Team building is a gradual process. A lot of people are expecting a psunami. grin Haha, disappointment awaits them.
Nobody is expecting a total or half overhauling of the team.

It doesn't have to be a Tsunami, but having just two new inclusions is way too small. It has to be a reasonable number.

I won't b surprise cin 95percent of those who represented us at d worldcup...and if u ask me,it's a good decision...we can't just ease out 40percent of d players like DT,it could unbalance d team,2 to 3 players change effect from d worldcup list is ok.den from dere d coach can start phasing out d ones not fit for us cool
Akpeyi
Ebuehi (presently injured)
Echiejile
Joel
V. Moses (retiree) and
Ighalo.

I don't think replacing this 6players will unsettle the team. If my calculation is right, That's less than 30% including Ebuehi a potential returnee and V. MOSES an already retired player. Excluding these 2, will bring the numbers down to 4 which is well below 20% and I think it is fair enough and the way to go if we are truly serious...

Of what use will it be if we continue with the above players bar Ebuehi... What do they still have that we haven't seen?

Is it Akpeyi a 30year old third choice NT Gk?
Echiejile a pensioneer?
Joel, a player who has failed repeatedly to come to party?
Victor Moses a retiree who is gone for good?
Or Ighalo?

Don't forget we don't have to much time to prepare for AFCON 19. We must qualify and at the same time have a good showing in the biennial event.

Hello everyone, Does anyone know when Rohr will release his list of 23 players for AFCON 19 Qualifiers.

I am so much interested in the list as it will speak volume and more on the Man-Rohr. It will tell/show us where we are heading to.

Honestly, shame dey even catch me for Nigeria as I dey here so.
I am not surprised. This is what is expected when Square pegs are inserted in round holes.

I like that your meme.

That was the exact state I was, when our female U-20 coach Danjuma was trying to teach Nnadozie(Gk) how to take Goal Kick.

HHe was shouting at the top of his voice. "Bend small before you shoot." I just use my hand cover my face...

So much unprofessionalism in the way we handle things here.

Dalung and his cohort wan carry Giwa (a person serving 5 years FIFA ban) go do meeting with FIFA like se na political meeting de wan do...

I can't imagine how they'll go about it.
Maybe something like this...

*Dalung Arriving FIFA sectariat*

Dalung(knocks)
Security personnel: Hi,
Dalung: Hey, come here.
SP: How may we help you?
Dalung: Don't you know me? I am the minister of sports of the largest black nation in the world - Nigeria. A sovereign nation!
SP: Okay.
DalunG: We want to see the FIFA'S PRESIDENT.
Giwa: (whispering to Dalung) let's enter joor.
DA lung signals to Giwa to be calm.
GGiwa: rushes forward, pushes both the SP and Dalung aside making way for the door.... He does so shouting WE WANT JUSTICE! AMAJU OUT!!!...

Does this FIFA ban has any implication on Nigerian players all over the world?

Remember, the last time we were threatened with a ban. FIFA stated that all football activities both locally and internationally will be halted and Nigeria players will not be able to feature for their respective clubs too.

From Joel Obi to Iwobi to Aina to Onyekuru to Ekong and many more, Nigerians have been excelling at the top leagues. With the exception of Senegal, no other African country can boast of this. We don start again.

Trust Nigerians. We can boast about anything.

The kind luck wey de follow our players this days is a good one.

No one expects Balogun and Aina to debut soon. Considering the fact that they are defenders and both started from the bench. The height of it all was that, they both came on as a substitute in the First Half.

You know, until you know someone personally what you have is media driven perception, the real person is very far from you.

Getting anybody to jump to the SE is not the issue, getting True Top Quality Talent is. However, if you want to enthrone mediocrity, I guess your proposition in bold wins.

After being educated right here about the extreme harsh reality of life of in Nigeria, financially speaking. I can understand how people's perspective on commitment can become distorted.

