Have being a silent reader of this great thread. I know the optimist , pessimist and the opportunists of this thread. At this juncture though,if nigeria fails to qualify from the group, I will stop supporting them because I don't know what else to be done to make the eagles fly. This time around everything was done for them and the boys refuse to fly. Am heartbroken

Okocha also blamed Rohr for deploying Mikel in the creative role.

“We didn’t have a creative player today,” the former Nigeria No.10 added. “Mikel has been a good servant to the national team. His best position is playing in front of the defence. We saw what he did playing for Chelsea where he had a glorious career.

“The most creative player in that team is Alex Iwobi but he was played on the flanks. He (Iwobi) can play on the flanks at Arsenal because they had better players in that role like Mesut Ozil.

“The reason why we lost was because we played our best players out of their positions.

“Playing Mikel in that position didn’t help Moses and Iwobi on the flanks.”

Let me ask you a question, I would like if you gave a honest reply.
How good was Ndidi and Mikel in the middle, especially with their ball distribution? How good was Iwobi? These guys were responsible for Nigerias inability to launch a sustained attack worthy of breaching Croatia.
Why is nobody talking about Ekong's cheap penalty give away? Was the Croatian player going to score if he left him alone?
How about the 2 center backs positioning in the box when the first corner kick went in? Do you know, none of our defenders where in position to get the second ball off that corner?

We don't want to mention all these but the whole blame is on Shehu of course. This is the reflection of the Nigerian society, were the perceived weak and defenseless are targeted. Sad reality of our times.

We are not saying that he was very poor today, he was just average.
He offers nothing going forward as a right back and lacks pace, he was easily outpace on more than two occasions.especially when out of position.
Ebuehi is faster, is a threat going forward and also recovers faster than shehu when out of position.

Na u give am injury wey make am unfit? Shut up if u no get wetin to talk. Na Balogun wey pass let fitness test. Ebuehi was never injured at any point. He only had a simple nose bleeding about 4 days ago

People blaming Ighalo are not being fair as he should have been used for the Iceland match and his physicality would have been appreciated. Iwobi on the flanks today did not make sense.
Shehu did not help the attack and struggled in defence.
Maybe Mikel should play DM and remain there.
To be honest I really did not believe we could win but to lose like this is unacceptable.
They need to redeem themselves and stay off social media abeg.
All this fashion and singing is for Nations cup standard.
This is the world cup.
I expect a response even if we do not qualify from the group. Show them them the Naija way of playing football not all these crap

Shehu did good and people are still making up lies about him being poor just to get Ebuehi in the squad.
My only problem was starting Ekong over Omerou and leaving Mikel on the pitch so long. We have to come to terms that Uzoho will make a mistake every match.

. I'm telling you. Abeg next time,I don't want to see Iheanacho on the bench. How Rohr does it I don't care to know. And please he should play Iwobi and Iheanacho together. Their camaraderie is similar to The Oyinbo Wall's. Bring Ighalo in the 2nd half. Another thing,I don't want to see Shehu play any group stage match again. Now Ebuehi will have a lot to do. Mtcheww

Game was lost before we kicked d ball, Shehu and Ighalo are so useless they have no business in d squad, mikel abeg abeg play DM u wont succeed as AM, what da Bleep is Iwobi doing on d wings ?? musa na waste abeg, dont know how bad players make d squad sef. Then come put Iheanacho d only attacking threat for bench chai !!!!
