^^^^^^^ When they tell you they play "sophisticated politics", what they actually mean is that they are they best strategist in the country.., pray tell me; how can you boldly and proudly lay claim to sophistication in politics when all you do when you are not in opposition is to position yourself actively, intellectually and strategically to grab the biggest crumbs from the fulani sickening table?1. ZIK and your forefathers decided not to let us go our separate ways and instead teamed up with Hausa folks just for ZIK to do boy boy and figure head to Tafa Balewa 2. Again, Ekwueme was second fiddle and boy boy to Shagari 3. When your rebel leader aka ojuku returned from his coward exile, he not only quickly teamed up with hausa folks to beg for his pension, sold you off to IBB by asking you his people to vote for IBB and not your own village candidate. 4. Nearly all your leaders are still Hausa boy boy just like soludo is still boy boy to Atiku https://i55.tinypic.com/11lo3zc.jpg https://www.osundefender.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/soludo-atiku.jpg https://theeagleonline.com.ng/news/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Alhaji-Atiku-Abubakar-and-Prof.-Charles-Soludo-480x340.jpg You people are just too ignorant and clueless, you don't even know your people and history... |
Madam eleke puff puff with all her alleged education still was clueless and didn't know the meaning of Adjourned, they had to drag her asss out like ileya goat..lmao 1. She walked in smillling and even carried the big pile of budget nonsense to the committee's table 2. All of a sudden she was sick @ question and answer time 3. Committee said OK madam, go an take care of yourself and take expo with you to study and return in 2 weeks with answer 4. Again all of a sudden she wasn't sick and ready to answer 50 questions 5. Committee said, madam don't worry, just take expo and return in 2 weeks, this meeting is adjourned. 6. Madam eleke puff puff begin throw tantrums all over the place, she even claimed human (lmao) rights as if she be refugee inside concentration camp....lmao. The woman dull no be small. 7. Madam eleke puff puff demanded to be heard by force by force and the chairman must bow down to her because she's special and deserve preferential treatment.. 8. Chairman said, look here woman, you are not running the show here and this is not your ministry where you call the short so get a grip and get out of here before we throw your asss out... 9. Still, madam eleke puff puff no sabi fallow simple instruction, she no sabi obey and respect authority and instead was disrespectful, rude and unprofessional... 10. Chairman had to drag the disorderly and rambunctious woman out of his committee room. ...... >>>>>>> fast forward to 2 weeks, we hope she don learn her lesson and ready with serious and honest answers to the 50 questions.. |
IKEMBA NNEWI: Dude, it will be nothing short of a miracle if anybody in your ancestry(Both past and present) can match half this woman's intelligence! Bloody Hater! http://www.igbofocus.com/html/the_igbo_problem_can_be_fixed.html You clowns don't impress me, you just depict what we know about you every time you blow your odious village akpu breath... |

fijiano202: most Nigerians are deluded which is a big Prob, calling this Kinda outburst on twitter a voice of Reason shows how beclouded our youths are.Are u trying to tell me this is a mature Response? how can someone educated/Ex Minister post this kinda rubbish rant on Twitter.am not in anyway in support of inproper behavior at workplace but i expect more from herHow do you criticize and demean other people then turn around and do the same thing you are blasting and criticizing them for? Talk about gross cluelessness, thoughtlessness and hypocrisy. Sad to know this ignorant and mindless woman used to be a federal minister. |
manny4life: Lol... before he adjourned the meeting, did he allow her speak? Yes or NO? He needs to jam the type of Eric who will put him in his place...nonsense.Yes he did. ....but no more talking after adjournment.. Lesson learned... |
manny4life: What are you smoking? Who said her sickness was fake? Where you not the one shouting that the Reps did right by sending her away? Whether she faked it or not, bottom line, WAS SHE READY TO ANSWER THEM OR NOT? Answer your own question before you begin ranting. She was sick and at the same time ready to answer grueling 50 detailed questions with detailed answers and even with her sickness, she still managed to get in a fight. She was sick alright. What supper woman in deed. lol. Lol @ incompetency, like I said, if I were her, I would delay it... You don't like it, GO AND JUMP OFF. There's no Nigerian law stated that I have to complete a task within allotted time period, I've had people who did it to me and I've done it to people including my boss, as well as people who have done it to others, it's not incompetence, it's simply completing it ON MY OWN TIME... THE REPS DON'T LIKE IT, THEY SHOULD JUMP OFF AS WELL. Incompetence is not against the law, but it gets you fired... And the reps are not jumping anywhere obviously, they checked that egotistical and over pampered woman and put her in her place. The people of Nigeria pay her salary and not the other way around.. She runs her corrupt and borrow borrow ministry and not the NASS. |
manny4life: I'm in no mood for arguments, be it as it may, the honorable needs to jam the type of Eric Holder, that's when he would know he's only but a lawmaker.Did the chairman in the US adjourned and Eric Holder kept running his mouth? Answer = No Apples and Oranges. Abeg find better argument and logic.. |
omenka: Over 72% on recurrent expenditure yet you tell me you are targeting job creation! What kind of fools do these pple take us for?The are so out of touch and tone deaf. |
