Good Day, I own a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder V8, see the pictures below. I travelled with it from Abuja on Saturday, 20th June 2020 to Benin enroute Auchi. When I got to Auchi, I bought fuel at the NNPC Mega Station, I must admit that after buying fuel, I wanted to start the car when I noticed the gear lever was on drive position. I moved it to park but when I turned the ignition, it refused to start. From that Saturday to Tuesday, 23rd June 2020 several mechanics from Benin came to check the car and their conclusion was for me to replace camshaft sensors and ECU. Scan results showed the following codes: P0447, P1564, P1615, P0340 and P0345. I have bought over 10 camshaft sensors and three ECUs(brain boxes) but the vehicle cranks but has still refused to start.
Please what do I do. Thanks.

I have had similar experience on my fx35. Its simple to fix. Invite a good electrician and tell him to chance the car relay and rewire it. Relay is about 1,000 to 1,500(one thousand naira to one thousand five hundred naira)

I guess the reference here is to your erstwhile 6th Gen Maxima. The system is a bit different. The Maxima has an independent shift lock control module controlled by a 10A fuse (#12) in the junction block. The fuse controls also the PNP switch. So you can see why your shift lever got stuck.

Car gurus pls i need your help. My 2008 Nissan Teana just this afternoon, the gear got stuck in park. I drove the car to church this morning, came back, after about 2 hours, wanted to go get something ,thats when it happened. I have tried the release lock by the gear nothing. The brake light is working well. Pls can it be electrical or is my cvt gearbox gone?

Update:

The thief transferred my N50k from my UBA Account to my Sportybet account and used it to place a bet on Chelsea yesterday but instituted a cash out of N49k to his bank account.

I've chatted with Sportybet Customer Care Services and they are handling the case in a dilly-dally.

It's AE that is blocking "typed addresses" from going thru the messages. Other communications between me and the seller thru the message app went without hitches. It's only typed addresses tha seem to have problems.
