Better day lies ahead for this country. If all these can be judiciously executed without diversion as is the case in the past, the impact will be tremendous.
God Bless PMB, the 73-year old man with guts and political will to effect the needed change!!

FamilyRe: The Law, The Husband, The Wife Or The Man, Who Is To Blame For This? (snapshots) by agog: 7:40pm On Apr 06, 2016
Thw husband is to blame. Here are my reasons:
1. what man will caught his wife cheating on their matrimonial bed with another man and let it just go like that without creating terrible scene there.
2. If the man had informed the wife family and his family as well, they will have been able to testify in his favour at the court.
3. also if their neighbor had been aware through the scenes he created, the wife might probably not commit suicide. She is aware that her is now an open secret but she committed suicide because she didn't know the next action her husband is likely to take. And if she does the neighbours would have some things to say in his favour at the court.
4. he also failed to properly identify the man. If he had, he would have exonerated himself of the primary reason why his killed herself in the first place.
PoliticsRe: Shocking: Fayose Claims Chibok Girls Abduction Was Fabricated To Oust Jonathan by agog: 7:59am On Mar 31, 2016
how can Fayose be misleading the populace for God's sake? So the Chibock secondary school that was also burnt down was a gimmick just to oust GEJ? the parents of the abducted girls that has been crying for the past two years were 'rented' to do so? The pictures of the girls shown by shekau in his youtube video was also faked?

Fayose desist from this otherwise God's wrath will visit you.....

FamilyRe: Which Is The Happiest Day In A Woman's Life? by agog: 5:13pm On Mar 10, 2016
based on the category you listed, i will say its number 2 - the day she walk down the aisle with her heartthrob!!
My basis are:
1. can't be the day a man proposes to her because the man may eventually not marry her as she may later dump her;
2. cant be the day she has her first intimacy because marriage preceded intimacy in an ideal scenario and if the first intimacy was before walking down the aisle, then it's less importance as the day he got married in the presence of both families and friend;
3. cant be the day she has her first child or the day she gives that child away in marriage - these are direct products of her blessed and fruitful marriage in the first place!!
PoliticsRe: My Experience Today At A Filling Station by agog: 12:33pm On Mar 10, 2016
Why hiding their identify? Please, mention the filling station so that Nairalanders will be wary of them.

elveco:
Due to a long queue in one of the filling station in Lagos this evening, I decided to buy fuel in my 20 litre galon. When it was my turn, I told the attendant to sell fuel of N2000 to me and she said that out of the N2000 that she will sell fuel of N1800 to me. I objected and told her that N200 is much that she should take N100, which she accepted and supposedly dispensed fuel of N1900 into the gallon.

The point here is that the fuel is a little bit above half of the gallon. Fuel of N1900 is supposed to be 21 litres plus. But it wasn't close to that.

Which way Nigeria?
Could this be part of the change?
PoliticsRe: We Won’t Let Dad Down - Ocholi’s Children by agog: 3:00pm On Mar 09, 2016
mag God be with you dear.

Aaron James Ocholi, son of the late Minister of State for Labour and Employment, James Ocholi, said yesterday that the four children left behind by the late Minister will strive to fulfil their parents’ dream for them.

In a brief emotional remark when Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, visited the family, Aaron said though they missed their parents greatly, they were not hopeless.

He said: “We are not hopeless; we are really proud of the man he was. We’ll continue to pray to God to comfort us. We will not feel dejected. We will strive to become in life what he always wanted us to be and taught us to be. The First Lady also came here yesterday and assured us we are not alone.”

He expressed the gratitude of the family, particularly his siblings, to President Muhammadu Buhari, the Vice President and the nation for their show of love since the death of their parents and brother.

Addressing the children, Prof. Osinbajo described the late Ocholi as a committed Christian and patriot who was always ready to make a sacrifice for the course he believed in.

The Vice President, who arrived at the No 4 Dagash Street residence of the late Minister at 4:45pm, said: “We have lost someone we held in high esteem who was well respected. It is unfortunate that this happened.”

Osinbajo recalled the late Ocholi’s role in the formation of the All Progressives Congress (APC), accepting to take the position of Deputy National Legal Adviser even when the National Legal Adviser was not a lawyer.

He said such sacrifice and humility will not be in vain. “It is incredible that this happened. You really have to seek God’s comfort,” he told the family.

Signing the condolence register, the Vice President wrote: “My brother learned and spiritual, your memorial will live on and will be source of pride and joy to us all. May the Lord comfort these young children and give us cause to rejoice in them, Amen.”

The National Working Committee of the APC held a valedictory session in honor of the late Minister who was praised for his sacrifice towards the party’s formation.

Acting National Chairman Segun Oni who presided over the session directed that all flags at the party’s national secretariat be flown at half mast for the next three days in honour of the late Ocholi.

Oni said: “All we can do is to surrender to the will of God. Those who have come across James Ocholi should take one or two lesson from him. He was driven more by service. He took every opportunity for service without considering what will come out of it.

“He was the only member of Federal Executive Council who visited the secretariat frequently. Sometimes, he will meet us in a meeting and he will advise us on the legal implications of some of the decisions we were taking.

“He was always willing to give and was passionate about the party. If we can have a few more people to contribute like him, Nigeria will be much better for all of us. All we can do is to pray that God will console and condole the family he left behind.

“He gave a good example of what Christians should do generally. I Pray God stand in the gap for his family. I wish, as Nigerians, we will have no reason to sorrow over our stars again.

