry from last year 2012.

the news was all over here in north america as manitoba power of canada becomes the largest electricity company in north american continent because its customer base jumped from 1 million people in manitoba province of canada to 170 million people in nigeria.

what made china great ? population. its an asset in economics, not a liability if you have wisdom you use population power.

the south african electricity you boast of today, is it not the white men that built it ? or you think we dont know when you blacks were all sinking low in the slums of soweto ? the boer white man built south africa for his pleasure, but he didnt know that one day, the whole world will fight against apartheid and demand that he hands over to you.

stop boasting, you are reaping what you did not sow, you worked in the gold and mineral mines as labourers, all hand work no brain work ! the white used his brain and connections/influence of his white brothers in europe to modernize south africa for his own pleasure....he just lost it because the other countries of world turned against pietha botha and his fellow whites in pretoria.

we know your history...dont try to boast here !

i dont want to waste my time on this topic.

Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust:
GreenandGold : And we still have a functional country, try it you could become a fully functional state.

so whats the international definition of a functional country ? having 5 million whites spend 100 years to build up a modern country for 50 million blacks to inherit and boast of eating fruits from the white mans's 100 years labour ?

in case you are locked up in johannesburg and you have never traveled to west africa, see pics of nigeria below, the city of lagos is building a brand new world class ultra modern city from inside the atlantic ocean, on land reclaimed from deep inside the ocean, called eko atlantic city.

the city is already existing in phase I stage, and construction rapidly expanding to phase II stage, with billions of dollars pouring into it, a beautiful ocean front coastal city, when completed it will become as beautiful as Dubai.

not to even mention abuja, port harcourt, the tinapa world class tourism city in calabar, etc.

you south africans need to travel out of your pretoria cage and see the rest of africa so beautifully developed you will be shocked. dont let the white man continue to brainwash you that only south africa is a modern nation. you need mental and physical liberation from the cage of cape town.

I prefer a Nigeria China defense pact, but no plan by Nigeria to annoy America. I guess Nigeria abandoned North Korea ballistic missile technology transfer deal just because of the Nigeria USA defense pact of ex- president Obasanjo the iron man with lions heart, listens only to himself, not a bad leader , but stubborn to the extreme.

snydergp: So what's your point. What we wanted was a answer and links to your claims of procurement of Leopard II bombers
i cannot be held responsible for information i found on another website which i quoted and i mentioned my source of information very clearly, and i dont own or control that website. what if the flying leopard II deal is cancelled by nigeria, the same way nigeria cancelled F-8IIM Finback jet purchase after signing contract and we paid money for it ? see the text quote and weblink below,

"In August 2009 it was reported that Nigeria had signed an agreement with a Chinese firm for the supply of new combat jets - the (Finback) F-8IIM - to the service. Discussions on the new jets had begun in 2003. In August 2010 Reuters reported that Nigeria was a potential bulk buyer of the J-10 fighter"

http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/nigeria/air-force-equipment-intro.htm

same way south african deal foe A400M airbus was cancelled. same way many hundreds of weapons contracts are cancelled all over the world after orders have been made on paper, nothing new in that, we see it every day.

nigeria has been changing its mind several times since the F-7 jet issue, they paid for F-8 IIM Finback jet, they cancelled, they said its J-10 super B jet, then they said its flying leopard II jet, then they can say JF-17 Thunder jet or SU-27 jet Flanker tomorrow. i am not the president of nigeria, i dont control government weapons purchase contracts.

NIGERIAN - UKRAINE MILITARY PACT

You might want to find out what the details of the MOU on defence which junior Minister of Foreign Affairs, Viola Onwuliri signed with the Ukrainians during her visit to Kiev in August 2011.

you will also find in professor omo omoruyi's publication below that ex-president obasanjo has habit of signing anything he wanted without consulting nigerians, he signed a defence deal with ukraine about 2002 or so and never released details to the public, and he signed bakassi peninsula away to cameroun.

Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust:
on the henry vs snydergp, i appeal to both to make peace and if possible apologize to each other. andrewza and i could have been the first to fight like that, but i avoided it by stopping free communication with him. i only comment on his posts if he tries to say wrong things about my country nigeria, i react and stop him from misleading the public.

problem started when andrewza posted south african navy fast attack boats force and i replied with photos and data of a far superior nigerian navy fast attack boat force and i said we are the best in africa and among top 10 in the world when it comes to fast naval combat boats.

andrewza posted claim that southa african GV6 artillery has range of 100km when the tech data form manufacturer says maximum range is about 70km, i challenged him and he said his source is guiness book of records. i asked if he wants us to got to market and buy a book to prove his source or claim.

the south africans started attacking me from then in a new way. andrewza and myself called each other f00ls several times.

i posted nigeria ukraine defence deal or maybe defence pact. andrewza said to me several times that he has now put me in the box of crazy people, i felt very insulted, i called him idi0t, and i stopped talking freely with him.

we have a problem on this forum now because nigerians have started posting new and powerful weapons and the south africans can no longer laugh at nigerian weapons the way the did at the beginning of this topic/thread, we rae showing proofs of equal military power balance between nigeria and south africa and it is hitting them hard, plus the fact that we forced them to admit the truth that eqypt and algeria have military forces superior to south africa and that ethiopia and nigeria are equal in military power to south africa...then they realized they are far below the number one position they were claiming before at the start of this thread, then they became easily angry with the nigerians.

we can 'punch' each other in the face once in a while, but please lets avoid any insult on parents and religious faith, that will be going too far, please i beg you all to avoid any words or photos attacking anybody's parents or religious faith. than you sirs

nigeria has defence pact with pakistan too and pleep posted sources to prove that. a defence pact can vary in content and ususally are classified documents of which details are not easily released to public.

not all defence pacts include sending soldiers to support in war like nigeria did for sierra leone, it may just be to sell weapons with guarantee of quick delivery in war time, and guarantee of urgent weapons sales not only newly manufactured, but also sales by transfer from existing current armoury to save time of waiting for new production when war is already going on.

i am going to post valid and respectable sources from nigeria's government and intellectuals in the academia confirming nigeria's defence deal/defence pact with both Ukraine and the USA
anyone who disputes it is actually lost in the wilderness of arabia !

i will address the issue of south african navy claims that they dfeated of target locked a NATO force, its not a big achievement at all, and i have my proofs, i have researched into the event and analysed it. i will post it today or tomorrow.

i am also going to post facts to prove that south african navy CANNOT defeat nigeria navy in real war, we have different naval defence and attack plans. nigerian navy defence plan cannot be penetrated by even egypt, talk less of south africa. its too tight but hard to notice, only a well trained admiral will understand that it is intergrated and very effective.
i will post it, its a fairly long post with photos and sources, i need a day or two to get the time to write and post.

photo : modern verison of 67 units of MT-LB amphibious infantry fighting vehicle started arriving in nigerian army from 2003 purchased from Poland

i dont know much about ivory coast issue, i dont have neutral source of info. my guess is that gbagbo wanted to sit tight like late eyadema of togo. quattara won election even if he rigged, he won, but its hard to rig election and defeat an incumbent president who still has power as ruler.

nigeria and ecowas wanted peace at all costs in ivory coast, and so ready to pally with france to install quattara who won election and the world even the UN supported them for the sake of democracy.

south africa supported gbagabo for personal reasons of south african interest, they did not care if west africa boils from an ivory coast war, its not south african region that will suffer, its nigeria that will be deploying troops to die in peace keeping again.

this is my own view, no source is neutral enough to be trusted on the ivory coast story.

if south african military is as powerful as their boys claim, why are they not ranked in the world top 20 military powers ?

USA, Russia, China, India, France, Britain, Germany, Japan, Israel, South Korea, Turkey, Pakistan, Italy, Sweden, Ukraine, Iran, Canada, Spain, Denmark, Holland, Saudi Arabia, Greece, North Korea, Egypt....thats already 24 countries that each of them will defeat south africa, one on one in battle !

south africa is a nation of self over-rating madmen ! even Ethiopia will fight south africa to a standstill war and a goaless draw !