Most Nigerian origin players in the UK who are on the ascendancy do not need the SE to promote and propel thier careers. It can even be a distraction that causes them to loose value.

The players in Nigeria considers the matter a LIFE & DEATH issue. And as such will do anything on and off the field and concede to all demands from NFF officials. And may seemingly be perceived as more committed. Is that commitment national interest or self preservation. It's a matter of perception.

I don't think you can judge commitment by assumptions on body language. That's being presumptuous in the negative and downright prejudiced.

I knew you were going to jump right behind the English Boys.

I don't know when Victor Moses became the best thing after Coca-Cola. He is good and that is what he his. But saying he is indispensable is a total joke.

There are better players and talents of Nigerian decent who are relatively unknown simply because opportunity never came their way.

Give it time and he will be eclipsed by a younger player and no one will miss him.

You think everything ends in the Queensland...

Because Nigeria is not getting things right does not make Nigerians short of individual talents and quality folks who will Excell in any field of their choice.

I don't know when COMMITMENT had another meaning
I had to recheck my dictionary. I don't know if the word differs with different regions of the world.
But this is what I got.

Noun: commitment
|ku'mit-munt|
The trait of sincere and steadfast fixity of purpose • a man of energy and commitment
= committedness
~ earnestness, serious-mindedness, seriousness, sincerity
⇒ investment
The act of binding yourself (intellectually or emotionally) to a course of action • his long commitment to public service
= allegiance, dedication, loyalty
~ cooperation
⇒ communalism, consecration, devotion, enlistment, faith

But if you still no understand am..

Let me put it to this way.

You have 22 employees working for you. But you still need one more to make the whole thing thick. You saw a candidate with potential on the verge of been employed by your competitor (a rival). you went all the way and did everything possible to convince that person to come work for you. After a while he considered your offer and decides to work for you.

At first he was humble and dedicated. He gave all he can and he begins to get all the accolades due him. Then, suddenly their was a turnaround. He reports to work late only to give excuses to justify his lateness. He begins to select the tasks he will do and those he won't despite that they were all within his job description. Yet you played along and did as if you didn't see it. You tried reaching him through an higher officer. Yet there was no changes.

Then, you started noticing that his poor attitude has started affecting the whole team of staffs... I'm sure, you been who you are an ENLIGHTENED INDIVIDUAL will not read any meaning into such body language indicating LACK OF COMMITMENT TO YOUR COMPANY GOALS and so won't take any action. Till the whole thing goes south.

I have never seen a clueless Nigerian Coach...The man is a disgrace to Nigeria Football.

I had to cover my face when I saw him trying to teach the Goalkeeper how to take a Goal kick.

I knew it will end this way. When I saw the line up. I have never seen a coach as stubborn as this man. How will you keep your best players on the bench in a knock out match. He need to be sacked asap.

I said it here that, the Duru of a girl has no business in the team. How she became a footballer still baffles me. But some people want us to believe, she is the next thing the SFs need.

The most painful thing was the coach's refusal to make the third sub. He is expecting a Miracle replica of what happened against China.

On FIFA'S part, how can you choose a ref from China to refer the next game of a team that sent her country home. So much bias from the Governing body.

The team is made up of average girls that lacks quality + a clueless coach. It's over. 2018 has been a disappointing year for our football.

Left to me, any player willing to play for the Eagles should speak boldly after been approached. Enough of all this hide and seek games these foreign pros like to de do us. Most especially the English Boys.

I remember how we went about Moses case. It was very similar to Tammy's we were just lucky to have him them. To some of these boys we are second option./choice-someone to fall back to.

We don show interest to Lookman... If he wan play for us make he talk straight. All this I want to focus on my club career first na lie... They no get Interest.

Na the reason why most of them always lack the zeal playing for us. Them just de use us build their CV. Mtcheew...

If I hear Tammy Abraham, Sammy Ameobi again? Make I no talk wetin I go do.

Sir TheGoodJoe hope your plank still de intact.
