While I can understand where you are going,I have a strong belief that the more enlightened the society becomes the more religion will become endangered.
The internet has done a great deal of exposing religion as a fraud and slavery of the mind. Any person who thinks critically has just got to realise that religion has held mankind back from achieving its true potentials.
I don't sincerely believe religion can survive the next 100 years. I may be wrong in my prediction but I feel that as mankind becomes more educated,the fear and mind control that religion thrives upon will disappear and mankind will reach its true potentials.

I hope you know going to school doesn't make one educated, neither does it make one enlighten or even expose.

This same intelligent people you speak of, are the ones who can't do without religion.

The internet haven't really expose religion as the fraud it is because, many people are still slave to it. Check the daily comment on social media and see if religion hasn't messed with the minds of a lot of people, especially the so called intelligent ones.

You should also be aware that critical thinking have never, I repeat never been the strongest suit for most Nigerians, who still have many intelligent people as much as foolish people.

So, I honestly don't know what will be of religion 100 years from now, but what I do know is, until religion is expose for the fraud it is today, it'll continue to thrive in our country.

My thinking of nearest future is farther than I ever imagined though. We all find it difficult trying to tell our immediate family and friends why religion ain’t the way forward, before we move to the larger society.

Poverty and strife has been so entrenched into the bone marrow of this body we call Nigeria.

When you tell your immediate family and friends religion isn't the way forward, what was their response? I bet you it is still the same narrow minded bullsh1t we hear coming out of the mouths of this wretched pastors and politicians.

Moving to a larger society now isn't possible, not at this very moment. You take a look at Freeze and what he's doing with his #freethesheeple movement, you'll see even the so called intelligent people still ascribe a semblance divinity to these pastors. Now how can a country move forward when its people still believe their pastors are demi gods, even in this modern age.

I'm afraid we're stuck where we are. Backwardness and stagnation is the way things are now. It's sad, but true.

Coupled with the problem in Africa, one needs an escape route of better life after death, which religion offers.

When we finally get it right in the nearest future, people would no longer turn to god in hard times. Imagine electricity, health, water, and other basic social amenities are available people wouldn’t even think the way they do now.

They just try to impart and leave.

the very reason why I continue to opine that the current abysmal state of affairs in this country, and Africa at large is a conspiracy orchestrated by the politicians and the clergy.

Think about it, both the politicians and the clergy need the people to be completely stupid_ and dependant on them, that way, they continue to milk them and stay relevant in the scheme of things.

Take away the gullible and stupid_ people from our society, the clergy won't find people who will pay tithe, sow seed etc, neither will politicians see who they'll give stipend to vote them into power.

I've discovered personally, that there's no heaven and there's no hell after a person dies. The only heaven and hell that exist is this present life. After it, there is nothing.

As regard the bolded, the question I usually ask them is, where was them before they came into this world. Everyone of them always tell me the same thing: "they don't know". My reply to them is "if you don't know where you were before coming to this planet, how can you know where you're going when you leave it".

Money is based on information. You are either told by your parents that you have to go to school, get good grades, get a job and MAKE MONEY

OR

In the case of Ibo people you are taught a trade, learn the business under a "master" and after 7 years or so given money to start your own business so you can also start MAKING MONEY

You are a guy on the street, family is poor and you meet friends and they tell you "you fit scam maga o. Just create a profile picture on fb and start sending people messages(or whatever format), lie a little bit and beg for money using various forms and MAKE MONEY

(I will share a personal story shared with me by one olosho I used used to knack that year) Her parents sent her to Lagos to stay with her elder sister who was married. The elder sister was supposed to send her to school. While she was living there her sister's husband started trying to touch her. She told her sister who didn't believe her but instead scolded her for trying to ruin her marriage and as a result she had to live the house to work in a restaurant, where she would sleep at night, till one of the customers(an Ikeja babe) introduced her to a hotel where she was lodged and slept with one dude for the first time and made her first 10k after 5 minutes ie if the guy lasted that long. Today she is an olosho in all standards.
