You have comprehension problem, i was reffering to politics section, is it only politics section that NL has?. I am talking about politics section of the forum being bastardised with biafra topics, hence it loses appeal to many members which in effect, affects the owner. It's not a rocket science if you know how forum, blog owners earn their monies. My submission will only be illogical to ill-equipped minds. |

martyns303: You said insults where exchanged between two sides, how does that affect NL? View it from this angle, there are more members who are not interested in biafra this biafra that , than those who look forward to biafra stuffs on this forum. but when the politics section is filled up with biafra topics almost everytime, with time many members interested in reading other news or political stories would be chased away cos they would always think nothing except biafra issues will be in the politics section. This is a loss to the owner of the forum. I believe biafra has its own forum but i dont think the traffic is up to half of what we have here. You can figure the reasons out by yourself. Before this forum owner lose his members to biafra agitations, he musta do the needful. Nobody wants to run a business at a loss. |

stuff46: [s]@Airmark- What will you say about Gudiola's 100Matches different lineup? ( Not forgetting the fact that as at early this year, he had more injury than you could ever imagine and he still utilized the second who played good football; for which if not for bacelona's form would have gone ahead to win Champs league?). Master planning is the key to evrything bro. If he had not been using all those elements in the squad and have always been a complete user of all members of the squad, he would have been stranded?
Am using bayerns's stand to rubbish you claim that a first tier team like man u should be complaining of not making the cut in a group with the likes of psv nd wolfburg.
Valencia nd co are key squad member, same as bernat nd rafinha. Don't attribute failure to chance, it is an event (According to Probability theory ).
Dmdcad@ you get too much time to waste jor. Round 16 predictions, any meal can serve, atleast we will have good sub to use before then. [/s] Despite barca justifying my argument yesterday that a strong team would struggle when her regulars were not fielded, you are still disturbing me this early morning with this gibberish. I give up on you guys. Tell me any moment the bavarians lost 8 of her regulars to injuries and played a strong team and won comfortably in UCL? Even in burnthisleaguedown, after losing robben, alaba, costa just last week, they were roundly beaten by one of the weakest teams in this year's group stage of ucl. Imagine what would happen if boatank, lahm, muller and arturo vidal join them at the same time. Fact is they will struggle like man utd did with jokes like varella, powell and Borthwick-Jackson. When arsenal played 2nd leg against bayern, missing services of kolcieny, bellerin, ramsey and walcott, we all saw how bayern easily annihilated them within 45 minutes. I told dmcdad yesterday that previous performances are sometimes irrelevant, a team might grind out result at the last minute especially when her major materials are on ground. That was exactly what happened yesterday in arsenal's match, no one gave them a chance, but at the end they proved most bookies wrong. It's high time you guys started comprehending simple soccer analysis. |

dmcdad: [s] Is it that you don't learn or you choose to ignore facts?
You got what you requested for but fail to acknowledge it here and now. You asked that Pique, Mascherano, Alves, Iniesta and co not play, for us to see how we will fare, right? Well, you go what you asked. Pique, Mascherano, Alves, Iniesta, Busquets, Suarez and Neymar didn't play.
Now note this; even though we didn't fight for a place (that is we were already qualified), we didn't lose nonetheless. But Man Utd fought for a spot and lost it because they were shiit.
Now, eat back those words of yours.
PS: You don bring Munir and co matter again ooooo. Later you go aay you no include Hazard. At least Munir and co have goals this season. How many goals has he scored this season? So by your logic, Munir >>>>>>>>> Hazard. #Fact.
If you must quote me again, please it should be an acknowledgement and a testament for what I told you that regardless of the players used, a top side should remain so.[/s] Just scamper for safety. The result tells you i was right with my earlier argument but you would n't accept. Any strong team will struggle when majority of her major players are not playing. I am not a man utd fan, but i told you facts about the team that played yesternight, it was a weakened team. In other news valencia lost at home again to lyon. Man Utd couldnt qualify in a group of PSV Wolfsburg and CSKA. man Utd is one of the top teams of the EPL
Thats akin to Barca, Atletico or Madrid not being able to qualify from their current groups. In SPain Barca Madrid and Atletico their top teams have already secured qualification before the last gameweek
That is why Spain is topping EPL with a wide margin in the coefficient
So Wolfburg beat Bayern makes them a top team?
West Ham beat City Arsenal and CHelsea so they should be able to take on Barca
Celta Vigo beat Barca, Barca beat bBayern that means Celta Vigo would beat Bayern conveniently