On behalf of the party, we send our condolences to the President, the Vice President and all members of the Federal Executive Council, the government and people of Kogi State through the governor and to his family. We pray God will abide with each of them and console all of us.”

Other members of the NWC took time to eulogise the late Ocholi, concluding that the party has lost one of the most accessible ministers.

National Vice Chairman, South, Prince Hilliard Etta described the late Ocholi as a “perfect gentleman”, saying “you could smell his humility miles away”. “He was one of the most approachable ministers in the cabinet,” he added.

APC National Secretary Mai Mala Buni said the late Ocholi lived a fulfilled life, describing him as a committed party member.

National Organising Secretary Osita Izunaso said most of the provisions in the party’s constitution were made possible by the late minister and recalled that he actually administered the oat of office on the NWC members.

The Deputy National Chairman, North, Senator Lawal Shuaibu, pointed out that even though he was not a member of the party’s executive, the late Ocholi was prepared to offer his legal services to ensure that the party was well represented in court.

“He was always prepared to accept any kind of challenge. He once told me that if he had time, he would tell me how he survived after his parents died. We never sat to discuss that. He was always full of energy. Always ready to go about doing assignments given to him.”

National Treasurer Bala Mohammed Gwagwarwa said: “The late Ocholi was a great party man and a frontline agent of change. We lost a friend at a time he was needed most.”

National Woman Leader Hajiya Ramatu Tijani Aliyu said: “We lost an illustrious son who always stood for progressive ideas.”

Ocholi’s last word at Kaduna church

Minister of State for Labour and Employment, James Ocholi, who died along with his wife and son in an accident on the Abuja -Kaduna highway last Sunday, attended a church service in Kaduna where he made some spiritual and political statements.

He was invited by the General Overseer of Restoration Bible Church, Bishop Tunde Bolanta, to partake in the final day of a week-long activities of the church in Kaduna.

During the service, according to some of the members, who pleaded not to be named, when it was Ocholi’s turn to speak, he advised the worshippers to beware of the end of time because of high rate of abnormalities in the society.

Ocholi was also quoted to have urged Nigerians to be patient with the President Buhari administration, adding that the hardship being experienced would soon end.

The late Minister was quoted to have advised that the people must put God first in whatever they are doing and added that Nigerians should always pray for the APC government to succeed.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: How To Influence The Interviewer To Your Favour by agog: 2:08pm On Mar 03, 2016
good one op.
@ everyone attending an interview soon, all the best. pls

Honestyboy:
I must severally warn you that as much as the interviewer want to be seen as a friend, he or she will do everything with his or her reach and every trick in the book to make sure you fail as a result of his or her deep resolve to determine if you are the right candidate for the job in question. But your aim is to make sure you succeed. The only way you can accomplish this, is to influence and colonize the interviewers mind by putting up a first class performance during the interview.
:
Let us now see some of the things that the interviewer would be looking forward to from the very second you step into the interview hall. This things include.....
:
1 A positive disposition
2 A cheerful disposition
3 A smart disposition
4 A confident disposition
:
The interviewer will also be looking forward to result oriented, targeted oriented, efficiency and economy minded person.
:
There are more things the interviewer would be looking for as a criteria in determining whether you are successful and the right candidate for the job or not. These include....
:
1} YOUR HAIR: For men, keep it low as possible, it it gives you that. Much desire executive panache. For women just keep it simple and neat. Avoid bright coloured hair because an interview is not a carnival.
:
2} DRESSING For both men and women, wear suits unless told otherwise. Women should avoid wearing trouser suits, skirts suits are more preferable. Interview colours are black, gray and Navy blue. A situation where you do not have suits, do not borrow oversized undersized suits, always borrow normal size suits.
:
3} FERFUME; If you must spray perfumes (which is not compulsory or necessary} avoid harsh or pungent fragrance.
:
4} SHOES: Your shoe must match your attire. Black shoes is highly recommendable.
:
5} PUNCTUALITY: It is advisable to be punctual for the sake of stacking pressure or in case the venue has been changed.
:
6} FINALLY YOUR ENTRANCE Your entrance to the interview hall or room is very vital. Open the door and shut it gently behind you, walk with confidence, show no sign of arrogancy. But more importantly no fear.
:
NOTE: That when you make mistakes of shutting the door in front of you it practically shows that you are not conscious about your safety. When you walk so very fast it shows that you are under pressure. And when you walk so slow to the interview room, it means you're afraid. So walk majestically and confidently.
:
With this little ideas of mine I believe your next interview will be successful. Feel free to share your thoughts with us. Thank.

HungerBAD:
Rats struggle for bread with me—Lawyer A lawyer and human rights activist, E.U Opukiri, whose wife was on admission, narrated his experience: “I am a barrister of nine years in the bar, I came to this hospital because of the health of my wife and my experiences here in these two days are pathetic. There was no electricity and water in the hospital premises, a state government hospital for that matter.

“In the night when the rechargeable lamp we were using went off, rats came out in large numbers and spread everywhere. Some of them came specifically for the bread I bought for my wife, dragging it with me. “Out of fear, I took the bread and made it a pillow at the head-side of the bed. I was, however, uncomfortable with it because of its shape and so I decided to put it in a cupboard-like shelf there.

When I opened the shelf, I saw that it was a haven for rats. There were so many rats that I became afraid being aware of the prevalent Lassa fever caused by rats.
