She has a decade plus working experience...
She already created a profile,do you advice she deletes and create a new one if per adventure the spouse agrees to write ielts and evaluates, plus his score for work experience? His age is already 0 while hers is 17 but they have their qualification to cover up for those |

Psychostar: Hello People, I must confess its quite a pleasant surprise finding this much information here and for free too! God bless all the contributors.
Came as a hurtful surprise when I discovered that most of my "friends" are "disappearing" to Canada without so much as giving me a heads up. I mean what are friends for !!! lol
I have "soji" now and ready to take the plunge, and here I am banking on your kindness take take me by the hand and walk me through the whole process.
What Have I Done so far? 1. I have requested for my Degree certificate from school. 2. I am studying for the IELTS with my spouse. Hoping to register for the exam befor this week runs out.
I want Express Entry but in a dilemma as to who to apply between myself and my wife.
I have a BSc, as well as 8 years plus work experience in a bank.
My wife has an MBA, but has no work experience at all.
Kindly advise how best to proceed.
Question 2: Proof of Funds From what I see in previous posts, I will need to provide a naira equivalent of N8m for a family of 4. I do not have that amount. Any suggestions as to How best to work around it would be appreciated.
Question 3: If application is successful, do I have to go with my family immediately or could I go alone at first to "prepare" the way for the family?
Thanks once again. Its a great forum! I can respond to Questions 1 and 3 1.You have to be the principal applicant because of your years of work experience ,applying for EE entails you having years of work experience... However, both of you can Write Ielts ,evaluate your degrees to earn more points.. 3.No you don't have to to with your family immediately, you can go alone, but your family must join you in 6 months time |

cuteguy201: It's well Madam. I've told myself that the more I think about the result, the more I won't be able to move on and practice for another test. After receiving my TRF from British Council, I went straight to MOD/IDP and registered for April 21 date. However, I would apply for a remark at BC on Monday. 8.5, 9, 6, 7.5 in LRWS is not beans to throw away just like that. It would end in praise for all of us. Please can you enlighten me more on this IDP/MOD exam centre in place of BC? Are they in pH,please a link to their site would help.. Thank you |

Now, we've got some more time on our hands and will organize another this Friday (tentative). Date will be confirmed tomorrow. If you want to join in, send me a PM and I'll book you in. It's free. The idea is to touch on cool strategies for listening and hopefully also reading and writing. Joining instructions will be sent to the email with which you PM. Ethelia: As a dependent spouse you will have to undergo medicals and provide PCC (these are mandatory). You can also help increase the CRS score by writing IELTS and obtaining an ECA for your educational qualification. These 2 are NOT mandatory if the principal applicant alone has enough points to get an ITA.
You can also contribute to the POF Thank you so much |

balogunsam: Good evening ma'am. Let me try answer you.
1. The older you or him become, the lower your points for age drops...once yoi have checked the costs and convinced ots spkething4for you, please start asap..just start!
2. I am not sure about this, but i think its max 20 if the spouse aces the
3. You cannot jointly do ECA. Each will do his or hers individually. You get more points if you both do. With the surge on CRS cut off points, if neither of you have a masters degree, you may habe low CRS.
Wish you the best. Thank you so much, would doing my ECA add any value to the points since I am not a principal applicant, trying to think of a way to save cost, don't want to throw cash to the bin |

Also, use the comprehensive ranking score tool to see how many points you will have if you apply. good luck... Thanks brotherly |

Newmum0615: Several factors would determine his eligibility: Age, level of education, IELTS score, number of years of work experience, NOC under which his work experience falls, etc. After 3 years, He has already maxed out on his years of work experience. Next would be choosing the right NOC for any work experience that is three years and above or even at least one year. It should be NOC 0, A or B. Nothing stops you from being the PA with your self employment experience. Please read through the CIC website and also page 0 of this thread. You will be well informed after you do. Good luck. Thank you @newmum0615 Thank yky |

Ramj: it's not about the course you studied. rather about your work experience matching a job with NOC O, A or B.
Apart from other eligibility criteria.
So what's your work experience like people might be able to help you match it to the right NOC