British latest stealth destroyer HMS daring $1.5 Billion warship, can the south africans prove that she was among the NATO ships their south african submarine targeted ?

one reason i reduced the time i spend posting here is because the south africans were becoming far too crazy, and the even think they can fight NATO ? i mean the real super powers of NATO, not the weak ones hiding under their canopy. for example, how do you use a German weapon to defeat germany ? are the Germans that build the weapon and sold it to you become F00LS ?

they say whom the gods want to destroy they first make him mad....i think these south africans are mad !

Real SAN don't care.

the above story of south african navy submarine target locking on NATO warships is and old event of 6 years ago.

no NATO country has remained at that level and that south african submarine is NO match for current submarines like the British navy has. thats why i said i wonder what kind of NATO countries could not find a submarine built by europeans, was British Royal navy warship there ? and Germany, France, Italy ? Or was it NATO navies like Holland, Belgium, Greece ?

British Royal Navy has the best 3 types of submarine in the world today, and that south african submarine is NOT on that list. British submarine HMS Ambush costs $1.5 Billion dollars and its many years, i mean very many years ahead of south african navy submarine SAS manthatisi.

anyone who wants to know current NATO power can open this weablink and see one of the deadliest submarines ever built, it can be in britain and detect a ship in far away america.

www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=5&ved=0CE4QFjAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailymail.co.uk%2Fsciencetech%2Farticle-2203110%2FDeadly-Hunter-Killer-submarine-capable-hearing-ship-leaving-port-New-York--sat-underwater-English-channel.html&ei=uQ9NUfPnFabI2wW33oCQDw&usg=AFQjCNHGtXaWfYZ8o-7TDyW7-6gjlCKjfQ&bvm=bv.44158598,d.b2I

south africans keep deceiving themselves that they can take on NATO naval forces. try the current stealth destroyer warship of British Royal navy HMS Daring built at cost of $1.5 Billion with the best technology in the whole of Britain, it will sink all south african submarines to the bottom of the ocean for every.

It can go in to 6m of water

And no african navy could bring a fleet strong enough for 2 of our subs.
...because all the Egyptian and Algerian submarines delivered in 2010 (Algeria) are commanded by no Admirals, they have only boy scouts and boys brigade voluntary organizations manning their submarines. Dream dreams and more dreams.

Real SAN don't care.
In real war no country has monopoly of attack, once an undetected submarine fires a torpedoe its location is known by all surface warships because incoming torpedo has traceable source. Then all surface ships and helicopters counter attack with anti submarine weapons and the submarine is not a spirit from heaven, its a huge piece of metal.

The NATO ships locked on by south African submarines are not named in the story. How many ships ? What caliber of technology is in those ships? Are they modern stealth warships? Which NATO countries, Britain & Germany warships or Greece and Belgium warships? We don't have all those details.

I don't just jump to conclusion with half information, unless I am sure with good reasons.

In real war a submarine is a hit and run weapon or else it becomes detected by firing one single torpedo as weapons leave trail on their pathway and electromagnetic waves detect moving objects.

No war record in human history shows where submarines win a war, the ocean is too large and navies don't operate on land for war. Navies sit down in water armies take territory and rule countries on land.

I have never heard where 2 south african submarines can operate under the nose of 40 Africa Egyptian anti submarine helicopters and not be detected while the submarine fires a weapon that can be seen even by human eyes when it makes trail wakes on water approaching to hit a ship, and 40 American made Egyptian anti -submarine helicopters never find in an destroy it ?

shows reason why I stopped direct argument with south Africans on this forum.

I have heard them say south African navy can challenge American navy. Very strange indeed

andrewza: we never siad ecomog would not support Nigeria. only that in a naval battel 1 type 209 sub could take on every war ship in subshara africa throw in the second and it is every warship in africa.

