Goal! |
Ogu is in |
Ighalo has been sloppy. No pressing nothing nothing. |
CaptainStephen:playing Iwobi on the wings is waste of talent and space. |
I repeat Onazi has lost his touch. Though some want us to believe otherwise. But this match has confirmed and justify my claim. Ebuehi is better than Shehu. We need Ndidi than he needs us. Ekong has lost concentration. |
The much awaited friendly is here. |
Now the Real Test Awaits the SUPER EAGLES. Just tuning in. |
Abeg when is kickoff? |
asha80:Forget that man o. He used more of his brain than his physical body. No gragra football and he was beauty to watch. |
elyte89:MIKEL will be out there today to show Chelsea fans what they have missed during his 8yrs stint at the bridge. how I wish Mou can take time to watch this one out and see how he debarred the World to see one of the finest creative midfielders to come out of Africa. |
komekn:what he lacks in pace, he makes up for in good positioning. Pirlo had no pace but during his days bossed the midfield against athletic sides. Note: I'm in no way comparing Pirlo to Ogu. |
Martz101:Fight ke? Who Akpeyi wan fight? Akpeyi na gentle man. Rudiger is jittery on the ball and that's why he is synonymous to Akpeyi. Give him a back pass and see him dance alanta How he is even a pro-amazes me. |
asha80:RUDIGER? E be like se every team has an AKPEYI! |
ENG VS NIG I expect Rohr to approach this game just the way he set out against Argentina. 4-2-3-1 in the first half and 3-5-2 in the second. Wishing the lads all the best. |
VAR for tomorow's game! |
The ball holding ability of our DMFs & CMFs is very poor and that's one of the reason they can't dictate play from the deep. Joel Obi whom we all expect to step up and bring his holding ability and dribbling skills to the table has failed so far. Their is need for calmness in those positions. No need to be in haste in making forward passes. Onazi, Etebo and now Joel have all been culprit so far. Their hastefulness in making passes is only making us loose possession unnecessarily in the midfield-which is not good for us going forward. |
Since Rohr took over, the only side that has given his EAGLES(full team) run for their money remains the ZAMBIANS. Simply because of the strategy of play they adopted-LONG BALL. Rohr Eagles have found it hard to curtail sides that play Long ball. I only hope Rohr and his team have fixed this. |
Leon will be out there tomorow to make a statement and pass a message to his new employer- that he'll be capable of holding his own against The EPL top stars. |
Ebuehi's level of confidence is second to non. The guy does not forces it-he takes it very simple. Akpeyi needs to pack his bag(s) and move to Ebuehi's room. Who knows Ebuehi's confidence might rub on him. Jokes apart, of all our new recruits starting with Iwobi, Ebuehi is the only one who settled in quickly. It took the rest so much time to put themselves together for national team football. Even Joel, who is not relatively new to GWG has been trying to force things. Thereby failing to replicate his club performances in the GWG. Same too is applied to Aina. |
We will surely miss Moses Simon. He is the only winger close to V. Moses. Players who can wriggle their way out of tight position. |
My line-up against England. 4-2-3-1 Uzoho Shehu(Ebuehi 70 mins)-EKong(Awaziem 70mins)-Balogun(Omuero 45mins)-Idowu(UWA 45mins) Agu-Onazi(Joel 45mins) Musa(Iwobi 65mins)- Mikel-Moses Ighalo. |
The SEs of Nigeria are known to play their hearts out against topsides. I'm expecting to see a very different ball game entirely. As much as I want us to win this game, I also want our players to come out unscathed. Trust me, the english won't take this match as friendly. So much is at stake(you know the ego thing worrying both side). I Only Hope our players will throw in some caution and our coaches will manage things well... It'll be better sef, if we can have two different 11s to prosecute the match... Making changes at half time. |
tbaba1234:OUR VICTOR DON SHOW O. He is never LATE to camp! He'll definitely be there before the time given to him lapses... |
E be like se na only Mikel remain to play with the World cup jersey... Can't wait to see him that Jersey. |
Icon4s:hmmm... Of a truth I'm not Rohr, but it's obvious both players are presently not on thesame level form-wise. |
I can't believe folks here are now in agreement with the school of thought that "Victor Moses is not only an Integral member of this team but also an undisputable weapon of mass destruction Rohr and S. Eagles possess for now". This is a great development. |
Icon4s:Sir, I understand that Onazi is a core member of this team. But he is loosing his touch and fast becoming the shadow of his old self. Dude looks overweight and does not look like someone ready to lay claim to his starting shirt anytime soon. So for now. I'll rather/prefer to pair Ogu and Ndidi as our double pivot In a 4-2-3-1 formation than having Onazi and Ndidi's partnership. |
nelszx:you get the gist jare. I'LL be suprised if Rohr starts Onazi ahead of this guy. Ogu brings some kind of calmness to the midfield and his passes are spot on... I hope Ndidi comes back strong and get back in shape for our match against Czech |
somehow:you mean Brila's 23 man list. Cos I don't see Rohr dropping Ogu. I think he is presently better than Onazi and will get my nod ahead of Onazi, Joel and Agu. |
So much Negativity has filled the air. Just because of 3 friendlies prosecuted without our key men. |
Maradonna was a football Genius. |
tbaba1234:Sometimes you wonder if you watch the same match with some of these analysist. |
