Manchester United welcome Manchester City to Old Trafford looking to bounce back following their Champions League exit. Manchester United can bounce back from their Champions League disappointment with a win in today's derby against City. United were demoted to the Europa League following the defeat against RB Leipzig in mid-week and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen for his squad to respond when they welcome Pep Guardiola's side to Old Trafford. The Reds won both Premier League meetings against the Blues last season and haven't won three consecutive league fixtures against their rivals since between November 2008 and April 2010. However, City have an excellent record at United's home ground, winning seven away league games. There is no debate or dilemma over the goalkeeper: it has to be Dean Henderson. It was startling Solskjaer withdrew two defenders with United 3-0 down in Leipzig as though they should be guaranteed of starts. Aaron Wan-Bissaka gets in on the strength of his duels with Raheem Sterling but Victor Lindelof doesn't. Luke Shaw or Alex Telles is much of a muchness after Tuesday night but Shaw has the experience. Fred has to come back into the trusted triumvirate with Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandes. Mason Greenwood has earned a first league derby start and Edinson Cavani is a more suitable striker for the occasion than Anthony Martial, on current form. Solskjaer's biggest decision on derby day might be in goal, with De Gea under pressure after hardly covering himself in glory for RB Leipzig's third on Wednesday. Henderson's time has to come. The back three flopped in Germany and United should revert to a back four. That makes left-back the one big area for selection and Solskjaer's criticism of Telles might mean Shaw gets the nod and his better defensive work could be valued against City.

Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | A 19-year-old boy has picked presidential nomination papers from the Electoral Commission. Hillary Humphrey Kaweesa who picked the forms on Wednesday is in senior six vacation and a former student of Mengo Senior Secondary School. Kaweesa says that he attained three principal passes in the 2019 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations which makes him legible to contest for the presidency. Kaweesa also says that he hopes to raise the 20 million shillings nomination fees from well-wishers. Each of the aspirants is required to collect 100 signatures from every district to support their nomination. In 2017, Members of Parliament scrapped the presidential age-limit of 75 years. They also lowered the age eligibility for president to 18 from 35 years. Another aspirant Mathew Mutyaba also picked the nomination forms. Mutyaba, who is disabled and a lawyer by profession says that he is confident of winning the presidency because he has been spiritually called to lead. Mutyaba, who is 34 years says that he has contested in several positions like the local council elections and the parliamentary seat but lost. “I have always scored less because the voters did not believe in me after looking at my physical disability forgetting that my inner ability is not like the physical one”, Mutyaba says. Other aspirants who picked the forms on Wednesday include 46-year-old Pastor Henry Byamukama, 41-year-old Christopher Alibankowa a retired military officer and Simon Peter Serunjoji. Ondo State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Wahab Adegbenro has died from COVID-19 complications. According to a SaharaReporters source, the 65-year-old Doctor died on Monday after he was rushed to a hospital in Owo after contracting coronavirus. The source said; The Commissioner died at the Federal Medical Centre in Owo and this has just thrown the entire cabinet into chaos. He died of COVID-19 because he had contracted the virus earlier and was taking drugs at his own comfort being a medical doctor. Wahab Oluropo Adegbenro was born on 5th June 1955 at Ilara-mokin in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State. After his elementary education at Muslim Primary School, Ilara-Mokin. Between 1962 and 1967, Late Adegbenro attended Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure; and the University of Benin, Benin City. He held the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B; B.S). He was a member of the Nigeria Medical Association; member of the Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria; Associate member, Royal College of General Practitioners of London; and member of Nigeria Guild of Medical Directors. Late Adegbenro established Crown Hospital, Akure where he was the Chief Medical Director. Until his death, Adegbenro was the Chairman, Ondo State Council of All Progressive Congress (APC) Muslim Members. This comes two days after Governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu tested positive for coronavirus. Akeredolu disclosed his COVID-19 status on his Facebook page saying he is already in self-isolation as required by the case management guidelines of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) for any asymptomatic patient. Ondo state as at Tuesday has 325confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 19deaths. Lille Coach, Christophe Galtier has confirmed that Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen will depart the club in the summer. Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenhan Hotspur have been mentioned as possible destinations for the former Wolfsburg starlet, who is also on the wishlist of Napoli in Italy. Osimhen is valued at eighty million euros by Lille chiefs but his transfer fee is expected to reduce due to the coronavirus crisis. In an interview with Canal + (via lepetitlillois.com) , Galtier explained: “People stay focused on “they buy for X, they sell for Y. The club announced Sunday evening that the Nigerian would be spending the night at the hospital.  'Our striker Taiwo #Awosends Niyi suffered a concussion in his collision with @FCA_World's Felix #Uduokhai and is spending the night in hospital as a precautionary measure. Get well soon, Taiwo! �.' It was cheery news later after the club confirmed that Awoniyi is now stable. "We have received the all-clear from the doctors. Awoniyi is conscious again, can remember the things that happened. Pictures showed how the referee tried to prevent Awoniyi from swallowing his own tongue. Play was stopped as it took the medics minutes to revive him. He later came off a stretcher and rushed to hospital.

