FamilyRe: She Doesn't Wear Her Wedding Ring Cos Her Husband Removed His Own by Agrika: 1:27pm On Sep 29, 2014
steppin: Some of the arguments I read here, especially from the ladies are so wrong. If a husband does not wear his ring, the wife should do the same? If the husband cheats, the woman should do the same too? Two wrongs can never make a right! Besides, the man might have his reasons for not putting on the ring. I've never seen any ring on my father's finger ever since I was born. I asked him one day why he doesn't wear his wedding ring, he said his skin is allergic to any jewel. If he puts on anything metal on his body, it gives him skin rashes. Rings, necklaces and watches(leather, rubber or metal) were not his thing. So, if this man happens to have the same reaction, then what the wife is doing is wrong. But I believe their reasons for not putting it on is best known to them.
Has it ever occured to you that some ladies are like that too...some just don't like jewellery

Don't really know what to say but from where I come from a girl her age should be focused on something else rather than boys...anyway I could advise u to trust ur baby girl, U raised her up, u know the morals u instilled in her, u have probably observed her from birth and knows what she can do and undo...so based on all these u can now make ur decision weather to let her date or not.

FamilyRe: Share Your Bully Stories Here by Agrika: 9:59pm On Sep 28, 2014
I was'nt bullied physically but psychologically. Back then I was transfered from my primary school which was a staff school to a really big and popular primary .school on "scholarship" basis. It was'nt really a scholarship per se just that the proprietress was a leading member of the C.W.O in our church and as I recall one Sunday I don't know probably under the anointing of the holyghost or something she made a public "donation" to sponsor a student for free in her school...2 weeks later I was transfered to the school...where my nightmare began... I had to deal with classmates from hell...rich, snubby, over-blown agric-broiler looking kids,...this is the school where a teacher will be apologising to a pupil like say na him papa...I had no friend till I finished that school coupled with my shy nature that wasn't helping issues, nobody wanted to share a seat with me they felt I was below thier "class"...and I was also the youngest in class...I remember once in Social Science when we were asked to name the type of car our Daddy had...everybody was like my daddy has 3 cars Toyata this, Honda that bla bla as e reach my turn I wan open mouth the useless ghanian teacher just said..."ehen u what do u want to say, is it not that old beetle your father is still using" the whole class started laughing...I cried that day eh...come see my classmates; daughter of a senator, a V.C's grandaughter,na so so Politician pikins full my class etc...I just look like Jan di in "Boys Before Floewers"....like the O.P mentioned in most cases bullying is borne out of Jealousy...despite the fact I was obviously the poorest in class...I still made sure I was among the top three in class...then it was more or less a big deal for one to "graduate" into Secondary Sch in Pri 5 but I did it,...I recall every Monday morning I go just siddon for one corner for house dey cry cos I really hated going to school...I couldn't tell my parents cos they were already overjoyed that I was attending a "big" school like that...the expereince gave me self-esteem issues that took me quite some time to overcome...thats why as u see me like ds I can't send my baby to any school he or she is not comfortable with even if na Albert Einstein get the school.
FamilyRe: Nigerian Women Are The Most Unfaithful In The World? True Or False (survey) by Agrika: 7:28pm On Sep 28, 2014
@ carefreewannabe, my question is how did they arrive at those percentages...when u say 30% of students in a given school are girls...it means that 3 out of every 10 students are girls...and for you to have arrived at that you may have randomly counted the students or could have gone class by class to count the number of female students...now my ish is how did they arrive at the figure gotten for naija...
(make una excuse my grammatical bombs Abeg I no go school)
FamilyRe: Nigerian Women Are The Most Unfaithful In The World? True Or False (survey) by Agrika: 7:13pm On Sep 28, 2014
coogar: agrika is a fantasist. as far as she's concerned, all naija women are saints. cheesy

FamilyRe: Nigerian Women Are The Most Unfaithful In The World? True Or False (survey) by Agrika: 7:04pm On Sep 28, 2014
coogar: 36,000 people were interviewed from 29 countries - the survey is valid. nigeria & thailand were joint top for the most unfaithful women in the world.
Hmmm...29000 thousand people were interviewed from 36 countries by Durex (shey na dem dey make condom abi)...the results maybe statistically correct when you put into consideration that the population of Nigeria may be more than that of Thailand and thus more Nigerian women were "available" for the interview but in reality I seriously doubt the result. Firstly forget all the feminism and we-must-do-like-men-dey-do craze that is sweeping all over the country, naija women still get "shame" and another thing how was the survey conducted is it that they counted the number of women that bought Durex CD within a given period or they randomly or individually selected women within a given locality or geo-political zone in Nigeria and interviewed them or what ...the whole thing is just questionable.
