NO. Even if you are bonded you can still leave. You will only be required to pay the bond price. It happen to me in my former workplace (bank). I was bonded with 2 million for 2 years but I got a better offer after 8 months. I contacted the HOUR and they ask me to pay the porated bond amount ( for the remaining unused months). DarryOsh: yeah, i suppose it can be rejected if u are bonded to your employer(i.e there is a prior official agreement that you cannot leave during a specified period of time) |
Car Talk › Re: As A New Driver, Can I Attempt Interstate Roads? by agog: 10:34am On Sep 17, 2013 |
You can if really you have already perfected your driving within the state. I drove within Lagos for 2 months (with no prior driving experience) and I took my car on the road from Lagos to Akure (5.5 hrs ). You need to ensure your car is in best condition for the trip. You also must ensure your papers are complete and up todate. Also you must maintain a speed limit you can control, say at maximum 120 kph. Symphony007: Been Driving For Only 8 Months, Can I Attempt Interstate Roads?
Hello guys, i've started driving on my 18th birthday. And since then, it has been 8 months of driving. I consider myself good, cause i'm a fast learner, but now i want to drive on an inter state. I want to drive from port harcourt to calabar, a few coursemates and i have an engagement in calabar and since i have a car, we decided i should drive. Initially i was excited but as the date comes closer, i'm having cold feet. Is it too quick? Is my hand strong enough? Can i sit in a car and keep an focus that long? But if i don't do it now, when will i? Taking risk is part of opening new doors in life, what do you'll think? |

Why don't they come and build their country home?
Brother, go to the ivy league schools in the US and UK and tell me the names of black students in most of their power professions like Medicine, Engineering, law, , even in state schools, this is the same story. Most IGBOS i have met in the US and Europe, (80%) are in the upper middle class to upper class in those places. That is the success i am talking about. I don't know where you live, but this has been my personal experience and i have travelled around the world.
|