A Corps Member who goes by name Nyah Patrick, AB/19B/0235 has donated a two bedroom bungalow to a widow, Mrs Blessing Onyekwere at Inyia Community Ibere, Ikwuano LGA of Abia State. Speaking during the commissioning of the project, the donor, Corps Member Nyah Patrick said he decided to embark on the project when late last year he met the widow and her children, who were at the verge of being ejected from where they were living. Nyah added that on arrival at his host community, his initial plan was to print about 2,000 copies of exercise books as donation to students of his PPA, Ibere Comprehensive Secondary School but later changed his plan after his encounter with the widow. He said he later went round the community to seek for sponsors and funds to gather towards executing the project. In her response, the widow, Mrs Blessing Onyekwere, who almost broke down in tears thanked Corps Member Patrick and prayed to God to bless him immensely for his kind gesture towards her and the children. While commissioning the personal project, NYSC Abia State Coordinator, Lady Bona Fasakin commended the Corps Member for being a good ambassador of NYSC Scheme by providing succour for the needy in his host community. She further prayed to God to bless and meet him at the point of his need. In his remarks, the Transition Committee (TC) Chairman, Ikwuano LGA, Honourable Stanley Ejigbo, also lauded the Corps Member for his effort, stating that 'whatever seed a man sows, he will surely reap'. He however promised to make the building more conducive for habitation so as to ensure that Mrs Blessing Onyekwere moves in soonest. The headless bodies of two persons believed to be a mother and her baby have been found near a primary school in Ile-Ife, Osun State. The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Yemisi Opalola, who confirmed the incident on Wednesday, said the corpses were dumped opposite the AUD Primary School, Isale Agbara, Ile-Ife. Residents of the area told our correspondent that the corpses must have been dumped at the scene on Tuesday evening. They explained that the bodies were without clothes, while the baby was wearing a diaper. “When the corpses were found, we contacted officials of the local government council in the town and they have evacuated the bodies and deposited them in the morgue,” Opalola stated. The PPRO said the state Commissioner of Police, Johnson Kokumo, directed a thorough investigation into the incident with a view to bringing to justice the perpetrators. A photo that appeared to be leaked from one of the Russian hospitals that is showing a nurse treating patients who are infected with coronavirus but the most baffling part of it is she is wearing a transparent PPE (Personal Protective Instrument) which was after she removed her own clothing. After gathering reports,this nurse apparently said she didn't know the PPE was that transparent but the photo is already making waves on social media. And according to further reports,The ward she is treating patients is occupied with only males. In her defence,The nurse claims that the atmosphere was too hot that was why she removed her own cloth and wore the PPE just that way.  The regional health ministry also reported that “a disciplinary penalty would be imposed on the nurse from the Infectious Diseases Department who violated the custom uniform requirements.”  Her punishment isn't yet known but she violated a code of conduct and as the screenshot says,she has already be suspended Russia coronavirus numbers has spiked up with over 299,941 infections and an official death toll of 2,837. A 60-year-old man, Yikatey Somatey, has been arrested for killing his wife at Gando near Nyanyema, a suburb of the Sawla-Tuna Kalba District of the Savannah region in Ghana after he accused her of having affairs with another man.  The suspect accused his wife, Bora Bonbiatey 57, of cheating on him by having affairs with another man in their community. Information gathered by Ghanaweb, an online news medium in Ghana, indicated that the man lured his wife to the bush in the name of performing a family ritual. While in the bush, he poured pepper in her face before using a machete to inflict multiple wounds on her, leading to her death. He was then said to have disposed off the body at a nearby bush and absconded. He was however arrested a few hours later.