manny4life: 1. Apples and apples: both came for a testimony, both had a committee present, both scenarios the testifiers were sick/ill, both braved it to come either way. Did you watch her confirmation? 50 questions was an "UNDERSTATEMENT". Confirmation that started around 10am prompt till about 6pm in the evening, what do you think they were doing? Laughing with her abi? The confirmation lasted for four days, abegi... Both are the same. Still apples and oranges. Different issues and different agendas. Again, the Chairman in Abuja made a prudent decision to excuse her based on her account that she was sick. That was a very considerate and humane decision so please lay off this other irrelevant stuff in the US. 2. When you have exams and you're sick, do you go for your exams either way or do you postpone it ? I know I go for my exams unless if it's extraordinary, which according to NOI, though she was sick (probably early season flu), why not subject her to the question when she told you that she was prepared to answer the questions. Fact remains the ill-mannered way he responded to her was uncalled for. Like someone rightly pointed, he did not jam DAM or Aviation minister... Nonsense. This is not a school exam or exam for promotion or anything similar. We are talking about a testimony before the house that could be canceled or rescheduled based on anything. She deserved the chairman's response because she was rude and disrespectful to the chairman. She had no business trying to reverse the man's decision after the man adjourned the meeting. Adjourn means over so she should have packed her load and exit. Trying to have her way was rude and unprofessional. 3. I never said he did anything wrong, at least hear the testifier, that's a sign of respect. Yes we know you're the boss, how do you go to a court and you feel a judge doesn't hear you out? You're the boss, but before making a ruling, at least, even judges hear pleas, chairmen of responsible committee hear statements. Go to YouTube and watch some U.S. Hearing and see how their chairmen respect those who testify. Even if they know you're lying or whatever, they give you that deference by listening before handing down their decision....SIMPLE. Trust me, arguing with the judge after your case is adjourned means you are trying to go to jail for contempt of the court. Sign of respect means her respecting the man's decision and shutting her mouth while she leaves... That's respect. Again, adjourn means over.. adjourn to end something (such as a meeting or session) for a period of time 4. You don't dismiss people like that, like I previously stated, if you're in a court, or a hearing and you were treated with disrespect, you think that's appropriate? Lack of respect and decorum or should I say public exposure is the cause for all this, despite the education one has, being learned is a different thing. Besides, the law makers are not the law, RESPECT is reciprocal...As a minister of the federation, courtesy demands that the Chairman and committee were supposed to listen to her and not hush her, anyway, I'm glad how she put them in their place. Stop using the court analogy because once the judge hits the gavel like the chairman did, it's over, it means see you next time. It doesn't mean go ahead and speak, it means it's time to STFU and keep it moving. Running your mouth after means contempt and possible jail time. I just posted the definition of adjourn for you and you can even look it up. Learn how to respect and obey authority and simple instructions instead of trying to have things done your way because you think you are special.. |
manny4life: I like the fact they're throwing good questions at her but what you expressed was exactly my thought. Apparently the lawmakers hadn't done their homework, so they dismissed her because they knew if an exchange ensued, they won't be a match for her. So they intelligently asked her to provide it in writing, who's deceiving who? Well, I trust Aunty NOI, she won't disappoint us, however, if I were her, I would delay my response for another two weeks. Kindly send them a nice letter stating for good reasons I need more time. All of a sudden, it's not about her faking sickness it's because of fear? lol @ sending letter saying I need more time. You people don't even hide your incompetency, crooked state of mind and corrupt mentality no more.. |
manny4life: Though unrelated, but just wanted to point this out. I remember clearly when a U.S. appointee was going for her confirmation, she broke her ankle that made her stay in the hospital for two days, upon leaving the hospital she appeared before the Senate. Even while the Chairman excused her, she said she preferred to go forward with the process. The chairman respected it and moved forward. That's respect.1. Apples and oranges. The chairman respected and and was very humane by excusing her because of her illness and the issue on the table here is very different from what you referenced in the US. They didn't have 50 questions deserving detailed answers. 2. The chairman here and in the US have every right to run their committee anyway they want and the chairman here was within his right to excuse her because of her ill health which was a very prudent discussion. Why subject a sick woman to 50 questions grueling session? 3. The fact that the chairman in the US didn't excuse his subject doesn't mean the one in Nigeria did the wrong thing. 4. Regardless of her health situation or desire to stay and answer the questions, over still means over and adjourn still means adjourn. She was out of line with her tantrums and trying to override the chairman's decision to stay. That was rude and very disrespectful. She's not above the law and she must respect authority just like the next man.. She didn't respect the man and his decision so why expect any from him? |
