Its all CULTURAL, and must be tolerated, for peace to reign.
Some cultures in Nigeria abuse people from morning till night. Its no surprise to see them abuse the President anyhow, and still claim to be the most sophisticated part of this nation.
So, your culture allows you to insult and abuse other leaders like Buhari, tinubu, fashola, aregbeshola and other like you people do on nl every day

I'm talking about the same judiciary that let go pension thieves, the same judiciary that let ibori off the hook, the same judiciary and so on and on.....yes, that judiciary.

frankwhite776: Amaechi has plotted his way out of 2015.his problemz has just begun. Apc will lead him to kwn where. I Luv him for his courage but his ll only end in court cases.
And pdp led him to where exactly? Destroy his stateq, undermine his authority, endanger his life by withdrawing his security detail, by denying and taking away his state's resources?

Talk warped and dangerous brotherly love....smh

oshyno: Invariable what Amechi is saying is that FG collected Rivers oil wells. Soo joining APC he will get them back ? Amechi wasn't it a court of competent jurisdiction that ruled on d case , or are u saying FG paid court to rule against u. That also means the court that brought u in as a governor was bought by d same FG ur demonizing. Fear God ooo.
Are you not talking about the most corrupt judicial system known to man where the powerful get whatever favorable judgement they desire? Are you not talking about a worthless judiciary that adjurns cases inderinitly just to let corrupt people run around to enjoy their loot? Are you not talking about a non independent judiciary where cash and carry remains their legal currency and judicial decisions?

How sad indeed.

And they keep insulting everyone as "parasites". Bunch of id10ts from the creek.
Jonathan knows these people and he looks the other way when he is confronted with fact. Amaechi bought two helicopter to comb the area for criminal activities but Jonathan overuled him and the two helicopters are sitting in Port-Harcourt today. This is the reason they fear Buhari so much. With Buhari at the helm of affairs, business as usual becomes a thing of the past.
They are misguided and tribal elements and they can not reason beyond their misguided and tribal noses..

Jonathan of course can't do anything because he's part of the same corrupt and rotten system.

This is the real reason why they blow up pipelines. The crooked and criminal elements team up with corrupt and crooked public officials to blow up the pipelines and award repair contracts to themselves and then share the loot while they leave behind a ravaged and desecrated landscape for their unborn children to deal with..

This is what evil men do in the creeks with your government standing by as the facilitator...

When real works starts on the lag-ibd expressway, it will be obvious, at the current pace, it will take like 15 years for the work to be completed.

Let me test if you passed common entrance, If 3months is spent on 2km of the roads , how long will it take to complete 130km ? neglectlng the longer time needed to construct needed bridges on the road? Show your workings.

Why Jonathan cannot fight corruption

Before the inception of this government, the fear of the EFCC was the beginning of wisdom. The agency did not only prosecute public officials, it also made life uncomfortable for big time fraudsters or 419ners. The eagle eyes of the agencies also visited the private sector. It forced corporate players to imbibe accountability. For example, many high ranking bank executives were brought to trial.

Alas, those are forgotten years. In President Jonathan era, the agencies have all gone to sleep. They are not even hibernating. They have all shut down. Now all pending cases of corrupt officials die a natural death because our president does not give a damn. A while ago, the EFCC kicked up some dust in the failed Lagos-Ibadan Expressway contract breach. But it was all a ruse. I did predict then on this page that the agency was chasing shadows. It will not be an exercise in hyperbole that the legacy

brabus: I wish you were right but what do you have to say about a road where all the adjoining roads are totally in deplorable condition.

Can you imagine how tight the road in the picture will be by the time they introduce the drainage and other road furnitures. Come to think of it, the picture was taken at a major "T" junction.

Oga payless, this is issue about my state and especially the community which I reside so the opinion of the direct beneficiaries counts most.

Attached is the picture of one of the adjoining roads. Imagine what life will be like if 80% of the roads in the community are just a little fair than the one in the picture attached.
Hare we have a thread with pictures of so many roads under construction and you pulled up some nameless and random picture to prove what point? dirtymoney: AKWA IBOM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
The gateway to these riches is through the Akwa Ibom International
Airport, situated in Uyo, the state capital. Although conceived in 2001,
construction by Alcon Nigeria Ltd did not begin until 2006 and it was
opened for business in 2009.
Phase One of the project has now been completed and the airport
boasts a runway of 3,600 metres, expandable to 4,200 metres, the
second-longest runway in Nigeria after Lagos, with an impressive 190
approach lights. The airport can accommodate most current
commercial aircraft, including wide-bodied planes such as the Boeing
747 and Airbus A340. It can even provide ample space for the Airbus
A380 with its wingspan of 79.8m.
Arik Air was the first airline to fly into the new airport in September
2009, exactly 22 years after the creation of the state. Then came Dana
Air, followed by Aero, which began daily flights between Lagos and
Uyo in June 2010. Additionally in July this year Aero initiated daily
flights between Abuja and Uyo.
Who are you people deceiving with that village airport?

Akpabio built that crap for himself and his ego and there is nothing to that landing strip beyond the noise they make everyday.