It was a quick question to inquire from us cules if anyone got any ideaa when he would be back since there was no midfield bench on that game. You dont wanna play a game without having a midfield substitute. That further buttressed my point that the fact that man utd paraded a weak team due to injuries and lost yesterday is not enough for anyone to use it against the whole epl like debroslink did. If dmcdad could be concerned about the bench why wont a man utd fan be concerned about his team regulars that were sidelined by injuries? There are teams who could rise up to occasion and grind out results at the last minute such teams would need experienced players to do it. Man utd lacked it yesterday parading damian as LB, varela, borthwick-jackson, nick powell and other emergency recruits to do that. dmcdad: But against the likes of PSV, Wolfsburg and CSKA? 3rd or 4th tier teams? Haba na... Fear God na! I would never accept injury as been the reason for a top side like Man U not to qualify ahead of those 3rd/4th tier teams. So wolfsburg that defeated bayern twice this year is a 4th tier club, right? Thats the kind of braggadocio that heralded the man city/sevilla duels until sevilla was flogged home and away. Zenith is also a 4th tier team and defeated valencia home and away, right? Ridiculous. i asked you how your barca would cope without mascherano, alba, alves buscuit, rakitic, pique and iniesta against a team like wolfsburg? A bit busy now but lemme chip in this, before this last fixture man utd was having Valencia, Shaw , Herrera, Jones , rojo all injured and man utd as 2nd on the log was in qualifying position. Those are facts. In fact what happened prior to yesterday is irrelevant, Chelsea was on the verge of being bundled out by Napoli in 2012 only to bring the magic wand in the 2nd leg against all odds. If some barca fans could be crying for sergi Roberto after a draw with Valencia, don't blame man utd fans if they do same for their injured players. I ain't a man utd fan but that's the truth. Are you telling me Man Utd had their injuries at the beginning of this season's UCL campaign? C'mon fear God na! Haba!
Day 1 did they have 8 people injured? Day 2 did they? How about day 3? Day 4? And day 5?
So because they had 8 people missing in day 6 then they weren't supposed to qualify. How about prior?
Abeg, no dey expose yourself jare. I no sabi all these kinda arguments sef wey person go see truth no go gree talk am. Though man utd has other problems but there are moments you need majority of your materials available to achieve your goals at the last minute no matter how badly you started. We have seen it before in soccer world where a team started badly but came out stronger in competition. A more solid defence yesterday by man utd would have seen them topping the table this morning. If you like behave as if it's not the truth, wolfsburg yesterday was beatable if you watched the match very well. Inclusion of schneiderlin, shaw, rojo, valencia , herrera, jones would have been helpful to them. All wolfsburg 3 goals were largely caused by inexperienced defending. Just imagine your team without mascherano, buscuit, alba, alves, rakitic and pique in a crucial fixture. You know how it will be. Ohhh my bad, you guys played Bournemouth with your academy players. No? [/s] Don't divert issues to hazard's or chelsea's. We are not talking about hazard. We are talking about man utd team that had his 8 major players sidelined by injuries not playing yesternight against a wolfsburg team. If barca loses 8 regular players how will they fare? Only sergio roberto was not playing , homesteady was crying all over the thread. address that bro. dmcdad: [s] You are very funny bruv... You mean i actually wanted to escape your response, hence I twisted your stand? Like really? You have been typing some ludicrously annoying stuffs since yesterday but I just turn a blind eye. Why? Because most of you are never tired of endless arguments albeit you are mostly on the wrong side.
Now, leave aside sentiments and tell me the last time an EPL team got itself into the semi finals of the UCL. That's one. Now tell me, when was the last time more than one EPL teams got as far as the quarters? That's two. Now tell me, if EPL has not been in decline since 2012, how come your fourth spot is at risk if any of you guys fail not to make it to the semis? That's three. After answering the aforementioned, now tell me if really EPL ain't in decline.
Now, debroslink saying EPL has been in decline doesn't mean an EPL team wouldn't win a team from La Liga or the Bundesliga. It is just a general view on how EPL teams have been performing over the last 3 years. So, stop that cheap waynof using Sevilla as a reference point since City won them home and away, whereas they won Barca-Madrid. You should know better not to use such as yardstick when comparing sides. Or you wanna tell me because Celta wwon us 4 goals to 1 then Celta can win the Champions League? Of course by your logic one could deduce that, since they won the defending champions. Not to even mention the fact that, this same City happens to be Barça's bitch. Abeg, them no dey judge ball like that jare.
Whether its being exaggerated or not, EPL is on the decline. Anyone who says such ain't exaggerating anything. It is just a fact at this juncture. Just face it bruv and hope your team and other EPL teams brace themselves and improve. Hyping your league and all wouldn't help a bit.
But if it makes you happy, you can keep hyping your league while we keep winning the trophies. [/s] Stop all these medefegedege. Address how debroslink defined epl being on a decline as quoted below. Debroslink: Story for the Devils. From your analogy, Man city will destroy Barca and Madrid right?

