JSMMUYIWA: Shehu isn't poor in the qualifiers. His friendlies were poor. Ebuehi can come in the second half. But really I would have loved to see Ebuehi start, overlapping his class compare to Shehu. Rohr should remember our RB will be up against Perisic! |

ChrisKels: Even though I dont have confidence in the oyinbo wall, I dont think Costa could have bullied them the way he did Pepe and Fonte Costa is a typical 9. He and his likes are gradually fading out and going extinct as modern day soccer do not require bullies as 9 anylonger. No wonder the world is scarce of them. So painful. I agree with you on the bully. He wouldn't and can't bully our oyinbo wall. He will simply bulldoze them. Costa na strong man. |

daveP: I wouldn't really call it an assist. well it was adjudged an assist. Still it doesn't take away Ronaldo's hardwork in getting those three goals. He was simply brilliant. How often do we have Hat-tricks hero at the World Cup? I guess seldomly. Can't remember the last time a player scored 3 against another country at the World Cup. |

daveP: William Cavalho!!!
If he isn't in that game, dayum....
Spain have a weakness that attacking teams can exploit. And that is the age of their midfielders. Silva, Iniesta, Busquets. These three were balling but until isco came alive, Costa tha Beast couldn't score.
Ronaldo too wasn't assisted for any of his goals.
I hope VicMo is watching the unselfishness of the player that once was tagged selfish? Pass to a better teammate. He was assisted for his Second. |

Nigeria will go far and PAPI Rohr will resign. Lobatan!!! Most people tipping us to make it out of the group stage are seeing us coming out 2nd behind Argentina. But the guys seems to be aiming for the very top. If we achieve this then we might just pick the easiest root to the semis. Then Mujtahida's mystic prophecy would be fulfilled. I see Argentina struggling against Iceland. A win for us in our first two games might be all we need to top that group. It's a wide and open group we've found ourself. Truly no one can body say they will come out of that group. |

MetalJigsaw: Moses: Super Eagles Determined To Beat Strong, Talented Croatia June 14, 2018 10:25 pm
Super Eagles forward Victor Moses has urged his Super Eagles’ teammates to remain focused as they begin their Russia2018 World Cup campaign against Croatia on Saturday.
The Chelsea star apologized to fans for their poor performance in the friendly games but vowed to be in their best form against Croatia.
“We’ve come here a long time here at Esentuki, but I think you can see in the training that we were doing very well. Now there is a match with Croatia, a very strong team, but we are gunning for the win,” he told Croatian outlet sportske.jutarnji.hr.
“This game is very important to us because it is very important to start winning and get a good result. We are optimistic, we want to beat Croatia.
“Yet these were just friendly matches, although we were sorry we lost, especially against England. But we look good at this point; we will be good in opening game against Croatia.
“Croatia is a great team with many top players; they are strong individuals and team. They have a particularly strong midfield and attack, the most important thing for us is to be concentrated, then we can beat Croatia.
“The most important thing is not to lose this first game because they are sometimes the most important. Croatia can beat anyone, but Nigeria can beat Croatia. We’ll have to do it like a team.”
Moses chose no country as his favorite to win the World Cup.
“Everything can happen in our group, all teams can advance,” he added.
https://www.completesportsnigeria.com/moses-super-eagles-determined-to-beat-strong-talented-croatia/ These guys are ambitious. I hope things fall together for us. |

Savvy? you are right. A strong performance is all that is needed to build a monument of our brand in the heart of Men. If I may ask, Which department do you think is the weakest link in our group? |

A good performance from our boys will go a long way in complimenting the work of our football federation in branding our football and selling it to the world.
With the raves and reviews our clothing has generated in the last two months. It can spell a boom for our fashion industry. If our local clubs can see in to the market and flow with the tide, I see a revolution in our approach to our teams. E Don tey people get interest for Nigerian jersey. But today, the demands is not only within Nigeria or by Nigerians - it is worldwide.
I never knew people will like to associate themselves with Nigeria of today. We are presently the talk of the whole world. But this time around on a positive side. Thanks to FASHION. I hope the likes of Enyimba, Kano Pillars, MFM, Rangers and others will do the same. |

Never knew the Russian were going to annihilate the Arabians. 5 was way too much for the Arabs to curtail. I'm so sure, this match has quenched all the fire burning in the camp of Saudi Arabia.
They are only left to fight for pride and make sure they don't concede more than 5 goals in their next matches.
They can now go and sleep in peace knowing fully well that they are technically out of the World Cup |

They told us how smooth their passes have been how better they were compared to our team. Hmmm... Na same Saudi de chop am against a side that drew 7 straight friendly matches.
HHope you don see for una sef. |