No one has said we could invade Nigeria the civlian popultion alone is just to big.
but it dose not chage the facts. The SANDF is a better force.
i dont really want to talk to you south african guys again if i can ignore you, but i wont let you deceive people here.

south african submarines cannot take on every warship in africa. Algeria and Egypt have over 50 combined powerful anti-submarine helicopters and many submarines, and many warship frigates with full anti-submarine capabilities. will they be sleeping when south african submarines attack them ? you plan for war by over-estimating south african military capability and under-estimating other countries military as if they are just boys scouts or boys brigade voluntary organizations.

Egypt alone has 40 american made anti-submarine helicopters.

Algeria has two valour class frigate warships ordered and paid for, and more submarines too on order. Egypt too has more submarines on order.
check their navy data on wikipedia.

Nigeria has two sophisticated stealth light frigates with very modern anti-submarine capabilities on order. Nigerian Navy and Air force currently have anti-submarine aircraft with although details of their capabilities not disclosed to public.

all these stories south africans tell here on internet, when real war comes, they will know the firepower of other african countries like egypt, algeria, anigeria, and ethiopia. its easy to fight war on internet, let the real battle start, they you know that other countries are equal to, and some are more powerful than south africa.

south african submarines cannot operate a naval blockade too close to west african coastline, our waters are shallow in many coastal areas, only certain shipping routes are passable for submarine or else the submarine will run aground stuck in the sea bed and damaged. even nigerian NNS Aradu has run aground on west african coast of nigeria, thats why we now build a the most powerful small and medium naval vessels for in africa with 300 naval vessels from 10m t0 95m sizes in nigerian navy.

south africans should stop misleading people here, i dont want to be dragged into this same old topic again.

Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust:
B.afran air force had combat aircrafts before nigerian air force and was using its air power against nigeria. thats a biafran air force combat aircraft photo.

B.iafra war against Nigeria is africa's biggest war in history with total of over half a million soldiers combating on both sides. later both air forces had over 30 jets fighters and bombers as well as propeller combat aircraft. both countries had several navy warships too and used all.
B.iafra was not just a rebel movement, it was a break away country with its own government, military, currency notes B.iafran Pound, diplomats and everything that makes a country. it was officially recognized as a country by france, ivory coast, south africa, and others.

B.iafra was NOT easy to defeat because it was actually the same nigerian army, navy and airforce now divided into two halves, and the quality of soldiers and officers was the same and equal. they were all former colleagues in nigerian military now split into two different sides to fight each other.

its not the weak rebel war that some ignorant people think it was. B.iafra civil war was actually nigerian military versus nigerian military divided into two sides by tribe and geographical region.

CAMEROONPRIDE: is Nigeria a Pakistan and Ukrainian puppet? undecided
click this weblink http://allafrica.com/stories/201204110277.html

pakistani four army and navy one star generals are on a study tour of nigerian military we are not under them, its mutual.

ukraine defence deal of about 2002 ex-president obasanjo's time was not released to public till today, no details. the old man is a smart army general and world class diplomatic guru, he went to do the details by himself and signed, then he came back home and kept quiet like a smart army general and politician. it was no secret that he signed a deal, but the details of the deal remain secret then, but now current events helps the public start to interpret what he signed.

we had a similar type of military deal with Egypt in the 1960s to 1970s. during B.iafra war, nigeria had NO jet fighter at all, but see what happened :

quote from wikipedia.

"...The Nigerian air force did not get a combat capability until a number of Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17 aircraft were presented by the Soviet Union during the Nigerian Civil War. On 13 August 1967, following several damaging attacks by Biafran air force aircraft, the USSR started delivering first MiG-17s from Egypt to Kano IAP, simultaneously sending a large shipment aboard a Polish merchant. Initially two MiG-15UTIs (NAF601 and NAF 602), and eight MiG-17s (NAF603 to NAF610) were supplied to Nigeria.[4] Later six Il-28 bombers, flown by Egyptian and Czech pilots, were delivered from Egypt and stationed at Calabar and Port Harcourt, and were used to bomb military and civilian targets...."
