stiyke:
My dear i wonder oohh, and those that fear them na wa for them.
I wonder why some nigerians are scared of dying especially for something worth it. Death will come to everyone and you dont even know when, no one can guarantee his tomorrow.
So if you have a boko close to you while he is about blowing himself up or killing you and/or others, do it to him first b4 its done to you. Even if you escape boko ram bombs or bullets you will still DIE! (armed robbers bullets, potholes on the road, accident, cancer, AIDS, drunk driver, police accidental discharge you can even add to the list). True christians shouldnt be scared of dying.
so if everybody will die someday, and that nobody can guarantee his tomorrow, why cant u just go lie on the express make trailer run over u, or u go jump into the lagoon.
Oga, it is everybody's responsibility to ensure he/she do not die an unnatural death. Boko Haram is a scourge that must be completely wiped off ASAP.

It tell us that these people dont have anything to offer the populace. If they can earnmark such huge amount for fuelling and lubricating(what?), it means all their promises on power can work, dat's why they ve made adequate provision for themselves in the budget at the expense of the poor masses.

NNPC senior staff to remain unpaid till April
They haven’t been paid salaries since December
Article | January 24, 2012 - 4:32pm | By Patience Ogbo
Senior staff of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) have been informed that they will not be paid their salaries until April.

The senior members of staff have been expecting the management to pay their December salary and 13th month allowance but were shocked when, during a management meeting on Monday, they were told that NNPC is broke and cannot pay them until end of March 2012.

A senior staff, who requested anonymity, said the management appealed to them to keep the issue a secret, especially from the press.

"This cannot work because we have to explain to our wives why we cannot provide money for house keeping, this is the beginning of a new school session and we are expected to pay our children fee so hiding it as the management requested is not possible,” the source said.

“It is very sad that a top government agency like the NNPC will be broke and unable to pay salaries nobody will believe it but it is the truth.”

Investigation further revealed that the management is sourcing for funds to pay the junior staff so as to avoid any harassment and strike from the junior workers.

"You know that the junior staff will not be understanding so that is why the management is sourcing for fund to pay them because they believe that the senior staff can bear the situation better than the senior staff."

It was also gathered that the staff members, in a bid to make ends meet, have resorted to petty business while at work.

A pregnant woman who visited the NNPC hospital at Victoria Island for her maternity check up last week said pregnant women had to wait endlessly in a queue as the nurse attending to them was busy selling air fresher and perfume .

"I went to the NNPC hospital as early as early as 9.00am last week Thursday but I could not leave until evening as the queue was too long. And when it was finally my turn to see the nurse, I was surprised that the nurse was busy selling perfume and air freshener, so that was what delaying us outside. I had to buy her air freshener before she will attend to me, so the situation is terrible."

PoliticsRe: Still On The The Fuel Subsidy: Will NNPC Sell Locally Refined PMS For N141 by agog: 4:02pm On Jan 04, 2012
very good question. unless NNPC is made to buy from FG at international prices and the profit added to subsidy savings, there wont be level-playing ground, and this is sheer exploitation of the masses.
