Did anyone saw how Shaqiri ran nto space to get into perfect position to receive that pass that led to the goal? That's what Ighalo needs to be doing and not just holding up play that does not give goal. |

Jarus: Uzoho wasn't tested much.
Apart from the assist he did, Moses was too casual and his crosses hardly reached targeted player. The 3-5-2 formation is the best that suits are players. We possess more with it and defend better. It helps keep our goalkeeper on break. It can only be matched and bested by a 3-4-3 setup. |

Balogun was rock solid at the heart of defense today.
We defended well against all set-pieces.
Kudos to the boys. |

Goke7: no wonder csk moscow keeps playing musa as a central striker, only in naija we play him as a winger, if musa was in that position ighalo was in the final mins, it would have been a hat trick for the striker, your head de there. |

tbaba1234: Confirmed Starting Line-up:
Uzoho; Ekong, Balogun, Omeruo; Moses, Mikel, Ndidi, Etebo, Idowu; Iheanacho, Musa.
I think, this is a much better lineup
Colin Udoh deliberately released a fake line-up to throw people off. He mentioned that Rohr was angry that the line-up was released the last time . Apparently, he did it to throw the opponents off. Great line up, I must say. I expect Musa to be slightly ahead of Nacho in the attack. His menacing pace will come handy. Hopefully he scores and if he doesn't he will help Nacho get some scraps to feed on. |

mank1234: For me: Goal line - yes VAR - no no no. So long as there's human input to it they may still be bias that may even be worse than normal referee. So far some error that ought not to be overlooked had been overlooked by VAR and some that should be overlooked has been reviewed. Very controversial to me. They only make calls when they wish |

Joebie: I still think we will lose to Argentina no matter what happens in the 2nd round of matches. That's why I am hoping for victory for the Croats. I think the worst result we will get out of the Argentina's game is a draw. IF we go into the encounter with 3points. The task ahead of our guys now is how they will win Iceland and at the same time reduce our goal deficit to 0. A win with a goal margin might not be enough cos Iceland will go into the last match to win Croatia (who might have qualified) which is very possible considering that they have done it before. thereby sending us home on goal difference. We are really in a very tight position. |

safarigirl: what will a short Ighalo be doing upfront against tall Icelandic players?
He couldn't even jump high enough against Croatia, is it the tall Icelanders he will now drag aerial balls with?
Rohr has a 6 ft. 2" Iheanacho on the bench, but Ighalo must start, I wonder which NFF official we should blame for constantly seeing a misfiring Ighalo.
At this point, I wouldn't even mind someone breaking Ighalo's leg if it will ensure I never have to see him start a game in this World Cup you mean Nacho is taller than Ighalo? |

A win for Argentina will only condemn us to win our last two matches. I hope Croatia wins and turn the 2nd position to 3 horse race. |

Bolowolowo: Fellow Eagalians, tomorrow, Argentina will face Croatia. What result can we realistically hope for. An Argentian win? Our group is the most tricky, no team is guaranteed to progress. A win for Croatia will send them through. Leaving Argentina with one point. Going into their last group match. A draw for both sides will put one of Croatia.'s foot in the next round. Leaving Argentina with two points. A win for Argentina will see them top the group with 4points irrespective of Goal difference closely followed by Croatia with three. That is if we don't loose to Iceland. So the best result is that we win our own matches. Any which way, our destiny is still in our hands. We need to go out there and get the job done. Irrespective of the result of other group fixture. We should go out there to win the remaining two matches and that alone will guarantee us a place in the second round. |
