[quote author=LagosismyHome post=106230664]For student visa or any UK visa.. has anyone receive uk visa despite having a US ban (ban was due to overstay)

I read someone’s testimony on this platform, who had a similar issue and his UK visa was approved. A quick question pls, when U.S issues a ban, do they always tell the person the reason ?

[quote author=uchiha09 post=106227637]Thank you. I will have a look at the university.
Check university of Hull too , though I’m not 100% sure. I think a friend once mentioned that they don’t need POF for CAS

Is your school in London? If yes and you are thinking of living outside London and traveling for lectures then consider the cost of train or bus to London.
Okay, My school is GCU London, so I’m just thinking about the best option in terms of accommodation and the price range, so I can start planning. I’m coming in January

Bad advice.
They know no more than you can find out for yourself.
Very bad advice, read through this forum and ask questions. I think this forum has answered 90 percent of the possible questions. However, visa applications have individual peculiarities, if you fall into that category and feel you need an agent, then go ahead. But I believe most people here are going for graduate studies, thus they can handle the application.

Find a hotel on airport road and Book Uber as early as 3.30-4am and you're good to go.
I think you should just go there at 11pm to avoid stories that touch.

Generally the further you move away from capital city the cheaper, cities 1-2hrs away from London are usually expensive because some people work in London, earn London rate but live outside London, they put pressure on housing and other social facilities in those cities, ready to pay more than those working locally and earning less.
Okay thanks for your response!
Another question pls, for housing in London , how much should one be looking at monthly? What’s the range? And are there cities around London where i can get cheaper rent ?

Lovely city, great student life but not the cheapest to live in.
But which city is then cheap to live?

Thank you for replying,
There’s a CAS deadline on the school website which is September 27, I’m confused on what it means, 27 is just two days away and I haven’t gotten my CAS. Does it means no more issuance of CAS after the date?
Well, I don’t really know but I want to assume it’s the deadline for you to meet the necessary requirements for them to prepare your CAs. If you’ve done that and they’ve not issued you CAs, then It’s not your fault.

Good Evening Everyone.

My CAS deadline is September 27 and even though I have requested for the CAS weeks ago, I’m yet to receive it.

I’m just curious of what next if the deadline elapses.
Please anyone to enlighten me, I’ll Appreciate any response
(The school is university of Chester)
I don’t get, what do you mean By CAs deadline?
The school hasn’t issued your CAs and they gave you a deadline? Or do you mean deadline to submit necessary documents required to issue CAs?

Egbami ooh..

Good day Patriots, so I was talking to a student at the university I applied to (Teesside University) he was like the University is not great. Someone at UKEAS said he doesn’t like the school and don’t process for it hence the need to do some research.

Here is the thing, I have two admission.

1. Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow
1 year, £13k
(Chartered Institute Certified; CIWM, CIWEM, CIBSE)

2. Teesside University, Middlesbrough
2 years £7,5k
(advanced practice, 2nd year internship at a company)

Both for an MSc. Environmental Management

They are both not as expensive with respect to cost of living. Since they are up North.

Please I need wise counsel on this. Which is better holistically. No emotions allowed. Thanks
Well, it depends on what he calls Great, probably he could be assessing with the standards of Oxford or Cambridge university. Maybe you should just check the rankings of the schools. I think both schools are cool.

Not quite true.
It’s true, we’ve all spent a lot to get to this point, then one decides to hand over an application to a total stranger. What could be the reason? The person can’t read and comprehend the details of the application? Then ask questions and do it by yourself just like I have learnt a lot on this platform. If you handover your application to a total stranger, and he messes it up, you land in trouble, then you deserve it !

Hmmmm, That means you don’t have a degree? Do you want to apply for BSC using your waec ?
Or just go back to your school and collect your certificate nah .. so you can use it to apply for postgraduate studies.

I’m in the same confusion, but I don’t even know the reason why I was denied 3 times for the U.S F1 visa, so I don’t know what to write

What else can I do please?
Guess they are dealing with September resumption for now. Maybe later in October or November, they’ll focus on January resumption

Hello all, a quick one.
Please is it possible for a UK school to refuse issuing student CAS on the grounds of previous U.S study visa denial ?

UBA sef na wa.

UBA wanted to give me heart attack.

I paid my school fees deposit using UBA as advise by the elders of this thread. That UBA deposits to UK schools reflects same day.

I paid since tuesday but I havent gotten debited. "UBA WEY EVERYBODY DA TAKE COUNT SCORES LIKE ARSENAL, DEM DA USE AM FOR SCHOOL FEES DEPOSIT AND E DA REFLECT SAME DAY, E REACH MY TURN NOW NA OVER 4 DAYS"

My village people were telling me to fund my Forex account with my school fees deposit. Lolz but God pass dem.

I received an email last night that the deposit has gone through. Funny enough my school just sent me an email few mins ago citing that I am yet to pay my school fees deposit.

I was charged at the rate of 580.8/GBP, this includes all the associated bank charges.

Abeg my I go drink chill water, thank God I am for January intake smiley
Which school ?

This is so true ! You cannot be more correct about this.
I suggest you move the money into your account. The best way to handle UKvi is to provide little information. Before you say JackRobinson
1. When did he die
2. Do you have the death certificate.
3. What was he doing before he died.
4.How much does he earn.
5. Are you his only dependents.

My dear, move the money sharply if you can and never mention your dad in the picture. Its your personal savings.

Hello guys, please I need to clarify an issue. I’ll be applying for UK study visa very soon ahead of January resumption date, but I’ve had previous visa denials for U.S F1( study visa) , 5 times precisely. I’m thinking if this would be an issue. Or should I just not bother about declaring it in my application ? Or do I just declare 2 or 3 denials as I feel 5 times over the last 4 years is a lot. I look forward to your comments.
Please can someone comment on this ?