azeezhy: Does anyone ever wonder why this so called ecomy goddess was reassigned to ministry of tourism during OBJ's era after she had been used to achieve debt relief and how she forced herself out of the government only to reappear as the lord of the manor in mr GEJ's government?I'm asking, please tell me.. |
Ngwakwe: What then do we believe when every news item has been politicised? In another report. This is the cover up lies they came up with after the fact. Who's in the best position to know the As and Bs of the EFCC if not the secretary of that organization? The secretary obviously testified appropriately, but as usual, they came up with this other rubbish to cover up their incompetence and shortcomings.. |
manny4life: My point is simple unless you're trying hard not to grasp it. The house has APC as the majority. About 9% of the budget from last year was for the house. Since they're the majority, they should move a motion to reduce their pay, even a 20% reduction will translate into billions used for capital expense. As a matter of fact, if they call themselves progressives, reducing pay for the highest earners will be a starting point. Every money is needed, at least, it would no longer be 20% spent on all 170million, that number can double up after all the reductions and savings. Now that's what I'd like to see from "progressives"I referenced what goes to the government and the people, not who should do this or should have done that. There's a clear difference between what's going on and what should be done about what's going on. What should be done about the situation is a different topic which I don't feel like discussing with you based on your deceptive and one sided reasoning. You want to talk about whatever political seat counting and advantage that manifested just 2 days ago to back up your partisan nonsense, but at the same time conveniently ignored who was responsible and who should have done something about it with almost 2 decades majority. The balance of power is still here/there because the senate is still on the other side so your argument is still tragically flawed. This is why I hardly tolerate jokers like you, you think and reason with emotions and sentiments instead of your brains. |
Tinubu receives US Black Mayors’ highest award https://www.osundefender.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/tinubu-award.jpg Former Governor of Lagos State and national leader of the opposition Action Congress of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu made this assertion while receiving an award by the National Conference of Black Mayors, based in America in his office. |
manny4life: Since APC now controls the lower house, let's see them perform their magic. After all , a bulk of the recurrent is going towards their salaries allowance and expenditures. I dare them to collectively move a motion on salary reduction and push the savings towards capital expense. And this alters what I said cos I don't get your point? |
While watching ChannelsTV 10pm news yesterday and seeing this lady - Ngozi Okonjo Iweala present the 2014 National Budget to the 'NASS', I said to those around me, 'See Nigeria's next president of Igbo extraction!'. I don't care who you are or where you come from, Ngozi is well capable. And to think that she has maturedly waded through the murky waters of Nigerian politics and raised her head high above all the unwarranted insults and ethnic attacks of all sorts, she scores extremely high in my book. Never for once has she retorted in the same venom and bitterness rather she calmly and calculatedly goes about her impressive wrk of seeing the general economic devt of the nation and she only replies when absolutely necessary -as she did the mumu 'Rep' on TV last night who was definitely high on some cheap substance. So I say once again, Nigeria here is your next president - of Igbo etxraction - after GEJ.
You not only know a lot about cheap substance, you smoke a lot of it too... |
You have 10 kobo, but you spent 8 kobo on yourself and sprinkle the rest 2 kobo on 170 million people and even out of the 2 kobo gan def, you are still going to steal and embezzle out of it and the aso rock dullard and greedy family are still going claim 1 billion for food... Worthless clowns.. |
Chio! Some people will die of high blood pressure seeing that pikture
Can they help it really..? What's a thread like this without the poor villagers and their rancid village breaths.. |
Ngwakwe: See Common Entrance questions.Unfortunately for you, the questions was posed to the minister and the person the Nigerian tax payers pay to look after our economy and money, not you. |
aviazuva: Truly the reps man was too arrogant. maybe because she is from another party. What level of control? Babbling on and on after they showed her mercy because of her ill health or after the chairman said the meeting is adjourned? That's the problems with manyNigerians, we can not respect authority and simple rules. |
Ceorhemz: sir if you were an eyewitness of the incident, should i take you for who you are by what you have just spoken. How do you want me to believe that you are not speaking out of prejudice like so many on nairaland. Even if A THIEF is caught, and you are adressing him in the law court, you should be civil enough to allow him speak and not rubbish him. Have you ever listened to mtn customer care operators, how they talk and respect their customers with courtesy. That is how we should behave towards our fellowmen. He was actualy not respecting the office of that woman by what he did yesterday. And i was not happy with it at all. I'm not in any political party, i'm not a tribalist or a religious fanatics. I receive everyone. But when we see a truth, i believe we should say it. I'm not saying the woman is clean or dirty, but she was not treated fairly yesterday and that in the face of the publicPlease, don't bore me with your emotions, over means over and adjourned means adjourned. Respect our democratic institutions and follow simple rules. |