Debroslink: A shame to Man United is a shame to EPL. 3 la liga teams topped their groups and 1 more may join them today. But when we see the likes of Kiev, Olympiakos, struggling with Chelsea and Arsenal respectively on the final day of group stage, you still will come and quote 2012.
Receive sense. But a shame to sevilla and valencia who were beaten home and away by epl and russian clubs is not a shame to la liga, right? That is my problem with you, your argument is illogical. If you use one team performance to judge a league as you did in the post i reacted to cos man utd lost out of ucl, then i dont know what to call you. I am not arguing the fact that epl is on a decline with you, using a man utd ouster as you initially did made mince meat of your soccer knowledge. philfearon: I hate to say this, but your poor and limited knowledge on Spanish club history and football politics is totally clouding your judgement.. The knowledge of spanish club history and football politics only reside in your brain. When barca was winning matches/trophies with ojoros, nobody stripped them of the laurels, but you guys want us to do same to real madrid, right? That's your headache not FIFA and IFHS who gave real madrid the best club of the century. It's painful to barca fans but that's the fact and what everyone must work with. When pique and etoo turned themselves to goalkeepers stopping balls with their hands, sergio busquets rolling on the ground to get matching orders given to oppponents and barcelona was renamed uefalona, none of you saw it as politics. I reacted to what debroslink said below which was senseless, because based on the decline we are supposed not to see any epl team beating a la liga outfit let alone doing it home and away. Below is how debroslink defined epl declining, did it make sense to you too?using a team ouster to define it. Epl is on a decline but not at a ridiculous level some fools here paint it. Man city showed that by beating sevilla, the madrid and barca slayers home and away. The point here is you dont use one team performance to define it. Debroslink: Story for the Devils. From your analogy, Man city will destroy Barca and Madrid right?
When we say EPL is on a decline, we mean the best club in EPL history spent 300m euros, but could not qualify from a group consisting of CSKA, PSV and Wolfsburg. What a shame! ElDeeVee: Its easy for you to remove Di Steafano's five UCL but you find it hard to remove your dubious UCL wins in 06,09 and 11. You used 12 men to play against virtually all teams. In 2005, in a second round match against chelsea, barca coach (Frank Rijkard) was seen coming out of the referee's (Anders Frisk) room during the break. Result: The referee gave Drogba a red card within 10 mins of restart and the rest is history.
The officiating in 2009 against Chelsea was tagged as one of poorest match officiating in UCL history. We know what happened.
